Chapter 8
Sirius was sitting at the table with Snape.
"Morning Siri, Snape."
"Morning Harry." Sirius answered.
"Harry please call me Severus, when we are alone."
"Okay I will try Severus."
"Okay Harry, I would like to talk to you after you eat something, if that is alright?"
"Yeah thats fine." Harry sat there eating and thinking about what Severus would say. Harry was startled out of his thoughts by Tilly popping in.
"Master Harry, Mister Snape is waiting for yous in the library. He says please come soon."
"Okay thank you Tilly. Would you please tell him I am on my way." Tilly bowed and popped back out. Harry got up put his plate and cup in the sink and walked to the library. When he got there he knocked.
"Come in." Harry heard. Harry walked in and sat in one of the overstuffed chairs.
"Harry I think we should talk about what has happened the last five years."
"Okay I have a question. Why did you hate me so much?"
"Harry.... I never have hated you. What I am going to tell you is not an easy thing to say."
"What is it?" "Harry I loved you like a son the moment you were born. Your mother and I were best friends growing up. Even after she married James. We talked about everything. I don't think you know this but Sirius is only one of your Godfathers." Harry just sat there staring.
"What do you mean he is only one? I thought he was the only one?"
"No Harry, very few people know this, because if Voldemort ever found out he would use it against the both of us. I am your other Godfather."
"Blimey, who else knew?" "Well your parents obviously, myself, and Dumbledore. Harry you never should have gone to Petunia's. Yes before you ask, I knew her also. But with Sirius locked up in Azkaban and myself having the dark mark, neither of us could get you." Harry just sat there thinking. He couldn't believe he had trusted Dumbledore so much.
"Well thank you for telling me Severus. But you didn't really answer my question. Why did you pretend to hate me. Even when we were alone?"
"Harry I had to keep up with appearances. Please forgive me, everytime I had to do something horrible to you it took everything I had to not try and make it up to you."
"Don't worry Severus I understand about keeping up with appearances."
"What do you mean Harry?"
"Well I was originally suppose to be in Slytherin when I first went to Hogwarts. On the train ride to school, I realized that everyone was expecting me to be this 'Gryffindor Golden Boy'. So this whole time there has been a snake in the lions den. I never really fit in with those idiots."
Severus sat there listening and thinking. The more he thought about it the more it made since. It he thought about all the little things he had never thought about before. Like the fact that no matter the situation Harry always seemed to get out of it. Harry interrupted his train of thought.
"By the way don't be surprised if I am in Slytherin when I get resorted. Also plan on retesting for all my classes. I haven't been doing as well as I could in them and that is going to change."
"Harry why in the world would you do bad in your classes on purpose?"
"Well it would be very smart of me if I wanted to keep up with the little Innocent Gryffindor act wouldn't it?"
"No I don't suppose it would. Now Sirius told me you had a question about the homework I assigned for summer."
"Yeah. I have looked all through the book and I can't figure it out. For the essay you told us to find the theories but I couldn't find them."
"It's ok Harry I have another book that has it in there. I will give it to you later okay."
"Okay thanks Severus. Oh there was a couple of other things I wanted to ask you about." Harry said shyly.
"Okay Harry ask away."
"Okay first can you tell who this is from? They have been writing to me. Is there some kind of spell to tell me who it is?"
"No there isn't one to tell you who its from. But maybe if you let me look at them, we could figure it out." Harry handed over the last letter he had received. Severus read through it and tried not to smirk. He knew who it was from by the handwriting. He would have to speak with Draco. For now he would keep Draco's secret.
"Well Harry I have an idea who it is from, but it is not my place to tell you who he is."
"Oh come on Severus please."
"No Harry. Was there anything else you wanted to talk about?"
"Fine don't tell me. Yeah there was one more thing."
"Okay what is it?"
"WellIhadasexdreamaboutMalfoy." Harry said very fast.
"Harry I didn't catch that. You will have to slow down and speak up a little." Even though Severus knew what Harry had said. He had a similar conversation with Draco.

"I said I had a sex dream about Draco Malfoy. And I have no idea what I am suppose to do. Will you help me?"
"Of course I will Harry. Well I will help you as much as I possibly can that is. As far as what it means is that you most likely like Draco. But as what to do about it is completely up to you. I cannot tell you what to do in this case."
"How does that help me? Should I try to be his friend first?"
"Personally I would try to be his friend first. Then take your time and get to know him, then you will figure out what to do from there."
"Okay thanks Severus."
"You are welcome Harry. You can come to Sirius or myself if you have any concerns about anything." Severus got up, pulled Harry up and hugged him. Harry was shocked at first. Sirius was the only one who hugged him anymore. Slowly Harry relaxed and hugged him back. Severus left to find Sirius, and Harry went out to the pitch to think. There was a lot of information that Severus had shared with him.
In a different part of the manor Sirius and Severus were talking about everything that had be said.
"Love I know who is sending Harry those letters."
"Who is it Sev? They aren't trying to hurt Harry are they?"
"Love calm down and breath. No he is not trying to hurt Harry. He has loved Harry since before they met. I know this for a fact."
"Okay, who is it Sev?"
"I will tell you but you have to promise to stay calm."
"Okay Sev. I promise to stay calm."
"It's Draco. We used to talk about Harry all the time. But of course when we were alone. Never when Narcissa was around."
"God Severus I thought you were going to say someone else."
"So you are not upset that it is Draco?" "Of course not. Actually I'm glad. If everything works out then Draco will know me better, and be closer to you too." Severus smiled and hugged Sirius.
"So Sev did you tell Harry who was writing to him?"
"No love, if Draco didn't tell him then I won't. It's not my place to tell Harry who it is. When Draco wants him to know who it is, he will tell him."
"Okay Sev. I just know its driving Harry nuts, not knowing who is writing to him. So what did you guys talk about?"
"About his dream and if I knew who was writing him. I think I saw him go out to the Quidditch Pitch."
"Yeah he goes out there when needs to think. Most of the time he comes in covered in sweat and dirt. He is so much like James." Sirius said with a sad look.
"I know love, but lets go get something to eat."
"Okay. I'm gonna go tell Harry so he doesn't worry."
"Okay see you in the library when you are finished." Sirius kissed Severus and ran out the door to the pitch.
