SIRIUS’S P.O.V

Hermione jerks up clutching her throat her eyes wide open her mouth moving wildly as she gasps for air. Fred jumped up and ran to get a healer while George ran to the side of the bed trying to help me lay her back down as she thrashed uncontrollably. “Mione, MIONE listen look at me please look at me.” I Said looking her in the eyes. She calmed down before looking around. “Sirius…” She breathed before wrapping her hands around me. “Oh Mione. You scared the shit out of us.” I murmured.

I looked up as the healer walked in. “Ms. Granger good to see you awake. I’m going to ask you some questions.” she nodded looking at me. “Can you feel all of your limbs? Any headaches. Dizzieness…” I watched Hermione shake her head or nod. Finally the healer turned to me. “She can leave in a little while just keep an eye on her.” The healer said. I nodded and walked back over to Hermione. “Mione you can leave soon.” I told her. She nodded and smiled. “I just want to see Sage.” She said softly. “She want’s to see you too.” I told her warmly.

When we were able to leave St. Mungo’s I apparated us to Harry and Ginny’s. The door was unlocked and I walked in supporting Hermione. We walked into the kitchen while Ginny was making Tea. Draco and Harry were sitting at the table and looked over when I cleared my throat. Ginny turned and saw Hermione a squeal escaping her as she dropped the tray of mugs back on the counter and hugged Hermione. “I was so worried.” She said hugging the girl. Hermione hugged her back. “It was so weird Gin.” Hermione said. “SAGE!” Harry called. I heard the rush of footsteps. “MOMMY!” Sage yelled before catapulting herself at her mother. “I missed you so much you said you wouldn’t get sick again.” The girl said looking at Hermione with scared eyes. “I know honey but I’m not going anywhere.” She told the girl smiling.

“Mione don’t forget you still need to take it easy.” I said softly. She looked at me and smiled. “I know.” She said softly. “What have you been doing?” She asked Sage smiling. Sage started filling her in while Ginny helped Hermione sit. I watched Ginny make a pot of tea while Hermione talked to Sage. I was quiet while I watched Sage animatedly tell her what she had been up to. Hermione seemed to glow. My daughter and the women I loved I couldn’t be without either of them I knew that. I just had to show Hermione how much I meant it.

After awhile we headed back to my place. Sage clinging to Hermione until we got back where she promptly went to her room to give us some privacy. “Smart little girl.” I muttered making Hermione smile. “I know.” she said softly. “Hermione we need to talk.” I started watching her chew her bottom lip nervously. “I want you to be with me luv.” I said simply causing her to look up. “And if things didn’t work? What would Sage think?” she asked softly. “We won’t have to worry about that Mione, you’re the only women for me and I’m sure the devil just fell off this throne in hell hearing that but it’s true.” I said simply watching her begin to smile.

Hermione’s P.O.V

I didn’t know what to say to him, I was still in love with him, and I knew I would never be able to fall for anyone else because of Sage looking at her I saw him. I bit my bottom lip. “Mione, you should get a change of clothes.” Ginny said softly standing in the doorway. “Yeah that’s probably a good idea, I need a shower anyway.” I said softly. I walked over to the fireplace and grabbed a handful of floo powder. I felt a hand wrap around my waist and looked. “your not going anywhere alone.” He whispered.

We stepped out of my fireplace and I made for the stairs. I was on the third step when Sirius grabbed my wrist. He spun me around and pulled me to him capturing my lips with his. His hand dropped from my wrist, and grabbed my hips puling me to him. “Sirius if you want to yell about Sage can you put it on hold for a day?” I asked wearily. “NO…” he said. I looked at him confused. “pardon?” I asked. He looked at me before running a hand through his hair. “I mean…I don’t want to yell about Sage, I want to talk about us…me and you and a lot of other things I need to get out there.” He started leading me towards the couch. I was still pretty confused the days before I passed out were a blur.

“Please Mione, I know you say I have to get my shit together and I do, but please be with me. Let Sage have an actual family. When I think about my life, I see you and her. I’ve always seen you, now that there’s Sage it’s the both of you. Hermione I love you and Sage, I love her more than I ever thought it was possible to love. The both of you, I need you.” He whispered honestly. “Sirius…” I whispered cupping his cheek. “I love you. I do, and I want to be with you, but so help me Sirius Orion Black if you hurt me I will castrate you and hang you up my your toes in the great hall of Hogwarts.” I threatened making him smile. “So that’s a yes?” He asked hopefully. I nodded smiling. “That’s a yes.” I answered. He laughed and kissed me. I pulled away breathing heavily. “We should probably wait until your better before doing too much of that huh?” He asked.

I nodded, before leaning my head against his. “That would probably be a good idea, but then again, you can do anything as longs as it’s in moderation.” I answered smiling.
