“I can’t wait to be home again with Hermione” Loki told Thor about three weeks after the start of the game “This is taking entirely too long”
“Just promise when you get home to keep her emotions in check” Thor told him looking at his pregnant wife “We have eight confirmed pregnancies including Sif”
“But that’s a good thing, right?” Loki asked, confused by the other mans tone “We need to keep this world going and before what happened, happened there had been some difficulties with the number of guards and townspeople”
“Yes but...” The blond man looked off towards the sky that was bright and blue “I’m just...”
“Scared?” Loki sneered.
“Like you weren’t?” Thor snapped “Like you weren’t terrified to meet Lidia?”’
“I want you to be happy with what I am about to say because it is going to make me sound like an afterschool program, okay?” Loki looked at him raising a brow “You get to experience something I didn’t, you get to see your baby born, take its first steps and say its first words. You are scared now because something new is always terrifying but you will learn the right and wrong things to do, don’t worry”
“Parenting advice from a man who set his daughter on fire to teach her a lesson?” Thor asked with a laugh.
“How did you know about that?!” Loki’s usually pale cheeks tinted pink at the memory “Not even Hermione knows about that”
“I would hope not” His brother laughed “She would likely kill you if she did know”
“It was...a time out of sorts” Loki defended himself with a sniff “The flames wouldn’t have hurt her at all. They were meant to contain her to one spot while she was in her time out and it worked”
“Okay, okay” Thor answered “Whatever works, right?”
“Yes” Loki glared at him “How is Hermione feeling today?”
“She’s good” Thor answered reaching out slightly with his bond to get the full account of her emotions “She’s happy, Remus makes her laugh” He cocked his head to the side “Just one thing?”
“What?” Loki asked.
“Is he usually with her in the shower?” Thor asked.
“WHAT?!” Loki’s eyes flared and nearly turned red with the thought of another man seeing his woman naked.
“I’m joking, I’m joking!” Thor held his hands up and stepped in front of his angry brother “They are not in the shower naked”
“Good” Loki snapped.
“Their swimming” Thor answered “Lidia is with them. She’s happy, so isn’t Hermione”
“How is the situation with Luna?” Loki asked.
“Luna is beside herself with anger and is an inch from telling Hermione the truth” Thor answered “Should be any day now”
“Good” Loki answered.

Lidia would be attending school soon. She would be gone six hours out of the day, however thanks to Luna and her meddling instead of making love to Loki all day like Hermione originally had planned she would be hanging out with Remus. She didn’t mind hanging out with him and liked having him live with her now that he and Tonks were separated (like they did at least once every two years) but she missed her man.
“Remus” She said “The full moon is coming up. Will you be changing here or at home?”
“In the woods here” He answered “Dora and I are still fighting”
“So why exactly did you two break up...this time?” She asked with a grin.
“Dora is spending too much time at work” He answered “It’s the reason we broke up last time too”
“Do you need my help?” She asked.
“No” He told her “You’ve already got enough on your plate. Not including sexual tensions...” He wiggled his brows at her “Wanna have a go-round?”
“Maybe later stud-muffin” She answered “I miss Loki”
“I know” He answered, turning his head he watched Lidia. She had turned in to quite the little actress those past few days, she made Luna feel absolutely horrible about her problems causing Hermione and Loki to break up. Lidia would burst in to tears at certain times, hurl herself in to a temper tantrum at any given moment and then say terrible things to Luna. More than once the blond returned Lidia and burst in to apologetic tears before running away sobbing pathetically.
“Hermione” Luna’s voice cut through the comfortable silence, it was shaky and she could tell that the other woman was nervous “Can I speak to you...alone?”
“Yes” She answered pulling herself out of the water and walking over to her “Hold on” With a smirk on her face she told Remus to bring Lidia back to the house, promising that she would be in in a little bit. She and Luna walked around the yard for a few minutes before the blond spoke up.
“So” She said looking at Hermione “How’s it going?”
“I miss him” Hermione answered right away, not at all lying about that “I just want him home”
“I am so sorry” Luna looked at her with tears in her eyes “I didn’t mean...we never meant for this...” She gestured around yard and then dropped her hands down “You are going to hate me”
“I won’t” Hermione said “I promise”
“Ron and I were worried about you two” She admitted and Hermione internally sighed “We decided to...to pretend to be having marital problems so that you would focus all that spare time you spent fighting on helping the two of us” She let out a small sob “I never thought that you two would break up because of our lie!”
“We didn’t” Hermione told her catching her by surprise “I figured out your lie right away. We decided to give you a taste of your own medicine, teach you to stop trying to always save us and allow us to either soar or flop on our own”
“What?!” Luna glared at her “HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME?!”
“To you?” Hermione snapped her eyes flaring to life with an anger that she hadn’t realized that she held “You pretended to be close to a divorce to save someone else’s marriage!” She stepped closer “You are the one that needs to stick your nose in to other people’s private lives!”
“That’s what a friend does!” Luna snapped, it was a very rare moment when someone actually saw Luna Weasley become angry but that was what Hermione was seeing at the moment.
“A friend asks what’s wrong” Hermione hissed at her “A friend offers a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen to problems and advice not to fake a possible divorce!”
“A friend” Luna growled “Does whatever is necessary to make sure their friend is happy and healthy, no matter what could happen in the process”
“I think you’re in love with Loki” Hermione ground the words out from between her clenched teeth she wasn’t sure where the accusation had come from but to her at that moment it felt right. Luna was always there for Loki, talking to him, there were secret jokes they shared and things that she never understood between them “You love him”
“I love him as a friend” Luna answered “Nothing more”
“Yeah” Hermione said turning and walking away “Right”
A/N: I know this hasn’t been updated in a million years but I’ve been battling my depression. I hope that it’s an okay chapter, Loki will be coming home and Luna and Hermione will make up I just wanted a little anger and fighting to happen. How would you take to knowing that people were that strange while trying to help your relationship? Plus there has to be doubt in her mind you know just for fun! PLEASE REVIEW!!!!
