Alright! Chapter 8 is finally up.
This is my longest chapter yet I believe.
I hope you all enjoy it, I’ve been writing it for an hour or so… I like it.
Stephanie and Draco’s relationship is building, but they won’t be a couple right off the bat. Their actions might suggest being one, but they won’t be one until either or pops the “Will you be my ‘girlfriend/boyfriend’.” question. Until then, they’re extremely good friends.
Yet it doesn’t mean she’s going to let Pansy treat her any way she wants.
I also drew out my character in the school uniform and how she normally wears her hair up if it’s not down (which is described below) and my wand.
If you guys want me to post them, review or send me a message.
Enjoy!

It was fifteen minutes from eight in the morning when Draco thought it’d be safe to exit; he looked towards Stephanie before shaking her lightly, “Stephanie,” no response – “Stephanie! Get up!”
Stephanie still lay there, breathing still steady as he sighed in irritation – at least she didn’t snore. Running his fingers through his hair he pondered how to wake her up without startling her. As far as he was concerned this was the best time to get out without rumors – Blaise had left for the day. Draco had also been taken off guard seeing Pansy exit with his roommate – stupid slag sleeps with any guy she gets her hands on, he thought to himself.
“Kitten, wake up!” He had bent down; face level with her as he watched her eyes flutter open, confusion etched upon her features. She was quite adorable when sleeping but now that she was awake the expression she wore was just priceless. He let out a soft chuckle as her eyes widened in horror – yup, he knew she’d freak.
Stephanie sat up slowly, memories from last night just hitting her. “O…oh my! Draco, he…hey. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to… I mean, last night… I’m sorry and for what I’d said before the thing with the Professor and you – I mea – ” She babbled on before his lips pressed down against her own, catching her off guard.
The kiss was simple, much like a peck to the cheek – just it lasted a few seconds longer and it was on the lips. Her face was burning with embarrassment, eyes looking anywhere but him. Holy crap what was that about? Why did he kiss me… what’s going on? This has just been odd; I thought I was going to stand my ground! Stephanie, you’re being soft… aren’t you? She was snapped out of her thoughts by a peck to the forehead and ruffling of her already bed-head hair.
“Common, Kitten. Get up – you need to go back to your dorm and change – do whatever you do to get ready, it’s eight o’clock. Classes start at nine and I – for one – am extremely hungry. Most Slytherins are at breakfast by now and if not, they’re sleeping; you most likely won’t run into any of them in the common room.” Draco watched her stand up – he had no idea why he was calling her ‘Kitten’ to begin with – maybe it was her eyes… which he’d noticed were golden brown. Ugh, Draco – What is your issue? She said she didn’t like you like that last night… then again she apologized for what was said.
“I’ll meet you in front of the girl’s dormitory stairs in twenty minutes?” She questioned as her lips curled into a bright smile. As she walked off towards the door she looked back at him, a nod in confirmation was all she received as she made her way to the girl’s dorm.
Stephanie wasted no time, but she wasn’t careless either. She placed a glamour on herself to make it seem she was just simply wearing their school uniform as she walked out and took the opposite stairs to her room. She passed a few female students; luckily none saw her exit from the boy’s dorm. As she got to her room she went in, grabbing a few things before going to the shower that she luckily didn’t share with anyone. She was practically a ‘Head Girl’ if you wanted to compare her situation to anything. She didn’t share a room with anyone or a bathroom… but she was still in her house, so she’d have to be careful – bragging wouldn’t be a wise thing to do, but she wasn’t one to brag either way.
“Bleh, why do I have all of this anyway?” She slipped out of her night clothes, glad the shower was connected to her room. Honestly she thought it’d be like a gym shower thing… but obviously she was mistaken.
She was quick with showers when she wanted to be, she’d already wasted five minutes – fifteen more to go. Stripping quickly she entered the shower and turned it on, the knob on a mild warm, a soft hiss escaped her as the water turned out to be cold – warming up only seconds later. She grabbed her shampoo, standing under the running water before pouring some into her hand and lathering her hair. She let it sit a minute or two before washing it out and repeating with conditioner. After that she soaped up a little pom-pom as she liked to call it and began to wash herself – at that point ten minutes had passed and she was finally rinsing off.
Finishing up she then turned off the water and stepped out, walking over to where her towel was – her wand off to the side. She patted her skin dry and then realization hit her, “Stephanie… you’re a witch, act like one…” she muttered a charm causing hot air to surround her, drying her off instantly. She was glad it didn’t ruin her hair as she was already brushing it out.
She had three minutes before she had to get downstairs. “Accio Slytherin Uniform,” in front of her now lay the uniform she specifically made. Hopefully she wouldn’t get in trouble for her… alterations. Honestly their idea of a uniform seemed to hot to her, she quickly dressed, having minor malfunctions as she then looked in the mirror, “I should… wear my hair up.” She brushed her hair up, making sure to let a nice size part of her long bangs hang out on each side, placing it in a clean ponytail before clipping it with a black hair-clip, letting it fan out atop her head. “There, perfect!”
She looked over at the time, for some odd reason there was a clock in the bathroom… guess it was something Dumbledore thought she’d need, he was right. “Eight twenty!? Crap, crap! Gonna be a minute or two late.” She ran downstairs – completely forgetting her books as she then slammed into someone – “O..ow… sorry, sorry!” Her eyes opened slightly to reveal Malfoy looking at her with an amused expression.
“Oh, sorry… eh… crud… Accio School Bag,” the bag appeared in front of her – luckily she’d gotten it together before she even came to Hogwarts. He looked at her, shocked – apparently that was a hard… spell maybe? Her head cocked to the side as she noticed his appreciative look at her wardrobe.
Draco was smitten – she guessed was a correct way to put it? She watched him drink in the sight of her, a sigh escaping her as
She wore a white collared, t-shirt with a silver stripe over a green stripe on each sleeve end. Her tie was the same one from the uniform she was supposed to wear – silver and green striped all the way through. Her skirt was long enough to cover, yet it didn’t look slutty – it was colored black and had a simple green stripe towards the bottom of the skirt, just an inch before it cut off. On top of that she wore green and silver thigh-hi stockings, starting with green on the top and going on from there – clipped up by silver snakes. Her black shoes had a slight heel, buckling down as the stockings showed through the little u-shaped hole.
Overall the outfit she wore… was something she’d wanted to wear ever since she realized Harry Potter existed, at least at Halloween. Thing was, she never was able to make it a reality due to not finding the right things… and so on so fourth. Clearing her throat – I do that a lot – snapping him out of whatever thought process his mind was on and walked towards the dungeon opening, “We should get going… we only have like thirty minutes to eat anything, right?”
“Yeah, lets go.” He walked with her, his hand snaking around to her opposite side as it settled on her hip, pulling her closer to him.
Oh, no, this won’t cause rumors – not at all, she sarcastically muttered in her mind, feeling her cheeks redden. He’s acting uncharacteristically nice, then again… I’m uncharacteristically not supposed to be here.
“Drraacccooo ~” a shrill voice was heard as Stephanie was pushed aside, stumbling, her bag luckily breaking her fall – but none to comfortably. What the hell was that! Her eyes narrowed the hue a deep crimson color as she snarled towards the offender.
“Pansy…” He looked furious as he went to pick Stephanie up, brushing her off slightly – “You okay Steph?” Draco whispered softly and when she nodded ‘yes’ he turned towards the raven-haired Slytherin, giving her a nasty look before walking off towards their house table, but not before dragging Stephanie along.
“Draco! DRACO!” Pansy was following close behind them, anger evident in her voice as she grabbed the hand that was holding on to Stephanie’s. “Let go of him, he’s mine you first-year slag!” Snapping Pansy held her wand up, “you’re nothing more than a good shag.” She went on to tell her as the wand dug into Stephanie’s right shoulder, pushing her back.
“I wouldn’t do that you pug-faced slut,” Stephanie’s hues were black, laced with blood-red – no distinction between iris and pupil for the most part. She had pulled her own wand out – she thought hers was quite intimidating just by the design. It was completely black, save for the crimson wood that twisted around three times until the tip of the wand which was shaped slightly more-so in the fashion of an arrow’s point.
“Why you… insolent little – ” Pansy casted first, “FILIPEND— ” before the pug-faced girl was able to finish Stephanie had casted a silent ‘Expelliarmus’ Pansy’s wand appeared in her hand and everyone looked confused – she hadn’t even said a word. Pansy at this point was angered.
“Psh, tell me why you were you in – ” Pansy was stopped as Stephanie pointed her wand at the girl, “Obliviate.” Everyone gasped – they were probably wondering why a first-year was able to do advanced magic. The teachers were currently flabbergasted as McGonagall and Snape walked over to the two, a serious look plastered on their features.
“Miss Kirchner… you will be serving detention with me tonight in the dungeons and for the next week and a half to be precise,” the Professor’s tone held slight fascination at Stephanie’s ability more then anger at what she’d done.
“Miss Parkinson, you will be having detention with me and for the same duration as Miss Kirchner – twenty points from Slytherin for both of you!” McGonagall stated as she ushered Pansy to sit down before she put the house farther negative in points.
Detention? Ugh… first day and already detention. Stephanie noticed Draco staring at her as he shook her head, “I think we should have a talk, Steph.” He picked up an apple before walking off, obviously wanting her to follow. She merely huffed and grabbed the first thing she thought looked appetizing, a chocolate chip muffin – “Accio Soda.” A bottle of Dr. Pepper popped up in her hand – I’m going to so love this part of magic. She then followed promptly behind the Prince of Slytherin.
Today wasn’t the best, but at least it wasn’t going to be the worst. Both were finally in the hall – students passing here and there, probably getting to class early or finding friends. Stephanie was shocked Adrianna hadn’t run into her yet, she did a quick round-about check. Adria…nna… Adrianna… where are – Oh, there you are! Her Ravenclaw friend was staring intently at them, unabashedly smirking as she gave a simple wave – Stephanie courteously gave one back before mouthing ‘One second, have to talk to Ferret first.’
Stephanie could hear Adrianna’s laugh echo throughout the hall as she smiled, hopefully he hadn’t read her lips. He wasn’t a ferret in her mind, buuut… it was always fun to joke about it, “Draco – what’d you want to talk about?”
“Are you nuts, Stephanie? You can’t go making a scene in front of the other students like that! You could’ve gotten hurt, then again – why the hell do you know such advanced wand work… and getting a better look at your wand – who the hell crafted that!?” Draco was simply rattling off his irritation at the moment as both hands had settled on her shoulders. He was considerably taller than herself, 5’8 probably…while she still stood a mere four foot… something.
“It’s natural to me, Dragon.” He’d called her kitten earlier, only right for her to nickname him at some point. She hugged him slightly and gave a soft giggle at his reaction to her nickname. “Oh come on Draco, it’s not bad – anyway. I’m pretty sure we’re split up in detentions because this is the perfect opportunity for Snape to teach me and for you to as well… anyway – I’ll explain tonight in detention, I saw that look he gave you it was the ‘You’re coming too, Malfoy’ look.” She allowed herself to laugh for a few seconds before retreating towards Adrianna.
“See you in a class or two. I’m in advanced classes, but only get the choices of a first-year; I apparently don’t even need to be at Hogwarts to be clearly honest. I picked 3rd year level for some and first year for others. I believe we have Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. I have to take Flying – even though I already know how, we might have Transfiguration together if you have that… I mean I already have an animagus down… so dunno… only first-year level is Flying.”
He shook his head, knowing she wouldn’t see as heard her squeal and watched her jump up and down before hugging the taller girl – That girl will be the death of me, I swear. She’s such a mystery – oh well if she has a secret, she’ll tell me – at least if I don’t figure it out first. He turned and walked off, the alert was about to sound for first class. Well at least he had lunch then two other classes with her, that’d be nice.
“Adrianna! Yaaaay! I’m so happy, oh yeah… I haven’t… eaten my muffin yet…” Stephanie giggled as she bit into it. “Mmmm… I could never get used to this… could you Oddy?” She watched the other girl snicker before shaking her head. “Whaaat…?” Stephanie whined, finishing up her muffin before twisting the cap open to her slightly shaken Dr. Pepper – she hated flat soda, so she gave a light sip – noticing it was fine she went to drinking it as she listened to her friend.
“So I heard the classes you have are all third-year level except flying. So when do you have said classes? I have the same ones you listed, buuuut – hoping we have them together,” Adrianna shook her head slightly as she watched the other girl with her soda – “That shit is bad for you.”
“Shush!” Stephanie pouted. “Anyway… I have Flying first then Transfiguration and after lunch I have DADA and finally Potions.” Stephanie pulled out a book and handed it to Adrianna. “I want you to have this it’s some sort of weird parchment – it’s sort of like a messenger if you wanna call it that, just on paper. Basically you write, it shows up on my side – vice versa, we can use this when we’re in our dorms – it glows when there’s a new message. Also to erase anything just press your wand against it and say ‘Turgeo’, should remove the ink.”
Adrianna nodded and took the book from Stephanie. “Good, now we won’t go mad in our own houses – seriously Luna is interesting, but… I dunno, can’t keep her around for too long. We have the same classes together though, that’s good. Also, I have my own room and bathroom, do you?”
“Yeah I do. I thought it was strange,” She looked around – students luckily weren’t staring at her. “Ya… know. I’m surprised people aren’t watching my every move, you’d think they would after what happened.”
Adrianna laughed, “I knew I was forgetting something – damn… that was epic. I nearly burst out laughing at her shocked expression. Girl deserved it, actually thought I saw a few Slytherins cheer you on. You didn’t hear?”
“Not really, I was pissed… all I could hear was ‘one draco, two draco.’ you know – the normal counting in my head to calm myself down,” Stephanie smiled as Adrianna’s laugh turned into a snicker.
“Uh-huh, normal counting. Yeah, Stephanie – sure, that’d either be sheep or normal numbers. Anyway, while you’re running after blondie I’ll be running after a couple of red-heads. Twins to be exact,” Stephanie raised a brow at Adrianna’s words and was about to say something but…
The bell sounded for first class, their train of thought elsewhere now and the two looked at each other.
“So where is this class exactly?” They said at the same time.
Oh… crap, both thought
They were prepared for every class,
But apparently neither of them had a map to get to said classes.
“Well this just gets better and better Oddy.”
“Oh shut it Stephanie!”

Thank you for reading!
Hope you liked chapter 8 ~
It’s 4 in the morning here, so I thought this would be the best place to stop it.
You know, give it a little cliffy – do they make it on time, do they skip… what happens.
Also eventually gonna Fast Forward a few parts to actually get to the tournament drawing and you know going through it and all. I’m going to try to make this to where it goes through all the years and beyond. So this fic is going to be… quite lengthy if I keep doing it like I am – you know day to day, cutting days in half. (Lol…imagine 1000+ chapters, I’d go nuts.)
