Well, here it is at long last, Chapter 8, sorry for the long delay, the plot bunnies ran away to lay easter eggs and i was stuck doing this chapter with no muse *Glares at muse*

Anyhow enjoy. And thanks once again to my reviewers they make me smile.

Chapter 8 - Of angry witches and lemon drops

Lucius Malfoy had caught up with Severus Snape to see a shocking sight, there on the ground was the remains of the astronomy tower. The once majestic tower lay in ruins bricks and rubble were spewed across the lawn.

Harry's eyes were opened incredulously, he could not believe what he was seeing, and Blaise was not much better off either, nor were the professors. Not that anyone could blame them, magical damage to this extent was rare unless it was deliberate.

Lucius was the first to snap out of shock, turning to address the headmaster he made an offer to have a team of magical architects come and inspect the damage, however to his complete surprise it was not the headmaster who answered him. In fact before the headmaster could even open his mouth Harry had taken him up on his offer.

Lucius made a mental note to have to have a very long talk with his lover, he was completely intrigued as to the boy who lived's answer. Albus on the other hand looked dejected and tired.

Blaise seeing the reactions of the staff could not hold back from giggling any longer. Blaise was clutching his sides trying to breath normally. Harry just smiled at him thinking about how beautiful Blaise's laugh was.

A few weeks later Harry was pacing in the entrance hall very nervous. In just a few moments his DADA professor and Magical Theory professor would be arriving just a week away from the start of term.

Harry was very nervous about the start of term, he had received Molly Weasley's letter, and though her words had warmed his heart he was hurt by her youngest children’s betrayal, though thinking about it he had always expected it of Ronald Weasley.

Two weeks prior the magical architects thanks to Lucius Malfoy had arrived and begun repairs to the castle. Harry was thinking about hiring them full time as they were doing a splendid job of fixing the place up, despite the astronomy tower only being half fixed.

Harry was startled by a loud knock upon the main doors, reaching out with his magic he made them open on their own. In stepped through the door a man and a woman, the woman had brilliant violet eyes and a slender figure, the man had sparkling hazel eyes and a toned body, they were both radiating power.

Harry formally greeted them before inviting them to meet the headmaster, to which they accepted. The three walked up to the headmasters office, without even knocking Harry slammed the doors open dramatically causing Albus to jump and choke on a lemon drop before spitting it out. 'Darn', Harry thought, 'he didn't choke to death'.

“Headmaster, our new professors are here”, Harry intoned with a bored tone. The woman tittered lightly and the man looked amused. The headmaster just looked put out, his eyes watering from having almost choked to death on his favorite candy.

The man stepped forward and introduced himself as Staggers, the woman introduced herself as Flora. The headmaster greeted them both cordially, however it was clear from his pinched expression that he was very unhappy. Harry inwardly grinned at that.

“Welcome to you both”, Harry grinned, “And now if you will follow me I will show you both to your quarters”. Harry motioned with his arm for them to follow him as he said this.

After showing the new professors to their quarters Harry walked back to his own where he knew Blaise would be waiting for him so that they could go shopping for their school books and supplies for the upcoming year. Harry smiled to himself, he was feeling wonderfully happy that he had Blaise.

Walking into his quarters he was suddenly ambushed by said boy and pushed to a wall before being thoroughly kissed. Harry gasped at the sensations running through his body, knowing though that they needed to get a move on shopping Harry pushed Blaise gently from him and grinned.

Blaise smirked at his lovers dazed expression, before grabbing his hand and pulling him out of the door. Harry blushed as Blaise led him up to the headmasters office from there they would floo to Diagon alley.

With a whoosh and a resounding thump Harry found himself sprawled across the floor of the Leaky Cauldron where he had fell out of the floo network. Blaise having gone before him was currently busy laughing his behind off at the sight his boyfriend made. Harry shot him an evil glare.

Blaise gave Harry a hand up, once Harry had dusted himself off they made their way out back to the brick wall that was the entrance of the alley. They were just making their way into Flourish and Blotts when a loud screech made Harry wince.

“HARRY JAMES POTTER”!! the voice screeched. Harry swirled around and came face to face with a very angry looking Hermione Granger, if it were not for the amused glint in her eyes he would have run straight to Voldemort and asked him to avada him. “Erm... hi Mione”, he mumbled.

Hermione was beside herself, she was livid that she had heard so little from her best friend. She had even gone as far as to give herself a new mantra of 'keep calm and let him explain before shouting'. Then she saw him entering the bookstore, “HARRY JAMES POTTER”!! 'Ah darn there went that plan' she silently fumed.

After she had hit Harry over the head a few times with her new copy of Hogwarts: A History, she made her way into the store with him rapidly asking questions and receiving very few answers to her annoyance. However just as she was about to grill him even more Blaise stepped in and took hold of Harry's hand, this caused her eyes to narrow suspiciously.

Harry gulped at the look on Hermione's face, he could practically see the cogs turning in her head. Making his way quickly through the store he bought the rest of his books. He made his way back over to Hermione explaining that he had the rest of his shopping to do, Hermione agreed to follow him and Blaise to gather their supplies.

By the time Harry was done explaining everything to Hermione it was already nightfall, having already eaten at the Leaky Cauldron Harry and Blaise floo'ed back to Hogwarts whereas Hermione caught the knight bus back to her parents house.

That night when Hermione went to bed she spent over three hours contemplating one Harry James Potter.

That night when Blaise and Harry went to bed, Blaise pulled Harry into his arms and held him tightly, and kissed his forehead, Harry smiled drifting off to sleep, Blaise looking down on him lovingly.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and will try and get the next one uploaded sooner, however im uploading as i write so hopefully my muse will be forgiving.
