Severus wakes the next morning and sees Harry's message. He smiles
Good morning Harry, I suppose I'll keep you.
He writes before getting ready for his day.
Harry ended up oversleeping that morning, and he opened his curtains, and everyone was already gone. "Shit" he said aloud and quickly changed looking at the time, He had only 15 minutes to get to Severus's class. He grabbed his bag and looked at the morning message in the journal, making his whole face light up.
Morning. That means a lot. See you in a few minutes.

He quickly closed it and put it in his bag and slung it over his shoulder making his way to class, he would be starving by lunch but oh well. Seeing the man, he loved was so much more worth it.
Severus starts his class first class and his sixth years flood in as he's writing directions on the board. " Today we will be brewing the draught of peace, obviously from its name you can understand that it creates feelings of peace in the drinker, now it is quite different from your general calming draught. The instructions are on the board. Get started." He says
Harry takes his seat next to Hermione and looked down at his book to hide the hint of blush that crossed his face in seeing Severus. He managed to make it through the class without smiling or giving anything away, yet he was thinking of how his lips tasted. His potion turned out well and he headed out of the classroom at the end of class, shooting Severus a quick look before heading out.
Severus nods and taps the little notebook on his desk so Harry can see him as the class is dismissed.
Harry got the hint and as soon as they got to charms, he took out his journal, his charms still in place this time it looked like his charms book.
You'll keep me huh?
Harry wrote trying to look like he was paying attention in class

Severus writes as his next class works on their potions.
I would very much like that. I'm still in shock that this is really happening.
Severus chuckles to himself.
You're in shock? From my memory you're the one who started this, so now you're shocked that I accepted you? Why wouldn't I?
Of course, I'm in shock, you have taken rather well to the fact that I'm Harry Potter.
Well the fact is I never let myself get to know Harry Potter, I had some ideas about him that proved false but I never let myself get to know who you were, but I did get to know you through our letters, I found myself quite attached to that person. I'll admit it was a shock, but I'm not upset or turned off that it's you.
I'm extremely glad that you did. May I come over for tea tonight after dinner?
Yes, of course you may, if we are to be courting, we need to start spending more time together.

Anytime is good for me. I will be there. I hope I did well in potions not to give anything away. It's so hard to be in a room with you without looking at you.
I didn't know you couldn't look at me, though paying attention so you can learn the material is the priority.
I understand, I hope I have showed you I have at least some competence in potions.
Yes, actually you've been doing quite well, I'm proud of you. From what I understand you have been preforming quite well in all your classes.

I'd call that a win. Charms is just as boring as always. At least I will see you at lunch.

The day went slow, except for meals because they were in each other's presence. Harry pocketed his gift for Severus and headed down so he would be at the door right at 7 waiting. Knocking he waited for the door to open.
Severus hears the expected knock on the door and opens it ushering Harry in. " I have ordered tea. " He says.
Harry smiles coming in. "I have a gift for you" He said pulling it from his robes. Harry held it out and hands it to Severus.
Severus chuckles but takes the gift. " Thank you." He says. "Please sit" he invites
Harry walks over to the seat he had taken the night before. "I hope your day was ok" Harry said feeling nervous. He shouldn't though, this was Sev. But this situation was new.
Severus nods and sits in his chair. Opening the gift harry has brought to pull out a rare first edition book. " Thank you Harry" he says looking it over before putting it aside. " Well I'm glad you could make it tonight. My day was tolerable, and yours?" He asks pouring them both teas.
You know the classes and the teachers. I'm always lucky if I stay awake with their monotone teaching. But I knew I would see you this evening, so my day went well" Harry said making a cup of tea
Severus nods," Yes very few of the teachers make their classes at all fun, Sprout tries, as does Minerva and Hagrid, the rest don't care. " He says.
"Hagrid doesn't even have to try, he's always loveable" Harry said sipping from his cup and smiling.
Severus nods, " True, I don't know him well, but he's always treated me with kindness." He says
Harry sat his cup down on the table. "So, I find it hard to gather words now that you know it's me" Harry said gazing at the man and then to the fire.
Severus nods, " I suppose we should talk about that. I understand it's quite a shock to you that I didn't just toss you out on your ear. I suppose in a way it is to me too but I opened myself up to you when I didn't know who you were and I guess knowing who you are doesn't remove what I felt for you then, so I want to get to know you the real you without any subterfuge." He says and stands moving to the sofa "Come, sit with me. "
Harry smiled and joined Severus on the couch leaving a few inches between them. "When did you know?" Harry asked, "When did you know it didn't matter who I was?"
Severus frowns, " The thought a few months ago, it solidified during our first date in Hogsmeade. " He says. " And when was it you decided you wanted me?" He asks. And then looks at Harry, " is there a reason your sitting so far away?" He asks putting an arm out in invitation.
"I wanted so badly to meet as myself, I hope you really do get my reasoning for staying hidden so long. Harry was surprised at Severus's question and leaned into the arm given. "A gentleman never assumes" he said
Severus chuckles, " Well I appreciate that but your welcome he says and wraps the arm around Harry. " That doesn't answer my question, when did you decide that you wanted to pursue me?" He asks
"It was a process of sorts. Every time I saw you something else would catch my attention, then I found myself thinking about you when I didn't see you, somehow between my thoughts and my dreams I fell for you the more I learned about you. The more I could see we were living in the same hell but just on opposite ends. From then on, I wanted nothing than to reach out for you, to you. Then Hermione mentioned courting. I learned as much as I could and figured even if you didn't accept me once you knew me, I would have at least a little bit of time to love you" Harry said wrapped in Severus's arms.
Severus nods " We do have far more in common that I would have anticipated." He agrees easily " well for whatever it's worth, I'm glad you took the risk. " He says.
Harry nodded. "So am I, I don't know what my world would look like without Severus Snape in it" Harry smiled and rearranged them so they held each other. "Is this ok?" Harry asked
Severus nods as they relax into the couch. " Yes, it's fine." He then sighs, " unfortunately I now understand why you said us being together would make things harder, we'll have to keep it under wraps until Riddle is dealt with. " He says.
"I'm sure there is a lot more you understand now as well?" Harry asked
Severus nods, " Yes I put the pictures of you and JL together." He says, " did you mean something specific?" He asks.
"Well yes and no, Now I'm sure you see how it all lines up. I did my best not to lie to you, not outright. And I'm sure you also understand my reaction when we spoke about being lovers" Harry blushed a bit. He couldn't go any further without this coming up.
Severus nods," I have a good idea, now yes, considering your age, I had thought you to be a bit older than sixteen. " He says.
"I wasn't honest about that. I've never been with anyone." Harry quickly followed that up with "and you're still ok with the age difference?
Severus nods," I said I was alright with anything above the age of consent. You are indeed above that, so no I don't see an issue, you're much more mature than your age indicates" he says
Harry nodded and left it at that. He closed his eyes for a moment, just taking the man in. The way his arms felt around his body, his scent that would forever be in Harry's mind, this beautiful man had accepted him.
They sit and cuddle on the couch talking to each other softly as they while away the evening.
"Looks like I need to be going, it's getting close to curfew" Harry said shifting
Severus nods reluctantly and let's Harry go. " Yes, I suppose you should, you are welcome to join me like that after dinner whenever you have a mind to do so. " He says
" I would like that" Harry said brushing his robes down. "Though it will feel like an eternity." Harry said walking towards the door.
Severus nods," I'll see you tomorrow Harry." He says as the young man leaves. And sighs, " he had gone and fallen in love with a teenager.
Harry nods and smiles closing the door softly behind him and leaned against the wall outside of Severus's door. "I love you" He whispered and then pulled himself off the wall and headed for the tower to get ready for bed. He climbed in and he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, not even having time to write goodnight.
