A/n: All right I have decided to post a James/Sirius/Remus fic that combines with a Ron/Draco fic
and of course I had to but didn’t mean to at first put a Harry/Colin
hinting. But really it’s about the first
pairs. Ummmmmmm…the
combination is really weird and I might end up splitting it into two fics but that would be so much work because the main plot
as to do with Draco living with Sirius.
Sirius not being dead of course I kinda forgot
that fact when I started writing it or I did and I just didn’t care hmm…anyway
enjoy
The ride was faster then Harry expected Remus ushered them
in warning them to be quiet in the halls.
They put Percy in the drawing room and proceeded to the dinning hall.
“I’m terribly sorry Molly,” Remus said offering a seat for
her, “Dumbledore will be here shortly to help.”
“Is it all right if we raid the kitchen?” Fred asked his
stomach growled.
“By all means,” Remus agreed following them down to help
out.
“Do you really believe all those things Nora tells you?”
Penelope pestered Charlie who sat beside him as they crowded the table and ate
breakfast. “You do realize what a stupid job handling dragons is? I’m surprised your mother lets you.”
Charlie stabbed his sausage giving Sable a small bite. He was glad that Nora was keeping an eye on
Percy instead of hearing this. “He lies about his noble things you know. He would probably chomp us all if given the
chance.”
“If someone does not switch me right now I cannot be
responsible for my actions,” Charlie rose from the table no one moved to help.
“I’ll switch you,” Harry finally sighed just to be
agreeable. Ron frowned as Hermione
stopped explaining why it was not Harry’s fault.
“Thank you Harry,” So the switch was made.
Dumbledore entered Snape trailed
after him, “Percy is in a state a lost soul is rarely recovered.”
“Understandable, but he’s our son,” Arthur explained
forgetting his prior disappointment for him.
Dumbledore nod “I “I want to know exactly what happened.”
“Percy and I went out to get Charlie and Oliver,” Bill
started but Dumbledore hushed him.
“I need an accurate unbiased reporting where is the night
dragon,” Dumbledore asked.
“He is in with Percy,” Charlie spoke up.
“Hush,” Snape ordered both he and
Dumbledore were deep in thought.
“Certainly,” Dumbledore nodded, “as it seems the dementors did not get his soul. It’s just lost for the time being it shall
return to him when it’s ready and no longer afraid.” No one was sure of this
logic but who were they to argue, Dumbledore did add that he should stay in St.
Mungo’s, until the time arrived where he came back to
them.
Remus’s dinner was had, minus
Percy who was currently in the department of lost souls. The table sat talking most were relieved that
everything would come about naturally. As it was Harry sat beside Penelope
again as he had earlier in the day Ron and Hermione joined him. Remus was having a rather length conversation
about Grindotts with Charlie and Bill. Fred and George were trying to get Oliver to
tell them about how the Quidditch star life was; Lee
Jordan just wanted to know about who won the game last night. Colin and Ginny were talking about their OWLs. Well Ginny was
talking Colin was death glaring Penelope.
“Shut the fuck up!”
Colin drew the attention of the party his eyes focused on Penelope. Despite his distance he had not missed a word
she said. “You have no right to speak to
Harry that way.” Penelope gazed at Colin as he spoke, “He never asked for any
of these things. He never wanted his
parents dead or to survive an attack that happened when he was a baby. Do you think he had any say in rather he
lived that night. Hell, I bet he wish he
had died, then have to spend his life saving your
sorry arse. Which
he doesn’t have to do, he does far
more then you do and he doesn’t go around asking people to act the way he wants
them to. He doesn’t ask to be famous or to get away with breaking some of the
rules. Anyone in the right state of mind
could see that he would trade those things he’d spend his nights in detention
with Filch to get off you-know-whose death list. So maybe you better concentrate on chewing
your food instead of reprimanding Harry for something he had no choice in,”
Colin’s wand was pointed unsteadily at Penelope. Everyone gawked trying not to
say anything unless the wrath was put on them.
Harry smiled inwardly his eyes on his plate as he decided on whether or
not to eat his steak. Colin stood ready
to hear Penelope’s reply.
“Colin,” Harry finally spoke up, “Please take a seat,” Colin
dropped his hand easing up as he began to sit.
“That’s right listen to him, fag,” Penelope gloated.
Colin was back on his feet hurling a stunning spell before
turning on his heals and leaving the room.
Oliver soon followed he had taken the comment personally. No one moved to undo the curse.
“You don’t think it’s weird that I’m gay?” Harry asked Remus
later that night.
“No, of course not; I’ve learned to try not to judge people
on what they are but who they are,” Remus sipped his coffee. “Beside I would be
a hypocrite then.”
“Oh good,” Harry nodded Remus’s
approval was nearly like Sirius’s or his Dad’s. “Wait you are too?”
Remus nodded solemnly, “Why do you think I’m still staying
in this nasty house?”
“Because Dumbledore needs someone running headquarters,”
Harry answered quickly.
“Oh, uh yeah that too,” Remus agreed, “But
as long as you are happy.”
“I better get going Thanks Mrs. Weasley,” Oliver announced
to the people in the dinning hall.
“Are you sure Oliver?” Mrs. Weasley went to greet him.
“Yes I have to get going to Australia. Thank you, for letting me stay. I-I hope Percy comes out all right,” he
smiled weakly.
“If you appearate you have to go
to the end of the street,” Remus explained.
“Oh I can’t appearate I never
learned how, I much prefer flying,” Oliver explained.
“To Australia?” Arthur raised an eyebrow.
“Nope just to the hotel,” Oliver explained, “Bye Professor,
Fred, George, Harry,” he waved to everyone else.
“I’ll walk you out,” Charlie excused himself from his
conversation with Fred and Dean.spanspan>Oliver
grinned as Charlie let the way out.
Spending Christmas with the Weasley’s
and Colin was the most exciting Christmas that Harry had been allowed to enjoy.
He had never really enjoyed the holidays it always reminded him of how little
he had. But unlike his aunt and uncle
the Weasley’s made him feel right at home as well as
family. But it was short lived soon they
were going back to school.
