Chapter Nine: Cheers

Roxy is still lying in her room later that day, when Fred and George walk in and kneel beside her bed. "Roxy, you have laid here long enough, it's time to get up and do something" said Fred. "Yeah, come on we will take you shopping if you want. Like you can try on clothes and like you know buy them" agreed George in an attempt at talking like a girl. "Oh, and shoes can't forget the shoes" added Fred in temptation. "Thanks but I don't want to go" said Roxy, trying to suppress a laugh at how George had spoken. "To bad" said Fred. "You have two choices, change clothes and clean yourself up and come voluntarily or we pick you up and you go shopping as is" said George. "Why do you want to take me shopping so badly" asked Roxy as she propped herself up. "Well because you sad and need cheering up, and we figured shopping seems to cure that for other girls we know" answered Fred. "Also we don't like seeing you sad. So come on get up and let's go" added George. "Oh. Okay" said Roxy after a couple minutes as she got up to change. "Umm, guys, privacy please". "Oh! Right we will be right outside" said Fred as he and George stood up and left the room closing the door behind them. "Hmmm what to wear?" said Roxy to herself as she surveyed her clothing. "Hmmmm…okay purple tank top, and these here jean shorts and these tennis shoes. " She quickly changed and cleaned up her face, removing all signs of her earlier tears.

"Okay, I'm ready" called Roxy as she opened the door and met the twins in the hallway. "Wow" said George as he looked at her. "What?" asked Roxy? "Those uhh shorts, are kinda short don't you think?" asked George. "Nope not really, I just have long legs" replied Roxy, "Why?" she asked. "Well, Ron's going to be jealous" said George. "That wasn't my idea" said Roxy as she thought about it. "But you know it is really his loss, come on now you talked me out of my room, so let's go." Roxy added. "After you my lady" said Fred laughing softly. "Hold on and we'll apprate". "Where you guys going" asked Ron coming up the stairs. "Taking Roxy out to shop" answered Fred. "Oh" said Ron noticing Roxy's outfit. "Don't you think you should wear something else?" he asked her. "Why, what's wrong with what I have on?" asked Roxy narrowing her eyes and folding her arms. "You look like a…..ya know" said Ron. "Well, thanks Ron, for making me feel so great today. Now I'm not just a nasty Death Eater but a nasty hoe also." said Roxy as she turned and walked away feeling tears burn in her eyes.

"Brilliant Ron if you want her back, use your fucking brain" said Fred hitting him in the back of his head. "I didn't say she was a hoe, I just meant she might be mistaken for one" said Ron. "To be honest, she looks great." Said George "Now Good bye". "Why can't I just keep my big mouth shut" Ron mumbled to himself, staring at the space Roxy had occupied a few seconds before.

*Diagon Alley*

"Roxy, Ron's stupid, he doesn't think before he says things a lot of the time" said Fred wrapping an arm around her protectively as they walked past a gang of whistling guys. "He's really a good guy, though, with a big heart and he really cares about you," added George. "I know, but he really hurt and upset me" said Roxy sadly as tears started to well up again. "Hey, no sad face this is supposed to be fun. Now come on and look at this dress" said Fred stopping outside of a shop and looking in the window. "Well…..I do like purple" said Roxy eyeing the short purple dress in the window. "It's yours then." said George going in to buy her the dress. "Lupin, said to but whatever you wanted." Explained Fred. "Moody gave us a lot of money for you, said he would never use it as old as he is." Fred finished. "Okay" said George as he came out of the store. "One cute little purple dress and I also grabbed you a teal one. Also why am I talking like this?" he asked more to himself, causing the other two to laugh. "Wow, it's like having my own personal shoppers" said Roxy still giggling. "Look at that Fred. We got a smile out of her". Said George. "Yep" said Fred in agreement as he looked and nodded off to the side "You know I really don't like that group of guys over there, I think their following us." Said Fred. "Their probably jealous, I mean we are walking around with her". Said George looking at the group, then pointing at Roxy and laughing a bit. "Oh well that's so nice of you to say" replied Roxy with a smile and another round of giggles. "But I agree with Fred. They look like trouble." Added Roxy watching the group warily, when one of the guys broke off from the group and headed their way.

"Let's pretend like were having a big discussion, oh and if it comes down to it, remember don't change into your wolf form, cause well that'll attract a lot of unneeded attention". Said Roxy as they formed a tight circle. "Gotcha. Hat if it gets ugly though?" asked Fred. "If it gets ugly, Draco will come, most likely bringing Ron too. Me and him have a strong mental connection even before I gave him the power to change form, so he almost always knows where I am." Explained Roxy. "That is so cool" said George as the guy arrived at the edge of their circle. "Hey dudes" said the guy, "how much?" "What?" asked George looking at the guy. "How much?" repeated the guy, this time gesturing towards Roxy this time. "Excuse me." Said Roxy crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at the guy. "Not talking to you, I'm taking to them, so keep your mouth shut" replied the guy. "Don't talk to her like that, and why the hell do you think you can buy her" growled Fred stepping between Roxy and the guy. "Well, my friends and I are looking for a good time, thought you wouldn't mind her being gone, if you could make some money from her absence". The guy replied trying to get a better look at Roxy. "Well she's not a slut you jackass. Also we don't rent out chicks, so you can go look somewhere else for your good time. Come on Roxy." Said George as he moved to let her pass him and started to walk away. "Hey honey" said the guy grabbing Roxy by her arm and spinning her around to face him. "Don't you want to make some money?" he asked as he roamed her body with his eyes. "Let go of me, you fucking asshole" said Roxy reeling her free arm back and punching the guy in the nose. "Son of a bitch!" yelled the guy cupping his nose in his palms. "That'll teach you to touch someone you don't know." Said Roxy as she stepped back between the twins. "Oh my gawd" said George in awe. "You just put him on the ground, with one hit" said Fred with a shake of his head. "Yea I know, and I'm really not sure how I did it" replied Roxy in a whisper only the twins could here. "Dude! Oh man" said one of the guys friends as the rest of the group came running over to his side. "Man. You got punched by a girl" said another of his friends. "Fred, don't they look familiar to you?" asked George. "Yeah, I think they're in Ron's year at Hogwarts" replied Fred. "Girlie, you just screwed up" said one of the guys. "Roxy. Were outnumbered, could be a problem." whispered George. "I know Draco's on his way with Neville and Ron." Roxy whispered in reply.

SNAP! "Who the fuck grabbed a hold of me girlfriends arm" said Ron appearing beside Fred with a dangerous look in his eyes. "I want to know who the hell thought it would be okay to grab ahold of my cousin" said Draco at the same appearing beside George. "Yea, who did?" asked Neville trying to look mean like the rest as he appeared nest to Roxy. "Ron Weasley?" asked the guy who was still lying on the ground. "It's me…..Dean Thomas." "I 'm assuming you're the one she punched?" asked Ron rhetorically. "Yeah dude, for like no reason at all" answered Dean. "So your telling me, you didn't try to buy her off my brothers, for a fun time, and that you also didn't grab a hold of her arm and ask her the same question?" asked Ron . "Well, you see….." started Dean looking nervously at his friends for support. "Grab him, Neville, Draco" interrupted Ron. "Let me tell you something, I don't care what you thought you were doing, or how you thought you were at the time. Now apologize or i am going to kick your ass and then I am gonna kick your friends asses, and believe me you will be looking bad when school starts back up, are we clear?" Finished Ron, looking Dean in the eye and balling his fist at his side. "I'm….I'm sorry for trying to buy you and for grabbing ah old of you like that" apologized Dean looking at Roxy. "Good" said Ron as he signaled for Neville and Draco to release Dean. "Ron, since when do you hang out with slytherins, ya know Death Eater people like Malfoy here?" asked Dean as he dusted himself off. "Since I feel in love with a beautiful Death Eater who has changed me and my life for the better, and who has shown me that not everyone is who they seem on the outside" replied Ron, looking at Roxy as he said this. "Now", said Ron turning back to Dean "Get out of here. Go home, and if we see you here again today, were going to kick you assess."

Ron's gaze becoming cold and harsh as he looked them all in the eye, right before hey took off running. "Fell in love? You sure she didn't work some Dark Arts magic on you Weasley?" Said Draco sarcastically. "I'm sure she didn't. She's too sweet to use Dark Magic" replied Ron, turning to face Roxy his gaze softening and warming as he did so. "Roxy. I'm really sorry for what I said earlier, and for what I indirectly said about you shorts. I really like what you have one, they make your legs-" "Cut to the point Ron" interrupted Draco. "The point is Roxy, I love you and I mean it. I don't care if you come from a family of Dark wizards and witches, because that's not who you are." Finished Draco. A dramatic pause descends as everyone waits for Roxy's reply. "I love you to Ron" answered Roxy finally. "I understand, its okay" said Ron not quiet hearing her. "Ron, she said I love you, not I hate you, you idiot" interjected Fred. "Really?" asked Ron. "Yes we don't understand it either Ron" replied George. "Be nice guys, and yes Ron that's what I said" said Roxy laughing. "Well then" said Ron as he scooped Roxy up into his arms "A pretty little thing like you shouldn't have to walk." "Why don't we stop for butterbeers, my treat to celebrate this" said Draco laughing at the look of mock outrage on his cousins' face. "It's so good having you all together and actually liking each other again" said Neville as they walked to the pub.
