Epilogue
Hermione was just beginning dinner when her and Luke’s son, Garrett, came running into the kitchen laughing.
“Garrett, where’s your…oh my!” Hermione gasped before bursting into laughter herself.
There stood her husband of seven years, Luke Skywalker, covered head-to-toe in mud. Luke just scowled at his seven year old son and wife.
“What happened?” Hermione giggled.
“Never take Garrett for a run through the Yavin jungle.” Luke grumbled as he made his way to the refresher.
Hermione and Garrett looked at each other and began laughing all over again. Once they finally stopped laughing, Hermione decided to fill her son in on a little secret she had known for seven years.
“You mean, you knew this would happen?” Garrett asked.
“Yes. Your cousin Jacen saw it. I was six months pregnant with you. Your father and I were having dinner with your aunt and uncle. After dinner, Jacen put his hand on my stomach. He went into a trance. When he came out of it, he said I would have a son. He then showed me what he saw. It was this moment exactly.” Hermione answered with a smile.
“Did dad know?” he questioned.
“No. It was just between Jacen and I. Now, go get cleaned up for dinner.” she smiled.

Hermione sighed as the evening breeze washed over her. As she looked out over the jungle of Yavin IV, she let her thoughts wonder over everything that had happened over the past seven years.
A month after he returned from Earth, Severus and Mara were married in a simple ceremony at the academy. The two were expecting their first child in three months. Severus had taken to the trading business very well. He and Mara were now top in the trading guild.
Ron and Harry were still teaching and going on the occasional mission for the New Republic. Both were happily married. Ron married a fellow Jedi name Larissa from Corillia. Harry was married to Jacen and Jaina’s nanny, Winter.
“What are you thinking about love?” Luke asked, wrapping his arms securely around her.
“Just the past.” Hermione sighed.
“We’ve had an interesting seven years haven’t we.” he chuckled.
“Yes we have. Luke, let’s have another child.” she said as she turned in his arms.
“Really? You mean it?” he questioned excitedly.
“Yes.” she nodded.
Luke smiled brightly. Hermione returned the smile, before leaning up and kissing her husband.
