Harry was excited as he dressed and checked on his Aunt. She was still weak and did not seem pressed to leave her room as yet, but Harry promised her a tour as soon as she was up for it. He made his way to the dining room where his guest should be assembled. Harry approached the doors of the room and they opened for him with a dramatic flair he had not intended. As he looked around the table all eyes were on him and he slightly colored at the rapt attention. He inclined his head at all present and smiled at each acknowledge member of the assembled. Luna Lovegood smiled pleasantly. Neville Longbottom looked jovial as he nodded back. Cho Chang smiled shyly. Seamus Finnigan raised a hand. Dean Thomas nodded. Fred and George leered and let their eyes roam his form. Harry blushed again and inclined his head at Remus next.
Harry frowned slightly, but nodded none the less at his last guests, Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy. Harry had taken a risk sending a letter worded the way it was to Draco, but apparently he was justified. If the handsome blond had come anyway; he was satisfied his heart was true.
Harry waved his hand and breakfast was served.
“Welcome to Gryffindor Manor. As my guest my home is at your disposal. I assume the house elves apprised you all of some of the amenities open to you?” At everyone’s nod he continued. “Make yourselves at home. Explanations can wait until after the meal, until then enjoy the fare.”
Most at the table accepted the greeting and began to eat, placing the foods they wanted into their plates, all except the Slytherin compliment.
“What the hell is going on Potter?” Malfoy’s strident tone cut through the morning peace.
“Breakfast, it would appear.” Harry answered, raising an eyebrow at Malfoy’s rudeness.
“So we are just supposed to sit here and eat like you just invited us to a little hose party? How did you get a home like this anyway?” Harry had to laugh at the trademark sneer; his life wasn’t right without that sneer as a constant.
Malfoy drew back at the laugh thrown off by this positive reaction; he too required a certain amount of animosity between the two to feel whole.
“I’m sure, Draco, a house party this is not. What I have to discus is not entertaining at all, but deadly serious. You know this; otherwise you would not be here. All I am trying to do is give you breakfast before I make you think about dying a horrible death at the hands of Voldemort.” Harry spoke calmly, but the words were enough to make the blond pale. He sat back and began to eat. Harry looked around the table to see that the others had stopped. He sighed and merely grabbed some toast and tea. As he finished he stood and was confident he was no longer keeping anyone from finishing their meal.
“If you will, follow me?” Harry led the group out of the dining room and up to the third floor. He paced outside a plain wooden door and waited until it unlocked and opened it for his guests. “I’m sure you are all familiar with this type of room, we all seem to have been in its equivalent at Hogwarts at some point of another; he looked at Draco.
“Bloody, awesome, you’ve got your own room of requirement,” Seamus exclaimed.
“It is cool.” Harry admitted and led them over to a large round table centered in the room. Harry had picked the shape to make sure everyone could see each other and communicate unhindered. Plus he could not stop his own thoughts of the legendary King Arthur’s table of knights, being that he was a descendant of Merlin. “If anyone needs anything the room shall provide it during this meeting.”
All inhabitants of the room took a seat no one taking any notice to who they sat next to, they were all distracted by the gravity of the situation. Harry began, “I think it is fitting that today we sit in one of the homes of the Hogwarts founders and symbol of courage, Gryffindor Manor. I sent you all the same letter spelled with the same incantation to test your loyalty to me and our cause.”
“And what is our cause?” Snape asked guardedly.
“To save our world from Dark Lords and the forces that protects them. We are engaged in a second war against a mad man deemed dead for fifteen year, who invoked so much fear that when he returned a whole government clung to a denial and ran a child into the mud to help protect that lie. Yet when they were forced into admittance, they came back to said child for saving.”
“But, Harry, you said in the letter there was a new threat?” Cho chimed.
“And I assure you there is. Even if I were to kill the Dark Lord Voldemort, my life would still be in jeopardy from a sinister villain that is trusted far more than any Minister of Magic.”
“Mr. Potter, are you quite sure you want to throw down this gauntlet? It will not be an easy battle.”
“My dear Professor, we are here to talk of war, not simply a single battle. I intend to save us all from all threats to our way of life.”
“Who are you talking about Harry? Where’s Hermione and Ron, anyway?” Neville looked a little apprehensive.
“Neville…everyone, I am not here by accident. Here at Gryffindor Manor, orphaned, or Savior of the Wizarding World. I am the product of a manipulative, dangerous old goat. Albus Dumbledore is who I am referring to.” The gasps heard from most of the rooms was not a surprise, the hard part now was confessing every secret he had to friend and foe.
“But he’s the Headmaster and leader of the Light side?” Cho said, looking like she feared a boogie man all of a sudden. Harry made to open his mouth to reply, but Luna spoke to the room.
“Who better to fill the gap that Voldemort will leave in our power structure.” Everyone looked a Loony Lovegood with shock at the coherence and poignancy of the statement.
“You are right Luna.”
“I know,” she dreamily answered.
Harry continued the conversation by baring all his abuse, misadventures of the past years, he explained why the members of the DA put their lives unnecessarily on the line in the Department of Mysteries for a false prophesy and his godfather’s innocence and pointless death. The silence in the room was deafening. Glasses of water appeared around the table in front of all the members of the DA and they almost simultaneously drank. He looked to Slytherins in the room and saw only the impassive faces he expected for the secretive house members.
Neville was the first to speak up, “But where are Ron and Hermione?”
“They were planted by Dumbledore to keep tabs on me and control the information I received. He didn’t want me thinking for myself.” Harry sneered at the image of the wrinkled old codger in his mind.
“So say we, and by that I mean Severus and I, believe you, since this lot has looks like their ready to storm Hogwarts now, what are your plans?” Draco asked. His look of contempt for the others over their instant belief making people frown.
“Harry’s a hero and honest as they come. He stood up for me against both you and Professor Snape, Malfoy.” Neville vehemently defended Harry.
“Slytherin’s don’t count on honesty, we count on proof, none of your little club here can fight against Voldemort and his lot and win.”
Neville pulled his wand and the room transformed, placing Draco and he in circle. Draco sneered as the supposedly clumsy boy of years past and went to move out of the circle, but was repelled, rather violently, back into the middle of the circle.
“Fine, let’s see how you do against a deatheater’s son.” Draco launched the first curse, a nasty one from the looks of the rune pattern and angry red color, to Harry delight. Harry smiled when Neville erected a strong shield that repelled the spell back at Draco in an instant; the only thing saving the blond was the knowledge of the counter-curse. Neville took the opportunity to cast a jelly leg hex and disarming spell. He walked over to the now defenseless Slytherin and pointed his wand right between his eyes and cast a stupefy. The table returned and Draco was left to lay on the floor as everyone but Snape took their seats again, congratulating Neville’s quick victory.
Snape cast an enervate, but left Draco to recover on the ground. He regained his seat and for the first time that any witness can account to he looked positively on Neville Longbottom. “If school were in, Mr. Longbottom, I would award points for that show of competency.” Neville was proud enough to blush. “However, Draco is exactly what he said, he is the son, not the man, not a deatheater. You will not win the war with such speed against his forces, especially the magical creatures that he has added to his ranks.” Severus saw marked apprehension return to the other students faces.
“How do you know Professor?” Seamus asked.
Luna chimed in again, “Because he is Dumbledore’s spy on the inside of Voldemort camp, am I right Harry?” She smiled pleasantly as the room gasped.
“Yes, Luna, but he can be trusted implicitly.”
“Naturally.” She replied, “We trust you Harry and are ready to stand by your side.”
Severus sat scowling at the pale blond girl, he turned to Harry, “I assume you intend to solicit unbreakable vows from them?”
“When you all spoke the password to be transported here it acted as an unbreakable vow, even for you Severus. Your protect means something to me.” Harry looked deeply into the man’s eyes.
Remus finally decided to join the conversation, “Severus makes a good point how do think that students even trained as they are can openly win against an army of deatheaters and Merlin knows what else?”
“They can’t and we will not be fighting head on, not now anyway. The final battle and the death of Moldyshorts,” Harry smiled along with a few others, “is I can assure you much farther away than Dumbledore would like to think. Am I right Severus?”
“You are correct.” He narrowed his eyes at the cunning he saw in the boy’s eyes.
“Voldemort will consolidate his forces and try to terrorize the populace. It has worked for him thus far. People are running scared, they are not rallying; they are waiting.”
“For what Harry?” Cho asked.
“Me. They are waiting for a barely seventeen year old to fight against a fully grown, fully realized dark wizard.”
“So what do you plan to do if not fight?” Remus asked confused at Harry’s words.
“Oh, we will fight, just not seen. I got the idea from a documentary my muggle relatives were watching, I don’t really think they knew it was real life, I think they liked that it had scenes of blood and carnage. I am talking about guerilla warfare. It will be sometime before we can consolidate our forces, the same for Voldermort. He is trying to conquer, not simply kill a boy and an old man.”
“How is it, Mr. Potter, that you can understand the logical progression of the Dark Lord’s plans and not Albus Dumbledore?” Snape asked.
Harry grinned at the man, “I got rid of some much needed baggage and a nice magic inheritance helped my mind reorder itself.” Harry barely caught the spell being cast silently in Severus’ mind. He smirked at the Potions Master as his spell hit a brick wall.
“Impressive.”
“You weren’t just snogging in that room Umbridge busted you in, were you?” Draco lifted himself off the ground. “I’m in, if you could teach Longbottom to duel like that, on the spot, I am putting my lot in with you.” He sat back down and rested his head on the table. Harry didn’t bother to answer.
“When do we start?” Dean Thomas had an eager look in his eye.
Stacks of 5 pieces of parchment appeared in front of all but Remus, Severus, and Draco. “You all are tasked with finding five others, who you think are true to the cause. Do not worry about giving yourselves away, the pieces are spelled much the same as the originals I sent out to you all, but they will only let you know whether to trust the individual or not and bind them if they are trustworthy. We start when term begins. The same pieces you received before will be the means of communication and meeting locations. Thank you for your support.” Harry stood and began to hug each of his house mates and Luna. A house elf arrived to show them out. He stopped Severus and Draco, and asked Remus to stay for a visit. The werewolf readily agreed.
When the room was clear Harry closed his eyes and the room was much smaller and resembled an office. It contained a large mahogany desk with a high back chair, and in front it had two comfortable looking arm chairs. He motioned for Draco and Severus to have a seat, while he perched on the edge of the desk.
“Professor, I need you to give some information of the inner circle. I can gather information remotely but I want to make sure I am not putting you in more danger by using information that can lead to back to you as a spy. The skirmishes I have planned will help to make Voldemort fear his own shadow as a spy.”
Snape leaned forward and Harry leaned too, without thought matching the man’s movements. Snape noticed, but spoke his original intent, “I agree, however I would still like to make you privy to all the information I provide the Headmaster and any that might help you.” Harry nodded his acceptance.
“I would be grateful for that.” He took a breath and continued, “Thank you, you have an open invitation to the Manor should you require it. Simply apparate to the room you were transported before. The wards here are nasty, you should wait to be greeted before trying to enter the main part of the manor. Thank you for coming.”
“I have a request Mr. Potter?” Harry nodded, “My home is now a safe haven for certain deatheaters and I would rather have a break from my…house guests.”
“You are welcome, Sir. When will you be returning?”
“This evening after coming up with a sufficient cover for my disappearance. I will be bringing potion supplies, is there a place here?”
“Jiminy,” the elf appeared almost instantly, “is there a potions lab in the manor?”
“Yes Master, it is located in the Slytherin guest house.”
“Slytherin guest house?” Harry queried.
“Yes the three guest houses are named for each other founder.”
“Thank you Jiminy, Professor Snape shall be returning this evening-,” Harry was cut off by a sound from Draco. He turned to the other boy.
“I am in need of the same kindness, Po-Harry.”
“So will Mr. Malfoy, can you have rooms made up to house them for an extended stay?”
“Yes, Master Harry.” The elf popped away and Severus took his leave.
Harry was left in the room with Draco. Harry did not know whether it was some perverse pleasure or drive to want to fight with the boy in front of him but he opened his mouth, “I didn’t not give you leave to use my given name.” He put false scorn into the statement. Draco was taken aback and looked hard into Harry’s eyes. A slight smirk appeared curling the right side of the handsome blond’s face.
“Well, I had thought I might lay our differences aside since I would be housed here, Potter, but I won’t bother niceties again.” A strong image assailed Harry’s mind from the blonds.
“Tsk, tsk, Malfoy, with Severus as your Godfather your mental shields would be better.”
“Suck my cock, Potter.”
“No, you suck mine, Draco.” Harry waved his hands, spelling his pants off, and revealed his full arousal to the blond boy. Draco closed his eyes for a moment and opened them back up to looked peeved.
“I wanted a bed.”
“And I wanted the desk. My room, my rules, now get to work.”
Draco immediately fell to his knees and swallowed the turgid length. Harry arched into the blond’s throat and groaned. Draco set a worshipful pace, emptying his mouth only to fully swallow Harry again. Harry braced himself on the desk and enjoyed the skills of the Malfoy heir. He moaned Draco’s name and the boy chuckled in satisfaction and Harry grabbed the back of Malfoy’s head and slammed in and came. The blond swallowed every bit of fluid coating the inside of his mouth and throat. Harry didn’t even have the satisfaction seeing a drip of come ooze from the sides, out of Draco’s mouth. Harry leaned limply against the desk and watched as Draco began to remove his clothing.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
“I am disrobing; what does it look like, Potter?”
“Don’t you need to make your excuses too and get clothes?”
“No, I am sufficiently supplied with a wardrobe. I left home a week ago. I do not need to go anywhere.”
“In that case, fuck the desk. I got something better in mind for you.”
Harry hurriedly respelled his pants on and ushered Draco out the door and to the nearest bathing room. As he threw open the door, a predatory gleam sparked within his eye, as he spotted a naked and bathing Remus Lupin.
