Author note: Due to demand, here is chapter eight. Oh, and thanks to reviewer Thursday for pointing out that Fred and George shouldn't be at school if Hermione's in her 7th year.
Sorry, minor mistake!
Chapter Eight
Hermione, tears streaming down her face, started to walk up the marble staircase.
"Hermione!" Ginny Weasly ran up to her. Hermione turned around and saw her, Fred and George looking at her apprehensively.
"We've heard about you and Snape. Malfoy spread it around the school like wild fire." George explained.
"Great." Hermione wiped her cheeks. At least they didn't know about her being pregnant. They'd think she was totally stupid.
"What made you like Snape?" Fred asked incredulously.
"Oh...does it matter?" Hermione snapped. She had to find Malfoy.
He'd pay for this. It wbviobviously him and his psychotic father who and put a spanner in the works. Hermione turned away from them and stomped up the marble staircase. She found Malfoy loitering outside the prefect bathrooms for some God only knows reason..
"I want a word with you Malfoy." Hermione stormed up to him.
"What Granger?" Draco turned to face Hermione.
"Why did your father tell Dumbledore?" She asked, trying to be patient.
"Well...What with your threat that you'd tell him about...you know..." Draco faltered. "So..."
"So...What Malfoy?" You just got Snape sent off to Durmstrang!" Hermione seethed.
"Yeah...Maybe just your loss." Malfoy hit back spitefully.
Hermione had to bite back her tears, she was not going to let Malfoy see her cry. She turned on him and ran off down the corridor, finding her way up to Gryffindor tower. Eventually getting to her room she flopped down on her bed and wept.
When she had finally finished feeling sorry forselrself, Hermione sat up and took a tissue from her bedside cabinet. She wiped her red eyes and blew her nose.
She was only a few weeks pregnant, but had still realised because of the morning sickness she'd been getting. What was she going to do? the the baby or get rid of it? It depended weather Snape still wanted her after he knew. She hoped he'd write.
* * *
It had been two weeks and Snape hadn't written. She would have written herself but didn't know where Durmstrang was. Even if it was in Germany, it was to risky in case it fell into the wrong hands. Thankfully her pregnancy didn't show, otherwise she'd be in even more trouble, and she'd had enough of that as it already was. The teacher seemed to be treating her differently and their Potions lessons had been taken over by Sirius Black, who didn't have a clue what, he was talking about. Harry and Ron now looked at her as if they had dee deeply betrayed and so she found herself in a state of deep confusion.
In the middle of the third week since Snape had left, Hermione got an owl delivery at breakfast. She never usually got any letters, so opened it with eager fingers. Sure enough it was from Snape.
Hermione,
I'm sorry I haven't written for some while, It's just that the teachers at Durmstrang have kept me under close surveillance. Matters are also rather complicated at present. Consequently I didn't get to write you a letter until last night.
I have considered your predicament and have come to a conclusion. You know I would never abandon you. You have to come and visit me. We need to talk. Come in the Christmas break. Get on the Hogwarts Express back to king's Cross and on the next flight to Germany. I have enclosed a map of how to get to Durmstrang castle.
Please reply.
All my love
Severus
Hermione felt tears of relief well up in her eyes. He wasn't going to abandon her. She needed money. How else was she going to get to Germany otherwise? She decided to write to her parents and asked for some money, saying to was for Christmas presents. You could now get cheap flights anywhere in the world. She'd found that out in Comopolitan. That was her only contact with the muggle world and it kept her sane.
So, that night she wrote to her parents asking if she could have one hundred or possibly two hundred pounds. She had used the Christmas presents excuse and a late birthday presents one. After all, they had only sent her a few clothes.
It was two weeks until they broke up for Christmas and she had told Harry and Ron she was going home for the break. Harry was obviously staying and Ron said he would to keep Harry Company. They also asked her if she was over Snape and she had declined to comment saying something like, 'That is a period in my life I'd rather forget.'
A few days later a message from her parents arrived with something better than a two hundred-pound check. A credit card with a two thousand-pound limit had arrived. They said it was in celebration of her turning eighteen. Great, this was going smoothly so far, she thought. Hermione had already started to pack and decided it was best to do so lightly, filling just a small suitcase and one piece of hand luggage.
In the last week up to Christmas, Hermione threw herself into her schoolwork. The teachers had given them a chunk of revision to do over Christmas in preparation of the N.E.W.T.S. Hermione considered taking her revision with her, but doing all homework before she went.

End of term arrived and Hermione nervously boarded the Hogwarts Expressis wis was going to be like an adventure in a sense. But she'd had enough of them over the last six years to last her a lifetime.
As the train got closer to London, Hermione changed into a casual pair of jeans and a top and sweater. She plaited her hair and when the train finally came to a halt, stepped onto platform nine and three-quarters in a state of disarray. What did she do first? Now, think logically Hermione, she told herself. Book a flight to Germany. She went through the barrier that led her to the centre of King's cross-station, lugging her suitcase with her. Getting to a telephone box, Hermione consulted her issue of Comopolitan for the number of an airline company. Seeing money was no longer an issue, Hermione booked herself a first class fight from Gatwick airport to Munich.
First she withdrew some money from a cash point and called a taxi to take her to Gatwick.
Arriving at the airport, she started to feel a little nervous. It soon wore off as she sat in her comfortable first-class seat, reading a magazine.

Hermione jolted awake. They were landing. Looking at her watch, it was nine o clock at night. She was in Germany now, so it was ten o clock.
Stepping into as taxi, Hermione directed the way to the driver, to take her to Durmstrang castle. When they got there she paid him.
"You sure you want to stop here? It's a ruin." The driver asked. To the untrained eye, Durmstrang looked just a ruined castle. For Hermione though it was the biggest castle she'd ever seen, with hundreds of turrets and huge grounds.
"Yes, I'm sure." The driver drove off as ioneione walked through the wrought iron gates and up the driveway to the entrance. It was lit by a series of lanterns and it created an eerie glow. Walking up the steps she saw Snape standing there waiting.
"Severus!" Hermione ran up to him and they embraced tightly.
"Hermione, I missed you so much." He whispered.
"Me too." They parted and looked into each other's eyes.
"Come in. We have a lot to talk about."
Snape led her through the massive entrance doors into an equally massive entrance hall. The floors were richly carpeted and thick tapestries hung off the walls. Hermione didn't have time to take in detail, as Snape led her through a door and down some steps. They walked along a corridor until they came to Snape's living quarters. They were way bigger than the ones he'd had at Hogwarts. It had a separate bedroom, a huge bathroom and a main living room with sofa's, chairs and a roaring fireplace. He sat Hermione down on a velvety soft sofa and poured them each a drink. Then he sat besides her, putting his arm around her. Hermione snuggled up closer to him.
"Now about your pregnancy." He started. Hermione looked up at him.
"Yes?" She asked anxiously.
"We are obviously keeping our baby." Snape said firmly. Hermione felt stronger for him than she'd ever done before, as he'd said 'our baby.'
"Yes, we are." She smiled.
"But I want to tell you something." He got up and Hermione became anxious again.
"Yes?" Hermione stood up, not knowing what to expect.
"I-it doesn't matter." Suddenly he grabbed her by the waist and kissed her. Hermione had forgotten what his kisses felt like and was immediately overwhelmed by the intensity. She let herself be swept away by it and they fell onto the sofa, kissing furiously, the passion they once had re-igniting. He put his hand up her top to caress her skin. Hermione gasped at the contrast of his cold hand on her hot skin.
"Severus." She groaned. He stopped and sat up.
"What's wrong?" Hermione sat up and looked at him curiously.
"Well, it's just that—Durmstrang have forbidden me to see you." Snape admitted.
"So...? Hermione asked confused. "What would happen if they found out?"
"They might send me to Azkaban." Snape looked at her shocked .
.
"But why did you ask me here then?" Hermione asked. She stood up and paced the room.
"I asked you here because I needed to tell you that I can't see you anymore." Snape said cautiously.
"What!?" Hermione exploded. "You said in your letter that you wouldn't abandon me!"
"I can't see you until you've left Hogwarts." Snape finished.
"But that still doesn't make it any better. I'll have had the baby by then, and nobody at Hogwarts knows about it. Where would I have the baby?" Hermione became a little agitated.
"Calm down. It will be alright. The baby should be due in August, so I suggest we find a place together and you can have her there." Snape stood up and took her in his arms.
"You said her." Hermione said. "How do you know it's going to be a girl?"
"I don't,I just have a feeling; and anyway, I've always wanted a daughter." He kissed her lightly on the lips.
"So when I've left Hogwarts we can buy a place together?" Hermione asked.
"Yes. I have my savings from teaching, so we could buy a house in Hogsmeade."
"That would be nice." Hermione pulled away from him and sat down, taking a sip of her drink. "
"On the last day at Hogwarts I will be waiting at Hogsmeade station for you." Snape declared. "I'm not sure whether I can write to you or not. It's a little risky."
"Right then, I can't really stay here tonight. It's too dangerous." Hermione stood up nervously, as though she expected Karkaroff to burst through the door.
"You could stay here tonight. Then I could smuggle you out early in the morning." Snape suggested."
"But where would I go? I've the rest of the Christmas holidays until I go back to Hogwarts. My parents aren't expecting me and the school would get suspicious if I turned up there." Hermione rambled.
"I think you ought to go to your parents. They wouldn't mind. Just tell them you've decided you want to spend Christmas with them."
Hermione nodded. "Right." Snape kissed her and they decided to retire to bed, which didhapphappen until after midnight as they other things on their agenda.

Hermione left at six 0'clock in the morning, after Snape vowed to meet her at Hogsmeade station on the last day of her schooling. She had decided to go to her parents and phoned them from the airport telling them so.
Hermione put her key in the lock and turned it. She was home. It felt like a life time since she'd last been there.
"Hermione! How are you?" Her mother embraced her.
"I'm fine thanks, mum." Hermione dumped her stuff in the hall as soon as her mother had relinquished her embrace.
"You must be starving. I'll fix us something to eat." She went into the kitchen and Hermione took her stuff up to her bedroom. She noticed that the house was already inundated with Christmas trappings and decoration. Hermione changed into a simple pair of jeans and a sweater and went downstairs.
"Right—you can tell me all about how your seventh year is going." Her mother said, placing a plate of chicken sandwiches in front of her. She sat down opposite her with her own lunch and looked inquisitively at Hermione.
I'd rather not, Hermione thought.
"It's going fine, mum." Hermione sagely nodded her head and picked up a sandwich that she didn't particularly want to eat.
"Are you sure?" She persisted. "How are Harry and Ron?"
"They're fine too." Hermione took a bite and could have thrown up. Realising she was about to for another reason, dashed from her chair to the downstairs toilet just in time.
Standing up and flushing thiletilet, Hermione turned around to face her mother who was looking concerned and stern at the same time if that wassiblsible.
"What's going on Hermione?" She asked folding her arms.
"I—um—have a bit of a sickness virus." Hermione quickly covered up. Her mothers frown lightened.
"Oh, you poor thing. I think you need some rest. You look deadly." Bustling Hermione up the stairs she forced her into her pyjamas and tucked her into bed.
"Mum, I can do this myself." Hermione grumbled.
"Yes, I know dear. Just rest and I'll bring you up a hot drink." She left the room and Hermione just lead there in shock for a while. Then something struck her. She was going to have to go to the doctors soon for a check-up. She would need to know if the baby was alright.
Falling into a fitful sleep she heard her mother come and place her drink on her table and then depart, quietly pushing the door together.
She finally dreamt of the day she would leave Hogwarts and be with Severus
