Title: Strange Sixth Year

Rating: M

Summary: Snape is slipped a lust potion and Hermione becomes
the object of his desire. Set during sixth year and hopefully more fleshed out.
Based on the Plot Bunny on WIKTT and not HBP compliant.

Chapter 8: The Coffin

            It took
Snape a lot longer to finish the Order business in France then he thought and by time
he did return warm weather had started and Gryffindor was one match closer in
keeping the Quidditch Cup. Tonks had taken over his classes and had almost
blown up his classroom and office. The statue of Bast was still there and he
wrote a message to Hermione, telling her that he was back from France and had
already planned his summer holidays to spend with her. He folded it and placed
it on the table. It vanished in an instant and Snape waited for a response.

    “Snape’s back,” Harry
told Ron during dinner.

    “Like I care,” Ron
told Harry.

But Ron did care. The idea that Snape was back would lay
perfect in his plans to make both Snape and Hermione suffer. Once Snape was
gone he would throw the coffin in the lake where it would be dragged under. Ron
knew the news that would reach Hermione would shock her so bad that she would
lose the baby. No Snape to invade his children’s lives and make their lives a
nightmare and no more Potions Master to make his life difficult.

            Later that night
Snape entered the Great Hall due to a letter that Ron had sent. The coffin was
open and Snape looked around. He noticed the coffin and approached it. Suddenly
Ron appeared and pushed Snape into the coffin, the lid closing at once. Snape
kicked and screamed but Ron shrunk the coffin and headed outside. Once outside
he returned it back to normal and threw the coffin into the lake. It stayed
there for a few moments and then the currents dragged the coffin away. Ron
heard the kicking and screaming stopped and then Ron headed back inside the
castle.

            Unknown to
Ron the coffin didn’t sink the moment that it was a certain distance but it
continued to move even though the body that was inside it was dead. The coffin
continued to move, though it did bump against several things. Thankfully the
contents inside didn’t get damaged nor did the coffin break. Meanwhile the soul
of Snape traveled through the underworld until at last it reached the place of
resting where all souls are judged.

   “You can’t be
judged as your body hasn’t been prepared correctly,” said Anubis.

   “Ron Weasley,”
Snape hissed. “He killed me.”

   “Which was his
plan,” Maat said. “He planned to use your death to cause Bast to lose her
child.”

   “Is there anything
that I can do?” Snape asked, feeling helpless against Ron’s evil plan.

   “Isis
will find your body a restore you back to life,” Anubis told him. “But you must
hide from his eye if you wish to see your child.”

Snape agreed and waited.

            The thing
was that Isis had been there the whole time.
Her false form was Ginny and Isis had taken
this form, just as Bast had been forced into the form of Hermione, to see how
the human’s were doing with the gifts the Gods had given them. Ginny changed
into Isis and went looking for Bast’s lover’s
body. She searched high and low for the coffin and for the first time, in a
long time, her powers were unable to find him. At last she came upon a village
who told her that a beautiful coffin had been found.

            Isis opened the coffin when she found it and used her
magic to restore Snape back to life. He ran for the mountains and Isis returned to her mortal form and headed back to
Hogwarts.

   “Where have you
been?” Harry asked.

   “Oh out,” Ginny
said and then noticed Harry’s strange expression. “What’s wrong?”

   “Snape has
vanished,” Harry said. “And Ron’s a little too happy about it.’

   “Do you think that
Ron knows more about Snape’s disappearance then he’s letting on?” Ginny asked.

   “Gods, I hope not,”
Harry said. “I mean, if he did cause Snape to disappear then who helped him?”

   “That’s what I
would like to know,” Ginny answered.

            Meanwhile
Ron was informed from Set that Snape had been returned to his mortal body. Set
gave him a pair of gloves that had the power to kill him once and for all. Ron
left Hogwarts and headed to the place that Snape was at. When he knocked on the
door Snape opened it and at once Ron sprang on him and before Snape could draw
his wand he was torn into fourteen pieces and threw his body into the river.
They floated and then disappeared.

   “Now the child will
die,” Ron said and disappeared as well.

            Isis was once again dispatched to find Snape and bit by
bit over the course of time she found the different parts of him and once again
used her magic to restore him back to life. Once the breath of life was back he
uttered the following promise.

   “When my daughter
grows up she shall kill Ron Weasley,” he said. “And she shall use whatever
means it take to do the deed and none shall imprison her or be able to imprison
her due to her act of vengeance.”

On the other side Thoth wrote this down so that it would be
done and Isis from that time forward made him the God of prophecy for what he
had said and what would happen in due time.

A/N: Things are going to slow down a whole bunch. Next up:
Snape’s daughter is born and Snape leaves Hogwarts.
