He hopes this is the best way to tell Harry that he knows and he's not angry, they need to talk, but he's not angry nor is he going to turn him back on him.
Harrys tears stopped in shock. He sat up straight in the bed. He knew. He knew and he was still, wait. He knew yet he told him he loved him, and he could feel it. Harry really had no control over his body at that point. He was only in his socks, just in the trousers and white shirt he had worn all summer. His feet carried him as fast as they could go heading for the dungeons.
Severus closes the little book and puts it away ordering a cup of tea and starts to read a bit before bed.
Harry makes it to the entry to Severus's quarters. He had all summer to explore and so he knew where it was. He stood at the door with his tear stained face and knocked. He heard shuffling and the door opened. There he stood. They locked eyes as Severus stood in the inside of the door and Harry firmly planted on the outside of the door. "I" He started to say something but had no clue what to say.
Severus backs up opening the door wide and says "Well come in."
It takes a second for Harry to register this and finally enters trembling. "Severus" Harry said. "Listen" he was cut off
" You're JL, I know. What you could explain to me, since your here, is how exactly your hatred of me turned into wanting to court me? That's really the part that has me the most curious. Would you like tea?" He asks before sitting.
Harry blinks at the calm way Severus is reacting to this and nods, "May I sit here? He asked standing next to a chair
Severus nods, "Yes, I wouldn't invite you in and then expect you to stand." He orders a fresh tea tray with a second cup and then says. " Well I have to say I didn't expect you to hightail it here tonight, but it's surely not the first time you've surprised me. " He says
"You thought I would just leave it at that. I was surrounded by your love, I still am, yet you know who I am now. I'm sorry I kept it from you for so long. " he said taking a sip of tea and grimacing. "Have any of that brandy left?" He asked eliciting an odd look from the man. "Do you really think all I drank is butterbeer? I do look of age when I'm wearing the glamour. I didn't use it much until I began looking for small meaningful gifts for you, then I was out a lot more, which made Barney take a liking to me. I think alcohol would help this conversation." He said feeling a little less tense. He had to remember this was just Severus.
Severus sighs." If you tell anyone it won't be repeated." He says and summons the bottle of Brandy and spilling a healthy dose into each of their cups. " Cheers. " He says
"Cheers" Harry said sipping it, "Damn that is good" he said. "Listen, I never hated you, not really. I mean maybe the first two years a bit, but mainly because you hurt me, my feelings. But then I started to see how our lives lead a similar line, and I started to see you differently. By last spring, my feelings became strong. It was more than just attraction Sev. It was something deeper. I knew you would never accept me, Harry Potter me, not unless you got to know me first, and even then, I didn't know if it would work. If it hadn't been for Hermione helping me, I wouldn't have been able to. She's the first one to figure out I was gay before I even really realized it. I never intended to hurt you" Harry said taking another sip
Severus shakes his head, "You didn't, confused me yes, but not hurt. I thought you hated me; I suppose I was wrong. I started seeing you differently last year, but it's probably for the best you approached this way you're right had you done to me right out I would have turned you away simply because I didn't believe you. " He says.
"So now? How do you feel now that you know?" he asked
Severus frowns. " Well, still a bit confused to be honest. But not more or less than I was before I knew, it doesn't change anything if that's what you're asking, I wouldn't have said what I did tonight if it would have." He says. " Aren't you curious how I found out?" He asks.
"Yes, but I know it began with that damn bloody bird" Harry laughed softly. "As soon as it happened, I knew you would figure it out. Honestly I thought I would be in my dorms with a broken heart." He said taking another sip of the wonderful brandy. "I tried to give you as much honesty as I could. I do have to hide from people, and I have had Jace Logan for a while. Not only for fans but for protection as well." He said looking into the man's eyes from his own green ones this time
Severus nods," I figured as much I know you don't like being in the public eye and right now you do have a bullseye over your head and your right the bird was the initial tip off that made me start to put the pieces together, but then to see if I was right I tailed the owl I sent with your gift." He says
"You did?" he said. "Then you saw me take the gift." Harry's face softened a bit, feeling a bit more comfortable. They both had almost emptied their drinks and Harry sat up facing Severus. "So, if you still mean it" he said, "So do I" His eyes full of hope.
Severus chuckles," Well I'd hope you hadn't changed your mind within the space of twenty minutes. " He says. " Yes Harry, I still mean it. I think we need to get to know each other as ourselves, but I don't retract my agreement to be courted by you." He says
A smile crossed his face. "You never showed it to me" he said nodding toward Severus's wrist.
Severus smiles "I was waiting till you showed me." He says but cancels the spell keeping the gold circlet invisible.
"It's beautiful on you" Harry said leaning over to see it.
Severus smiles " I must say you went to quite the effort in your wooing." He says.
"I can't take total credit; I bought a few books to help." He said with a smile. "Even though I couldn't be with you I wanted you to know I cared. Plus, if I hadn't would you have ever thought it was anything but a sick joke?" he asked
Severus shakes his head, " No, probably not. But you did and I did and now here we are." He says
"I've loved you for a long time." He said holding out his hand between the armchairs. "Hold my hand while it's me?" He said shyly
Severus nods," I held you hand while it wasn't you." He says and reaches over
Another spark happens as they first touch just like before. Neither pulls back this time and they interlock fingers. "You shouldn't ever need to see Jace again" Harry said. He looked into Sev's dark eyes that shown a sparkle behind them.
Severus shrugs "As long as I don't see him when we're alone it doesn't matter who you go out as." He says and gives Harry's hand a squeeze.
They sat in silence like that for a few moments, just enjoying finally being each other.
It gets to be close to curfew and as much as he doesn't want to get stands and pulls Harry up. " You should head back to your dorm, but there was one thing I wouldn't do while you were JL that I said I would when you were you. " He says.
Harrys brow furrowed trying to think of what he meant
Severus chuckles softly and leaning in he says " this" he says before closing the distance and placing his lips on Harry's in a soft kiss.
Harry froze at first before leaning into the kiss feeling it go through his body like lightning.
Severus feels the spark and hums into the kiss appreciatively one arm going around Harry's waist.
Harry is shocked at what is happening. A warm arm wrapped around him and he instinctively wrapped his arms around Severus's neck, finally relaxing into the kiss and into Severus's body as their kiss depended but never sped up. It was the most intimate and sensual thing harry could ever imagine
After a long moment he pulls back but presses his forehead against Harry's, " I'm glad I could finally do that. " He says
Harry is breathless and stays silent for a moment. "It's really ok that it's me?" he said mildly.
Severus nods, " As shocked as I am to say this, yes, it's alright that it's you. You are not what I thought you to be, and I fell in love with the person who had been writing to me, the fact that that person is you is unexpected, but not unwelcome." He says.
"You're my world Severus, you have no idea how much those words mean" Harry said as few tears falling.
Severus smiles softly and wipes the tears away with his thumbs. " So now we can start to spend time with each other as ourselves. " He says.
Harry pulled him tightly towards him burring his face into Severus's shoulder. "Absolutely" Harry said smiling. He Kissed Severus on the check and stepped back.
Severus nods " For now, you should head to bed, but I'll see you tomorrow, alright?" And gives Harry another quick kiss before sending him off.
Harrys heart ached as he left even though he was almost skipping back to the common room. Hermione saw him come in in quite a state and stopped him. "Harry, are you ok?" she said pulling him to the side and speaking softly. Harry leaned in close to her ear. "He figured it out and then kissed me Mione." He said trembling with excitement.
She smiles," So he's accepted you, that's amazing Harry!" She says happily. " So, he kissed you... How was it?" She asks.
Harry closed his eyes. "Like perfection" he sighed "I don't know how to explain it, everything about it felt so right" he said to her.
She smiles, "Well I'm not surprised you have been pretty sure he was the one for a bit." She says. " I'm glad it's working out for you Harry. You should try to do something special with him for Christmas. " She says.
He looked up at her "Shit, Christmas, what should I do? Oh, gods I need to get my books" He went to get up and she sat him back down. "Harry sit. You have done everything right. You need to enjoy this feeling tonight. Think of everything it took to get here. We can worry about everything else later" She hugged him with one arm.
Severus sighs rubbing his fingers over his lips after Harry leaves. He was allured he couldn't deny it, that fact that it was Potter was quite the surprise, but he had learned a lot about how he thought and the kind of person he was through their letters and he had fallen for that person over the last few months. So now that he knew who it was, they could go about this more honestly.
Harry climbed the stairs and changed before plopping down on his bed and closing his curtains. He opened his journal.

Harry smiled and put it away for in the morning. Hopefully Severus wouldn't regret what happened. Harry cast a silencing spell on his bed and reached down to his very hard cock. He had never been turned on like that before and all he could feel was the electricity that came with it. He pulled his bottoms down a bit and rubbed the moisture over the head and began to stroke himself thinking of Severus's lips, his eyes. It didn't take long for harry to arch upcoming all over himself and his hand, whispering "Sev" as he did. After he cast a cleaning charm and rearranged his pants he covered up and smiled as he fell asleep.
