Harry had been getting slowly better through the next few weeks, but the headaches that he was having was causing the Mediwitch from releasing him. She was afraid that it was a damage of his magic aura and didn't want him to move in any way too quickly or by magic. She was always a friendly witch and Harry was being rather foul about being stuck in a mansion that wasn't his home, that it had nothing of his at all in the area that he could be familiar with. One particular day, two weeks later he threw a glass dish at the door as she was leaving cursing muggle words that he had heard Vernon use when he was growing up. There was shattering of wooden furniture and glassware, only when it had died down did Draco feel relieved. He did not enter the room however, on the opposite he found that at this time Harry had exhausted all of his efforts of movement and would soon be asleep. Behind the door, Harry could hear Draco's breathing but as he slid down the door trying to keep anyone from entering he felt tears roll down his cheeks. He wasn't where he belonged he was nothing but a hassle to everyone he knew. Hermione was coming to visit him so often but every time he saw those brown eyes, all he saw was pity and he would tell her to leave him. His bottom lip started to quiver as he started to cry a little more heavily, depression was weighing heavily on his broken heart.
If he hadn't of apparated with the dragon he could still be in hiding, away from everyone, trying to avoid the reality of living. Maybe he had wished secretly he would disappear and the dragon would be the last part of himself in the world but then why did he apparate to Draco Malfoy's house. It didn't help that Draco had two moods towards him Sympathy and what Harry would only be able to describe as hatred but not towards Harry persay. Though Harry couldn't figure out Malfoy, it was easy to read his long time friend. She was so easy to read just like the books she collects, she was most definitely an open book. Their last confrontation was only a couple hours ago and it was something Harry would regret later on.
'Don't come back, Hermione Granger, if you are going to share only your pity. You can't even tell me what's really going on in your life. are you sure you don't pity yourself.' He recalled what he has said, he almost sounded like a Malfoy and it tasted like ash the moment it left his lips. The words to him were worse than calling her a Mudblood, he saw her brown eyes started to wobble and tears welled on the long brown lashes that surrounded her eyes.
He was the worst type of scum, and he felt like he didn't deserve any help at all with being as depressed as he was. Tears hit his hands as they were curled on his lap before he moved into the fetal position and tried to just consume himself into a black hole. His head was pounding with excruciating pain, as if someone was using the cruciartus curse on him over and over again. Pity be damned. I'm getting out of here.

Draco's POV
He heard the other boy's breathing start to slow almost to a calming sort but he couldn't tell if he had fallen asleep or if he was trying hard to hear everything around the mansion. Taking his cue of walking away he moved to his study. His chair practically ate him as his strong posture sank and his feet hit his desk trying his hardest to forget the last few weeks of ups and downs, well at least the downs. There were moments where him and Potter could get along like they were best friends. Even one time they cooked and sat down for an entire meal together just to converse about everything in Hogwarts, in their lives, and their pasts. It truly seemed like they could get along until someone mentioned where they were, it was like a light switch.
Draco's eyes stared at the wall infront of him shifting faintly as he slid his feet off his desk just in time to see Hermione Granger looking like the devil herself standing in his doorway. If hair could be fire without burning, she definitely had hair of fire. He moved to stand straightening his shirt, waving at a chair. "Please sit."
"No, thank you. I am here to talk to you." She replied tartly.
"Would you care for something to drink. Coffee, Tea, Whiskey?" Draco tried to make small talk, he knew hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and much to his dismay he had been in earshot when he heard her and potter arguing. Small delicate hands marked with ink hit his desk with a loud slap.
"Malfoy..." She growled loudly. "I'm taking him home." She could see Draco take a deep breath before he turned to her to confront her.
"No, you are not."
"Don't you think I have a right to take him to where he is most comfortable?"
"No, you don't." he said sharply, only seeing fire spark between them.
"I have talked to the mediwitch about muggle transportation, and she told me if I made sure not to drive at any high speeds I could take him home." Hermione had gone behind his back to talk to someone he had hired to take care of the man he had fallen for since he was trying to figure out how to get out of the shadow of his father and during the time they were always playing on the quittich field. Draco started to think about the uniformed the Griffindors wore whilst on their brooms soaring the sky, he was always right behind Harry Potter as he searched for the snitch. He remembered smirking at him their first match right before Harry saw the snitch, and it wasn't cause he felt cocky, he had just thought of some rather inappropraite thoughts for a young boy at his age and couldn't resist the smirk that appeared on his lips.
"I'm going to tell you in the best manner I can, Granger. The safest place for him is here, if you wish to stay here to make him feel more like home i have the space, bring his stuff, but until i know he is in full health. He is. not. leaving. my. home." He punctuated every word to make it very clear his hands were now on the desk as he started to lean towards her, eyes flashing just as dangerous as hers were now.
"You can't keep him here." She said standing up face to face with Draco Malfoy, the last time she was this close to him she had reared back and punched him. Feeling the bone of his nose crunch under her fist, she thought itfelt better than getting an O on her O.W.L.s.
"I'm not trying to keep him prisoner. Hermione...Let me level with you." He grabbed his wand and very carefully moved to the computer he had gotten from a muggle shop and he had seen the usefullness of having one. He then had the Weasley twins take it apart and make it magical and even more useful. It had taken a while to get used to but he was soon able to use it to view his peremiter and each room to know what anyone was doing in his home at any point. He didn't want to see what was going on so he turned the screen waving his wand so it went to Harry's room where he sat curled in a ball, head in his hands as he sobbed. Hearing Hermione's gasp he assumed he had been correct on what was going on.
"He isn't happy here. I know that, and you do as well. When something tramatic happens like this where we feel useless, we don't want those we are closest to to see the weakness." Draco turned away from her as he spoke rubbing his arm where he had the mark of weakness forever seared into his flesh.
"Malfoy..." But her words were cut off by his hand coming up to stop her.
"You'll either listen to me or not." Hermione reluctantly nodded at the severness in his tone, putting his hand down he continued. "I want him healthy as much as you do, he is so much to me." He paused at his own words "What I mean is he has agreed to help me with estates that Voldemort occupied and tear them down. I need him healthy before I can proceed. The best thing for Harry, not that he thinks so, is to stay here. Bring his stuff, bring all that will make him at home, change the room whilst he is sleeping to his favorite colors his furniture. Actually you know what... Change the entire mansion to make him more at home if you want." Draco stood and looked into her eyes seeing something in them he didn't recognize his blonde brows furrowed visibly.
"I..You... You really care about him." Hermione said in a soft tone all anger fused out sitting in the chair. "That's why you wont let him leave. You're in the same boat as me. Alright Malfoy, I'll do it. But do not think for one second I wont drag him off this property if I don’t think he is getting all the care he needs to get better.
Draco looked completely stunned at Hermione's words no one had told him so bluntly he actually cared, maybe he could get past the cold death eater rumor after all. He almost felt like he had come to the same level as the know it all. He sat down across from her as they discussed how to make his mansion feel more like home to Harry Potter.
