Chapter 8 - Options

Hermione

“Malfoy?” I repeated shocked as Ginny and I sat in my room at Number 12. “Yeah. I mean, Mione, you know I have no problem with trying new things. But Malfoy? What is Harry thinking?” She asked. “Well I mean it is an option for a threeway, and what are the chances Malfoy will say anything.” I answered thoughtfully.

“I don’t know how I feel about it. Speaking of, where are you on the threesome front?” Ginny asked. “I don’t know. Bill really pressed the matter about me sleeping with Sirius. So I’m wondering if maybe seeing how we work together may help? But how would I even go about this?” I asked. “You might not have to. Knowing Bill, he’s probably already spoken to Sirius about it.” Ginny murmured.

“What?” I yelped. “Bill thinks things through before doing anything. Which means….” Ginny trailed off. I was quiet, biting my bottom lip. “Maybe approach Sirius and see if you can steer the conversation that way.” She shrugged.

I was quiet before nodding, I could do that. “Are you and Bill serious?” Ginny asked after a few seconds. “We’ve talked about it, he wants to wait until Ron is in Switzerland. He thinks a fight will start once we announce it.” I explained. “He’s not wrong,” she agreed. “Mum is still holding out hope for you and Ron, and if she thinks that someone stood in the way of that, which is how it will seem. It won’t end well.” She finished.

“Your not going to try out any more of the twins products today, are you?” I asked after a few minutes of silence. “I think I’ll pass for today,” she laughed.

By the time flooed back to number 12, it was dark. Stepping out into the library I glanced around before realizing it was empty. With a sigh, I flopped onto one of the soft chairs by the fireplace and let my mind wander.

Bill and I hadn’t been exclusive but we were exclusively sleeping with each other. Was he using the idea of having me sleep with Sirius as an excuse to sleep with someone else?

“Bookworm,” a voice murmured causing me to jump in surprise. I saw bills head in the fireplace his eyes on me. “Hey, I wasn’t expecting you to floo tonight.” I murmured. “Luckily they have things set up for floo calls. What’s got you looking so thoughtful?” He asked. I shrugged unsure of what to say. “Bookworm,” he growled.

“Bill, do you want to sleep with anyone else?“ I asked seeing his eyes widen in surprise. “What the hell would make you think that?” He asked a hint of anger lacing his voice l “no one, but we’ve been sleeping with each other exclusively and now you want me to sleep with Sirius, so I’m feeling a little unsure.” I breathed.

“Mione, Sirius is interested in you and my wolf knows it. It’s not that unusual, luv, especially among purebloods.” He answered. “Having three ways?” I asked. “Triads.” Bill answered. I sat there stunned. A triad? Was that what this was leading up to? “Mione, are you still with me?”

Nodding, I was quiet choosing my words carefully. “You’re considering a triad?” I asked. “No, I just said it’s a possibility, don’t worry bookworm.” He answered, his tone reassuring.

As soon as he was gone I was up and
Moving towards the liquor cabinet. I pulled out a bottle of Ogden’s finest fire whiskey and poured a tumbler which I quickly downed before refilling. Sighing I brought the bottle back to the chair with me.

Triads? I would have to look into them further, Bill said they weren’t unheard of but I couldn’t remember ever seeing one. I kept drinking until
I fell asleep in the chair.

“Mione, wake up, luv,” a familiar voice urged. “Go away,” I groaned. “How much of the bottle did you drink? Come on Mione, wake up,” the voice prodded. I cracked open an eye and saw Sirius looking at me in concern. I jerked forward almost falling from the chair before he caught me. “Here, luv, drink this,” he murmured handing me a fizzing green potion. “It’ll sober you up and then we can find out what’s got you in such a tizzy.” He assured.

Fifteen minutes later I was across from Sirius, sober and nervous. “What’s got you bothered, mione?” He asked after a few minutes. “What do you know about triads?“ I asked. Seeing his eyes widen before he smirked. “Why do you want to know?” He asked. I was quiet biting my bottom lip. Sirius leaned back in his chair his eyes on me.

“I’m guessing it has something to do with the red haired wizard your shagging,” he started, my eyes widening. “No…what…how?” I finally asked. “Animagus. Plus You and bill are fairly easy to read. To me at least.” He shrugged.

“Bill said that…you…that you’re…” I trailed off. “Attracted to you? I am.” He answered. “You never…said anything,” I murmured. “By the time I was ready to, you were already with Bill, I thought you were exclusive. Recently I spoke to Bill and he explained things better as well as confronting me about my attraction to you,” Sirius answered. “What did he say?” I asked. “That it was your choice. Minke I won’t force you into anything your not ready for or completely sure of. But I am attracted to you.”
He answered. “Enough to consider a triad?” I asked. He was quiet but gave a nod.

I was quiet before standing up, slowly I took a step towards him. He reached out his hands grabbing my hips and pulling me onto his lap. “Is this what you want?” He asked, cupping my face. I nodded before leaning forward and pressing my lips to his.
