Chapter 9
When Sirius got out to the pitch, he looked around for Harry. Once he found him he yelled,
"Hey Harry can you come here?" Harry stopped mid flight looking around for who had yelled. Once he realized who and where it came from he went into a dive and landed beside Sirius.
"God Harry, are you trying to give me a heart attack."
"Sorry Siri, but I've been doing that since first year, you know that." Harry replied.
"Yeah I did know that, but seeing it is another thing."
"So what did you need Siri?"
"I wanted to ask what you thought about Sev and I getting married?" Harry stood there thinking for a minute.
"Well Siri, I think it would be great. So when are you going to ask him?"
"Well he and I were fixing to go out, so I thought about doing it then. But I wanted to see what you thought before I did it."
"That's great Siri. I still have some thinking to do so I'm going to stay here. But before you leave I have a question."
"Okay Harry. What is it?"
"Well what do you think of Draco and I becoming friends maybe more down the line?"
"Harry, if that is what you truly want then go for it." Harry smiled.
"Oh and Harry, I would try writing to him. Just see if he will write back."
"Okay Siri, I will think about it. Have fun tonight with Severus, and please remember silencing charms. Just because I am gay doesn't mean I want to hear the two of you go at it." Harry said with a smirk, Sirius blushed deep red and mumbled something about sure thing brat. Sirius walked back into the house and Harry took off flying again.
Sirius walked into the library and saw Severus reading. When Severus heard the door open he looked up and smiled.
"Come on Sev, lets go out to eat."
"Okay love." They flooed to the Three Broom Sticks and sat down. Tom came over and they gave their order.
"Be right back Sev."
"Okay love." Sirius walked over to Tom and told him what was going on and Tom agreed to help. Severus was watching the entire time Sirius was gone.
'What is he up to now?' Severus sat there thinking. He knew something was going on but couldn't figure out what it was. He saw Sirius give Tom some money and then he walked back over to the table.
"Sirius love, what is going on?"
"Nothing you need to worry about right now Sev."
"But Siri I just saw you talking to Tom, I also saw you give him some money. Please tell me."
"I should have know you would see that, please Sev its a surprise. Don't ruin it please."
"Okay love but don't keep me waiting to long." Sirius leaned across the table and kissed him.
"Promise Sev." Tom brought the food out. As Severus took his food he looked around and realized the place was empty. He got very suspicious. As Severus went to take a bite of his food he realized there was something shiny in his food. He looked closer and realized it was a ring. When he looked up at Sirius, he wasn't in his chair anymore. He was on one knee beside Severus.
"Severus Snape, I love you more than I have ever loved anyone before. I will always love you. I know we have been through quite a lot, and we still managed to stay together. Will you marry me Sev?" Severus sat there staring. at Sirius. This was the last thing he expected. Sirius was sitting there watching all the emotions flash across Severus' face, he was starting to get worried.
"Sev, please say something."
"I wasn't expecting this Siri. Give me a second." Sirius gave him a look.
"What the hell, yes of course I will." Sirius' face broke out in the biggest smile.
"So do I have to put the ring on or are you going to do it?"
"I am of course." And Sirius slipped the ring on.
"So this is what you were planning?"
"Yeah, it was." Severus smiled and kissed Sirius like he never had before. When they pulled away to breath and Severus looked at Sirius, he smirked.
"I have a question." Sirius said.
"Okay what is it love?"
"It that smirk a Slytherin trait or something?" "As far as I know, no love why?"
"Because Harry does it all the time and so does pretty much every other Slytherin I have ever met."
"I'm not sure. Speaking of Harry, what is her going to say about us being engaged?"
"He is fine with it. I asked him already."
"Well love you thought of everything didn't you?" Sirius smiled.
"Lets go home Sev. I'm not really that hungry for this anymore." Severus smirked.
"Okay love, lets go." They got up and flooed straight to their room in the manor.
Harry had come in about an hour after Sirius and Severus left. He told Tilly he only wanted a sandwich and some pumpkin juice for dinner. After he ate he took a shower. When he got out an owl was waiting for him. He went over untied it and read.
Harry,
Of course there is something else you can call me. It's Osiris. I hope that helps. And no this isn't the Weasley twins. Yes i am a bloke. It's really hard to see you and not talk to you. -Osiris-
Harry took out some parchment, a quill, and ink and wrote his reply.
Osiris,
I like the name by the way. Egyptian isn't it? If it isn't then I don't get it. You could have just come and talked to me. -Harry-
Harry tied the letter to the owl and watched it take off out into the night sky. Harry laid down and went to sleep.
As Harry woke up he put on his glasses and looked around. He grinned when he saw the owl waiting for him. He pulled the letter off and read it.
Harry,
Yes it is Egyptian. The last line was another clue. But it is one you will have to figure out on your own. I really couldn't come talk to you, the way I was raised you don't do that and not get into trouble. Clue number four was in that. -Osiris-
Harry pulled out his writing supplies and replied,
Osiris,
What do you mean the way you were raised? Are you a pure blood? Even if you are, you still could have talked to me. That doesn't matter tome. Am I ever gonna get to know who you are? If you do tell me I won't freak out. I promise. And I never break a promise. -Harry-

He tied it to the owl and took it to the window. It flew off. Harry went and took a shower then went down to breakfast.
