The room was silent as Silva announced that the reading was complete, but that did not last long. Voices soon filled the room; loud and overlapping making it difficult to make sense of anything being said. Harry continued to sit between Draco and Severus, his arms crossed over his chest deep in thought as he heard in the background: Ron rant about it not being fair that he received so little after all he'd done, Dumbledore demanding Harry had to be back at his Aunt's, Ginny wailing about the contract being broken and how Harry was hers, and the twins filling their father in on all they had learned. Harry was deep in thought about the revelation that Sirius had a son that he'd never mentioned. Harry wondered why this was the first he was hearing about it. It was difficult to think with all the noise and finally he'd had enough. He turned to give an icy glare at the person with the loudest voice in the room. "Ron. Shut. Up," he finally snapped making each word crystal clear making not only Ron stop talking, but all the others as well. "If you really don't understand why Sirius left you so little than you are in the land of denial. Grow up and leave me the hell alone."
"So you are siding with the death eater ferret over your friends," Ron sneered as he glared back at Harry. "Have you forgotten what all he's done to us over the years? Let alone Snape, the greasy git, he's been horrible to all of us since first year. They're Slytherins! They can't be trusted and you know it. Remember what his father did to poor Ginny? Remember what the Malfoys tried to do to Hagrid and Buckbeak? They aren't your friends, we are!"
"Friends? Please. You aren't my friend. You are a spy for Dumbledore and all you want from me is possible fame," Harry told him in a cold voice. "I know all about Hermione and you. I know who my true friends are and they aren't you two. I know what the two of you have been doing and how you were paid to do it, so don't even pretend Ron. I heard the two of you last year while you were packing. I heard it from your own mouth, so don't even bother trying to deny it now."
Ron turned a bright red that almost matched his hair and looked like he was ready to explode. He didn't know how Harry had overheard them, however he knew if Harry wasn't his friend there went his money and his prestige as being the-boy-who-lived's best friend. "I don't know what you're on about. I've been your best friend since first year. You have gone around the bend, that's it isn't it? You are totally mental! What has the Death Eater wanna-be ever done for you?"
"You have no idea," Harry snapped at him. "Just go away Ron. I want nothing more to do with you and we have nothing to say to each other." He flicked his wand and silently cast a Silencio spell on Ron making him mute for now. He had to admit that silence could be golden. He saw Dumbledore moving closer and he ground his teeth together. He was not in the mood to go the ten rounds with Dumbles that he knew he would have to do eventually. "Headmaster we have nothing to discuss. You have an appointment to attend to and so do I."
"Now Harry we do need to talk. You need to be at your aunt's where you will be safe," Dumbledore stated. "I don't know what you were thinking coming here on your own, but it was foolish of you to do so. Have you any idea what could have happened or how many lives you might have put at risk?" he asked trying to make Harry feel guilty and thus twist him to his own ends. It had often worked in the past with the boy, but he realized immediately when he saw the look on Harry's face that it didn't work this time.
"If you think that home is safe than you and I have two very different views on the word," Harry told him with a bitter laugh. "As of this morning the Dursleys have been arrested for attempted murder and child abuse," he told him. He saw the shock on Dumbledore's face and heard gasps coming from several others. He ignored everyone else and could have cared less what the other man thought of the issue. "I will never go back there. Besides, we both know that house has no more protection than any other, so unless you want the rest of your dirty laundry aired here I suggest you leave me alone."
"Harry.." Dumbledore started to say only to have Harry cut him off.
"Only my friends get to call me that and you are not one of them. It's Lord Potter to you," he said in a tone that was filled with venom. Standing up he faced Dumbledore head on. True he wasn’t as tall as him, he knew after years of malnutrition he would never be as tall has he should have been, but he could stand his ground. "You are the headmaster of my school. That is it. You have no say over my life or what I do any longer. I will no longer take orders from you or any of your flunkies. Do not try to contact me in the future about anything besides Hogwarts' business; if you attempt to do so you will not like the consequences," he told him; his eyes glowing with both power and rage.
Dumbledore seethed internally, but outwards he continued to show his grandfatherly attitude. "As you would like Lord Potter," he said. "I only have your welfare in mind and I'm worried about your safety with Voldemort on the loose. We need to get you to safety. I had not realized what your family was doing to you; if I had I would have helped you dear boy. Why did you never tell me?" he asked trying to push it back onto him. He of course didn't give him time to answer because then everyone would know that he had known. Pompfrey had told him each year about how Harry was abused. He would then have to obliviate her and modify her memories to show the abuse to not be abuse but just misunderstandings that he'd tell her he would take care of before sending her on her way. "Since you cannot stay there I offer to have you stay at Hogwarts year around where you will be safe."
Harry gave a snort at that one. How many times had he asked Dumbledore to let him stay there before and he'd never let him saying it was against school policy and now he offered it? "You are lucky I am even going back there this year Headmaster," he snapped at him. "I have had offers from other schools, you know, and after this past year I was tempted to go to them." He hadn't really had any offers, but he'd thought of going to other schools, he figured Dumbledore didn't need to know that. He saw a bit of fear enter the older wizard's eyes for just a second and he knew that was something Dumbles did not want to see happen. "However, I started at Hogwarts and I will finish there, so long as you stay out of my life."
Dumbledore sighed knowing that at this point he had to be seen giving into Harry's demands if he was ever going to get Harry back under his control. Once he had the boy back at Hogwarts he would be able to manipulate him again as needed he was sure. He would just have to figure out how to get his plans back on track. "As you wish," he said to him. "I shall see you September first," he added.
Silva looked at Dumbledore, "Lord Gringotts is waiting for you," he told the man. He made a simple hand motion and two guards came forward to stand on either side of the headmaster. "Good day."
Dumbledore wasn't sure why the owner of Gringotts wanted to see him, but he doubted it was for anything good especially as the guards came beside him. He nodded, glanced over at Severus and with that one look let the other man know he would be in contact with him. He would make sure that traitor regretted betraying him and assisting Potter. He would get Harry back under his control in time and when he did so Severus would either do as told or end up in Azkaban. He turned and left without saying a word as the guards escorted him to the owner's office.
With Dumbledore gone and Ron actually being quiet, Ginny felt it was her turn at Harry. She rushed up to him and threw her arms about his neck so she could press against him. "Oh Harry I've missed you so much," she gushed. She moved to kiss him passionately and even managed to get her lips on his before he pushed her away making her stumble back a few steps.
"What the bloody hell do you think you are doing Ginny?" Harry demanded. He couldn't believe she'd tried to kiss him like that. It hadn't even been like a peck on the lips. Her mouth had been partially open and he'd felt her tongue against his mouth. Ugh, he felt like he wanted to scrub not only his mouth off but also his brain of the memory of it.
"Harry it's all right. Mum knows how we feel about each other and so does Ron. They won't object to us kissing," Ginny told him. In her mind, she figured that was what he was objecting to not the actual kiss itself.
"Well I object," Harry told her coldly. He had known she had a crush on him, but this seemed way beyond that and he was going to nip it in the bud right now. "Ginny you are Ron's little sister, that's all you are to me. At one time, I thought you were my friend, but that is it. It was never anything more than that, ever."
"Harry you don't mean that," Ginny said to him as she moved closer to him. "I know you don't. I've seen the way you look at me when you think Ron isn't watching. You love me, but I know you are a typical male and don't want to admit it. It's all right, I understand and I can wait until you can." She put her hand on his chest while smiling coyly and then she started batting her eyelids as she looked up at him.
Harry rolled his eyes as he listened to her. She seemed to actually believe the drivel that was coming out of her mouth. "Listen to me," he told her as he lifted her hand off his chest, "and get it through your thick head. I do not love you. I have never loved you and I will never love," he spat out. "I shall never, ever marry you either." He could see the tears starting up again as his words started to sink in, but he wanted to make sure she really got the message. "Even if you were the last woman on earth I would not be with you."
Molly knew that the situation was quickly getting out of hand. They would have to wait until Harry calmed down a bit and then work their way back into his good graces once more. She figured it would be easy to do considering how lonely and miserable Harry's life had been. She'd seen in the past how easy it had been to manipulate him and figured it would be just as easy now; it would just take time and patience, something she had a great deal of experience with. If that didn't work well there were always potions and charms to assist them. She knew which ones to use and it wouldn't be that difficult to slip them into Harry's drinks or food once he was back in school. If that didn't work well she'd put a charmed item on him or Ginny to get him to do what she wanted. "Come along children. It's best we leave before something is said that is not meant." She turned towards her husband, "Arthur, come, we are leaving."
"No you are leaving," Arthur said glaring at his wife. "Have my things sent to the twins' shop. I shall not be coming home." He was furious with his wife; not only for what she'd done to him, but also for what she’d done to Harry. Everything he had heard today was spinning around in his head making him feel ill. He looked at his two youngest wondering how he could have done so wrong by them. He supposed he'd been working far too much and hadn't realized how much his wife had influenced them. He doubted there was anything he could do for them now, but he would think on it and see if he couldn't fix things. For now though, he knew he had to get away from his wife and get his head on straight.
"Arthur this is hardly the time for such things. Now I insist you come home with us," Molly said using a tone that said she wouldn't take an argument. She'd used that tone of voice along with potions in the past to control Arthur and get him to do as she wanted. It had taken years, but she had gotten him to the point where he responded to the voice with only having to give him the potion once a week.
Arthur started to move forward, as if under control by another, until he felt the hands of his twin sons on his shoulders. He took a deep breath and shook off the feeling of wanting to follow that voice. "No, I shall not. Goodbye Molly," he told her in a firm voice. With doing that, he felt more alive than he had in years. He had to wonder how long his wife had been controlling him and to what extent. He would be thinking long and hard over the past to figure things out.
Molly humphed and motioned to Ron, Ginny and Hermione to head out of the room while wishing at the same time that it had been earlier in the week when the potion in his system would have been stronger. She would just have to make sure when she sent his things over to the shop that some were charmed with compulsion spells to make him come home. Once he was at home, it would be easy enough to get him back under control. "We will discuss this later," she told him before moving to usher the children out. She broke the spell on Ron and then wished she hadn't as he started to complain once more. She listened to Ron and Ginny harp on their own problems for a moment before having enough of it. "Stow it all of you. We will discuss this at home," was the last that was heard from them.
"Harry we're going to.." George started to say to their friend as he along with his brother and father came to stand near Harry.
"take dad back to the shop," Fred finished for his brother. They continued to alternate, starting and finishing each other's sentences as they explained what they'd learned.
"We're with you..."
"all the way. We found out.."
"that mom was teaching Ginny.."
"how to drug you and that she.."
"did it to dad all these years."
"We wanted to tell you but.."
"we didn't find out until.."
"a few weeks ago," George and Fred explained to him.
The two of them were known for doing this speech pattern and though it could be irritating, Harry was used to it after five years. He nodded his understanding and was just relieved to know that not all the Weasleys were in Dumbledore's pocket. "I'll try and stop by soon to talk with you all. Take care of your dad." He saw them nod before going back to get their father and lead him out. Harry thought Mr. Weasley looked a bit shell-shocked. He could only hope the man was soon back to normal. Finding out that the woman you married had been drugging you couldn't be easy. He hoped that time would make things easier for the other man. He turned back to Silva now that most of the crowd had left the room. He noticed that Tonks and her family had left, although he wasn't sure as to when. He had the feeling though, it wasn't that long ago. "What is Lord Gringotts going to see Dumbledore about?" he asked; his curiosity on that matter outweighing all the others.
"When the audit of your accounts was started it soon became apparent that it had been mishandled," Silva explained ashamed that this had ever happened and that it was not caught earlier. No goblin should ever have betrayed his honor this way. "Glander, the goblin in charge of your account, was brought in to be questioned about it. He quickly confessed to his wrong doings and implicated Dumbledore as his co-conspirator. Dumbledore was the one who paid him to block your parents' will. With no will, Dumbledore had you placed where he wanted to, as you know, and he set it up so that he was your guardian at the bank. He was never legally your guardian here. Only the Wizengmont could appoint such a person when a will does not do so. Dumbledore then used your accounts for different payments over the years. Glander has already been arrested and sentenced for his crimes for he not only broke the laws of the bank but Goblin laws as well. His sentence from what I understand will be carried out tonight."
"Which is what exactly?" Draco asked. He knew goblin justice was severe but he wasn't sure what it would be in this instance.
"All of his wealth shall be stripped of him, even his clothes," Silva stated. He was thankful that Glandar was not a family man because often the family was also stripped of its wealth. "He is then paraded through our streets before being publically flogged; after which his magic is ripped from him and only then is he fed to a dragon."
Harry shook his head at hearing all of that information. That was very viscous and he felt some pity for the goblin. "Somehow I doubt you have many criminals do you?" He saw Silva shake his head at that. "What will happen to Dumbledore?" He hated to admit it, but a part of him almost would like to see something similar happen to the man; almost, but not quite. No, as much as he hated Dumbledore right then he didn't want that to happen to any person or being.
"Under the treaty the Goblin nation has with the Ministry we cannot arrest Dumbledore even though he conspired with a goblin to break many of our laws," Silva explained. "We can send a request to the DMLE, but in the past they have not done much unless it was a very grave offense. Considering whom it is we are doubtful they will do much. That being said however, the Goblin nation can impose fines upon the offending witch or wizard and we can bar them from any of our businesses. Lord Gringotts has decided to confiscate all of Dumbledore's vaults here at the bank and bar him from access to any Gringotts properties. All the money that he took from you and any others shall be returned along with penalties. Since he cannot use Gringotts we will also have to contact the Board of Governors for Hogwarts. They will need to know, since Dumbledore will not be able to access the Hogwarts' accounts, that the deputy headmistress will have to take care of all the banking needs. We are also suggesting to the Board that the Hogwarts' accounts be audited for any problems."
Harry chuckled at this. "Oh I would love to be a fly on the wall when that happens, but it is probably best I'm not there. I just might say or do something that would be used against me later."
"It is for the best that you keep your distance and not aggravate the headmaster more," Severus stated although he too wished to see how Dumbledore responded to what the goblins would be doing. "He is not a man to underestimate."
Remus had been sitting there and once the will had finished he had opened the letter from Sirius. He'd had to restrain his temper as he read the details of what Sirius had discovered. Not only had Dumbledore known that Sirius was innocent from the start, but that the man had done nothing to prevent him from being thrown in Azkaban. Sirius had also learned that Dumbledore had blocked Lilly and James' will, had enrolled several people to spy on Harry, had forced Severus to be a spy and to belittle Harry whenever possible, he'd known Harry was being abused and had paid that odious man to be horrible to him. The list seemed to go on in the letter including how Dumbledore was the one who had let others know of Remus' infliction not Severus as he had thought. Sirius mentioned other items he had suspicions about, but no proof to offer at that time however, he made a few suggestions on how to get the proof. By the time he'd finished reading and thought over what was said he barely caught the end of what Silva and Harry were discussing. He had to smile at the thought of Dumbledore being barred from Gringotts. He stood up and walked over to Harry. "I know you have a great deal to do here yet, but I would like to talk with you as soon as possible. I've been staying at Grimmauld Place; I don't think it will be a problem for me to continue to stay there until you come back with Sirius' son. I'll see about continuing to clean it up and since Dumbledork and his cronies won't be there it should be fairly quiet."
Harry nodded and thought for a moment. "Why don't we meet for dinner there? Have the twins and Mr. Weasley come as well and then we can discuss everything that is happening at that time," he suggested. He figured this way it would be easier then explaining things two and three times to everyone. He also had many questions for Remus about Sirius' son and why he'd never heard about him before today.
Remus nodded. "I'll go and see the twins now and set it up. I will see you then," he added. He nodded to Severus and Malfoy before moving to leave the room his thoughts going back to the letter he'd read and what all it contained. He had the feeling that this was just the first of many revelations headed their way. After he left the chamber, he noticed that Tonks and her family were walking before him so he quickly caught up with them to speak about the current situation to see which side they were on.
Harry watched Remus leave and then he turned back to Silva. "What can you tell me about Sirius' son?" he asked. He knew Sirius had asked him to make contact, which led him to believe that the person in question didn't know that Sirius was his father.
"Arcturus Alphard Black was born to Sirius Black and Mary MacDonald during their graduation ceremony at Hogwarts. From what I understand, it caused quite a commotion at the time. Mary MacDonald unfortunately passed away soon after the birth," Silva explained. "About two weeks later the baby disappeared right from his cradle at Grimmauld Place. There was no trace of him found, although there were suspicions that Bellatrix Lestrange had a hand in his disappearance. Lord Black searched up until he was in Azkaban. He began to search again a couple of years ago after he had escaped. He discovered recently that his son was with Bellatrix' sister-in-law Jessica Harris nee Lestrange. Jessica had been ostracized by the family because she was a squib. She'd moved to America and has had almost no contact with her direct family since. Bellatrix visited her once and it is believed that is when she gave her the baby. Lord Black was attempting to find a way to visit and make contact with his son, but as you know since he was wanted trying to travel to America was not easy."
"So I take it he has no idea about his heritage. What about his magic? Did he go to an American school?" Harry asked feeling sick that Sirius had never told him about this. He would have helped in any way he could even if he wasn't sure how.
"From what was discovered Arcturus never went to any wizarding school," Silva explained. "This could be for a couple of reasons besides being a squib. It could be his magic was bound or the fact that he lives in Sunnydale, a town that is filled with magical convergence, which would cause him to go undiscovered," Silva stated. "We assisted Lord Black where we could in finding information on the boy." He picked up a folder and passed it to Harry. "There isn't much there I'm afraid. It appears he grew up as a muggle. There is, however, evidence that he knows of magic and magical beings. He was spotted several times with a William Malfoy, who is a vampire."
"Wait? William Draconis Malfoy? He disappeared when he was in his twenties back in 1880. His body was never found," Draco stated even as he saw Silva nod in response. He knew the history of his ancestor. He'd told Harry the story of William’s parents after all, which had caused the whole Malfoy and Weasley feud. He shook his head in amazement at this news. "No wonder no one ever found out what happened to him. When we go there Harry I will have to see if I can make contact with him."
Harry was glancing through the file and even he had to admit it was thin. It had the basics about Arcturus, or perhaps he should say Alexander since that was what the man had grown up with. He noticed the medical records and could read between the lines, someone had abused Alexander as a child. Perhaps they still were since the records had him in the emergency room at the hospital a number of times over the years. He looked up at Draco, "You're going with me?"
"Or course we are," Snape stated. "If his magic has been bound you will need me to assist you in unbinding it. I also have to admit I am interested in this town. I have heard stories about it for years, but never had the chance to find out if any of them are true. It should make for an informative trip if nothing else." He wasn't going to admit he was curious about Black's son or the fact that he felt he should help since he would never have a chance to apologize to Black for his own behavior over the years.
Harry nodded, "Right." He knew there was more to Severus' actions than he was admitting, but he also knew better than to push. He looked at Silva. "We are going to need some international portkeys to go there and come back. In the meantime, I would like the Black accounts audited so they are all set for when we come back. Also what items did Sirius want me to give to him?"
"Of course," Silva stated. "I can arrange all that for you without a problem. As for the items, there are several letters, pensieve flasks, a book about becoming anamagi, and the final item is a book containing all of the practical jokes he performed while at Hogwarts and others he had planned but never executed. All of the items have been placed in this bag," Silva said holding out a small bag to Harry. It was a magical bag that could hold up to the equivalent of a room that was five by five meters in size without weighting more than a few ounces. "Lord Potter the bank had asked me to be in charge of your accounts, at least temporarily until you could appoint a goblin you would prefer to handle them. I have here the results of the audit along with some other information you will need."
"Thank you, but please call me Harry," he reminded him. "Is there anything left after what Dumbledore did?" he asked. He knew what had been in the vault that he went to each year before school and he wondered if that was all there was.
Silva couldn't help but laugh at that question. "I'm sorry Harry," he said to him. "Dumbledore could have spent a hundred times what he had and not touched the bulk of your accounts. You are considered one of the richest wizards in all of England," he explained. "You need not worry on that." He reached over to take out a very large file and hand it over to Harry. "There is a listing of your holdings including your estates, stocks, and the contents of the main vault that does not include the vault that they had let you have access to. I would recommend you go over the listing to see what all is in there since it includes far more than just gold. Now over the years it appears that a couple of people had access and removed money from the vault. The two people were Dumbledore and Molly Weasley; they have since been blocked. There were also monthly allowances being sent to Dumbledore, Molly Weasley, Ronald Weasley, Vernon Dursley and one to a vault for the Order of the Phoenix. There was a yearly allowance being sent to Hermione Granger; however Granger's was being sent to Hogwarts in the form of a scholarship to pay for her education. There were two other yearly allowances being sent out, one to Bellatrix Lestrange and one to a vault in the name of Tom Riddle; that vault however was only ever accessed by Lucius Malfoy. We have stopped all allowances being sent out as of yesterday."
"What?" Harry said as he heard that last two allowances. Blood pounded in his ears and he barely registered the fact that the goblins had stopped all payments. His anger grew and several items in the room began to shake as his magic leaked out. He felt Draco's hand on his arm and he slowly began to calm down. He'd noticed over the last few days that Draco seemed to have that effect upon him and that his mood would lighten whenever there was physical contact between the two of them. He had no idea why the other boy had that affect on him, but right at that moment he wasn't going to complain.
"Who is he Harry?" Draco asked. He'd never heard the name Tom Riddle and had no idea why Harry was so upset by the name. He also couldn't figure out why his father had been accessing the vault. He had thought he knew all of his father's associates at least by name. Who was this Tom Riddle?
Harry raised his wand and repeated what Tom Riddle had done in the Chamber of Secrets. He wrote out the full name and then changed it to "I am Lord Voldemort". "I've been supporting Voldemort all these years," he said with both disgust and anger in his voice.
"I never knew his real name," Snape muttered. He had to wonder what else Harry knew about Voldemort, however he would ask about that later. Perhaps he could find information out on Tom Riddle so that they could discredit him to Death Eaters and to the public. It was something for him to think on.
"Did Dumbledore set up those allowances?" Harry asked. His magic and anger were barely under control at this point. He knew if it weren't for Draco beside him he would have lost it completely. What all had that bastard been doing?
"Yes he did," Silva said making note of who Tom Riddle was so he could inform Lord Gringotts. "We will make sure that everything that is in Tom Riddle's name is confiscated. Although officially we are neutral in this matter, we do not support him and we do all we can to make sure he does not prosper."
"Any evidence you have that Dumbledore set up the allowances to be paid to him and Bellatrix we shall need a copy of," Snape said. This they could use against Dumbledore. This would be the evidence they needed to show to the multitude that the old goat was not the benevolent leader of the light everyone thought he was.
"If it is at all possible, may we please have a copy of the evidence?" Harry asked of Silva. "We are working to get enough evidence together to make sure that the DMLE goes after Dumbledore," he explained hoping that doing so would give the goblin reason to turn it over.
Silva smiled at hearing that bit of news and nodded. "I shall check with Lord Gringotts on the matter and if he will allow it than I shall send it to you," he told Harry.
"Thank you," Harry said. "Would you also send a copy to Mr. Wells for me?" Seeing Silva nod he started to relax a bit. "See if you can confiscate all paid amounts from those who received it since they weren't authorized by my legal guardian or me." He thought over the allowances given thinking mostly about Hermione's. It appeared as if she didn't receive any direct money. Would she be expelled from Hogwarts now that the money wasn't coming? "Wait on the one going to Granger. I will decide on that one at a later date." He would try to talk with her privately to see what exactly the girl had been doing and why.
"That is already in the works Harry, but I will make sure that the Granger one isn't touched," Silva stated. "Not only will they be confiscated, but fines shall be enforced, if not on the account that was paid than on the person who authorized it to be paid. In other words, Dumbledore will pay the extra fine which can be up to fifty percent of the money that was stolen."
"Thank you," Harry stated. He had to wonder if Dumbledore would have enough money to cover the fines, but if not he was sure the goblins would figure out a way to get it from him in some form or another. Now that he was calming down again he was feeling very drained. He wasn't sure if he could take much more of learning how Dumbledore had betrayed him. He needed a bit of a break. Right then a firewhiskey sounded good to him. "If there is nothing else that needs to be discussed today I think we shall head for Grimmauld place. I shall look over this file tonight and if I have any questions I shall ask them tomorrow if that is all right with you Silva. For now I would prefer you stay as the accounts manager," he added. So far, Silva had impressed him with his sense of humor and his honesty.
"Thank you Harry. There is one thing before you go," Silva stated as he reached for a box on his desk and then passed it to Harry. "This is the Potter ancestral ring. You should wear it on your right hand," he explained. "It declares who you are, but also grants some magical protection since you are the head of the line."
Taking the ring Harry slid it onto his finger and felt the magic of the ring accept him. It automatically resized to fit him so that it fit snugly and would not come off easily. Knowledge of the past wearers flooded his mind causing him to tremble and sway slightly unsure of how to make heads or tails of the information. It would take time to sort through; something that could wait for the moment. For now, he pushed it to the back of his thoughts so he could concentrate on the here and now. "Thank you," he told him as he got his bearings once more. He now needed to rest; it had all just been a bit much for him. The ring and the information it imparted to him was the straw that broke the camel's back. He was totally drained and he knew he had a busy night ahead of him so would need the rest before the meeting he'd setup for that evening. He turned to the others, "I wasn't expecting that," he muttered.
Draco put his hand on Harry's elbow to help steady him. He remembered what it had been like when he'd placed the Malfoy ring on his hand. "Just take a few deep breaths Harry, it will pass," he told him. He looked at Silva, "Would it be possible to use your floo?" He didn't think that Harry was up to walking the distance right then and if Dumbledore or the Weasleys were waiting outside for them he doubted Harry would be able to hold his temper.
"Of course," Silva stated and moved to lead the way towards the private floo area that was accessible only for special clients. "I shall see you in the morning and if any new information comes in between now and at that time I will let you know."
"Thank you. You have been most helpful," Harry told him. "Severus what about the Fidelius Charm?" he asked only to then realize he'd been talking about the place with ease the whole afternoon.
"Once Black blocked Dumbledore and the order from any of his properties then the Fidelius Charm collapsed," Severus explained. "Draco shall be able to floo there without a problem. Once there I shall check the other wards and protections do not worry."
Harry nodded his thanks to Severus. He smiled at Silva before letting Draco help him with the floo. He was very glad when the other boy slipped his arm about his waist and held onto him. He tried not to think about how nice it felt to be so close to Draco. He just tried to concentrate on the fact that for once he wouldn't land on his face when they arrived at their destination.
