"What's the point of fighting when you can't win? How does this all end Miss Granger. Maybe I should get young Malfoy in here. Hmm...would you like that?" She shakes her head. " Think I can't do it? Oh but I can." He ties her wrist up. He picks up the wire and spreads her legs apart. Starts to whip her pubis bloody with the belt. She screams. "But maybe you would like your father in here instead. You think he would be excited to see you. Maybe he would enjoy himself. He would be just sitting down to a spot of telly and toast just about now. Want me to have him brought back here. Hmm? Maybe mother dear as well. Answer me Miss Granger.” Bane barks out.
“NO!!!” she growls
“How does this end?" She shakes her head and starts crying. He smack her pubis several times using the wire now. She screams bloody murder and answers. "I don't know!" But that's not good enough for him. He spreads her vaginal lips apart and begins to whip across them with the wire. The pain crawls inside her very soul. She is ripping her throat apart tying to scream louder than it is capable of.
All of the sudden he seems to get startled. Bane leaps to his feet rushing to the window. A look of panic as he tries to dash back but there is Hermione swaying bravely standing between him and his flight despite the pain. Blood and semen running down between her thighs. The mirror shows her whole body covered in bruises and marks. Her thighs bleeding from the recent whip marks to them. He quickly dashes, she grabs at his head but he grabs her throwing Hermione aside into the dresser her ribs break at the blow. A place in the mirror cracked were her head hits it. She crumbles to the floor. Just before Bane hits the door to the living area the front door blast open and in roars Ron his face and neck as red as his hair. Harry right behind him casting a stunning spell which misses hitting the doorway. Splinters of wood flying in all directions. Bane disappears around the corner. Ron stops at Hermione falling on his knees to the floor beside her. Harry jumps over him heading out into the living room in pursuit of Bane.
"It's ok. Mione'. I am here." Ron kisses her blooded forehead and gently lifts her up to the bed. His face horror stricken as he looks down upon her. He starts to heal her face with his wand "It will be alright." He strokes her face he just healed. Untieing her wrists and her ankle there are marks sunk into them and bruises deeply from the ropes. Hermione has her eyes open but does not speak. Her breath slows and then quickens as she begins to sob tear flowing from her eyes.
"Ron!___ Harry yells from the other room. He sits there putting Hermione's head to his shoulder holding her stroking hair and rocking her.
___Ron! grab Hermione and lets get out of here. He got away and will probably be back with reinforcements." Harry shakes Ron.
"We need to get out of here. Now!" Ron folds Hermione in a sheet from the bed and carries her bridle style out the door.
They manage to get back to Grimmauld's Place. Thinking it best not to bring Hermione back into the Burrow just yet. Ron carries her inside Harry watching for any signs of someone following them. Kingsley comes out of the kitchen to see who has entered.
"My word what in thunder has happened?" he says taken aback at the sight of them. Lupin opens the door and Tonks rush out from a room wand at the ready.
"Give her here. I'll take her upstairs see what I can do for her." Lupin says. Ron is reluctant to hand her over he looks down at her she has her eyes closed. Cuddled tightly into his flannel shirt. He hands her to Lupin then his knees start to buckle he needs to sit down.
"Merlin's Beard!" Shacklebolt replies as part of the sheet flows off showing Hermione's condtion. Kingsley quickly grabs his robe. Leaving in a puff of green smoke.
Ron treks into the kitchen. Missing the chair with his hand. Tonks quickly helps him to the kitchen table and Lupin goes rushing up the stairs with Hermione.
"What happened?" Tonks ask him and Harry enter the kitchen. Ron muttering to him self he should have never let her storm off alone.
"She'll be alright Ron. She's safe now." Harry put his hand on his shoulder. Giving it a squeeze.
Harry turns to Tonks. "Hermione was captured by Death Eater's. If it was not for her wand dropping with a paper attached we wouldn’t have had much a chance. We would have spent too much time finding her. She could have been... They had taken her across to the south of the North America. What's happened has just been in the last 8 hours." Harry states sadly.
Lupin enters the kitchen.
"Is she going to be alright?" Ron ask. Tears flowing down his cheeks.
"She will but I need you to go examine her further Tonks."
"Why?" she starts to say more but he lifts his hand to silence her.
He takes her aside were only she can hear.
"She has been raped. I don't want to upset her further. She's in the second room upstairs down the hall left." Tonks nods and heads out.
"I gave her a few healing potions, a calming draught ,and cast some charms. She should be alright after some rest. Any idea what happened to her."
"It was the Death Eaters professor. We saw them just beyond the barrier and then they took off. When Ron remembered Hermione had stormed off we went to look for her. We were not able to get much out of Hermione about what happened after. Who was involved. " Harry does not look up from his hands crossed in front of him on the table. Looking tired and angry.
"Well just let her rest. I will contact Molly tell her your here and safe." Lupin heads for the door.
"Professor don't tell my mom what has happened. I think the last thing Hermione needs is her smoothing presence right now. Bloody arrogant, bastards how, why..not like they have to have a reason to do this. I don't know what I do if...Because of me." he swears with a sob.
Harry slaps Ron on the shoulder.
Lupin nods. Walks back up to them he pats the boys on the shoulder. He leaves out the door. Harry sits there a while comforting Ron.
Tonks enters the kitchen.
"She'll be alright. Just needs some rest. She had some broken ribs and a broken finger. No concussion. Will be healed up in a days time. How about you two are you going to be alright?" She asks.
"Well, I am not the one upstairs looking like they just been whipped and beat half to death. Now a'm I." Ron says angrily and storms out the room.
"Sorry bout that Tonks." as Harry takes off after Ron but does not catch up before Ron slams a door in his face across from Hermione's room upstairs. Half the next day passes Hermione wakes up in a canopy bed. She hopes this is real because to awake back in that nightmare would be horrible. Tonks brings lunch in.
"Hello, see your awake. Brought you something to eat." she looks at her with sympathy. Then makes a silly face and snorts.
Hermione laughs.
Ron visits after a day passes. He is the last to do so. He sits there holding her hand. He assures her he is here for her. Neither one of her boys can look her in the face. Hermione felt ashamed for days. She had days. At times her crying was uncontrollable. Although looking back on this later Hermione thinks she made out better then the Death Eaters did. She sums up what happened leaving out the part about Voldemort's daughter. Just that they planned to use her to get at the Order. Lupin insist that the Elijah Bane name was made up. It was a phantom during his time. More likely it was one of the other death eaters maybe Greyback or one of the others with an appetite for rape hiding behind the specter of an old bogeymen legend. Even Sirius had his doubts about the character and he was more serious about the subject then the rest of them. Explained Lupin.
The man was just a phantom in the night.
