Daphne placed the accounting books back down. “Well, at least we know it is only your Aunt and Uncle that has stolen from you, and that will be easy to get back,” I told Jasmine.
Daphne grabbed Jasmine and pulled Jasmine against her. It was still early in the morning, and we had not agreed to meet Hermione until after dinner. She was no doubt still in the library, looking for a charm to breathe underwater. The Gillyweed was the best option. Not only did it allow you to breathe underwater, but it also gave you fins to move about underwater better.
“So Jasmine, now you are going to tell me about the 1st three years at Hogwarts,” I told her while cuddling her.
“What do you want to know?” Jasmine asked me.
“Everything important. You pick what you think is important,” I told Jasmine while playing with her hair.
“Well, hmm… It all started on my 1st trip to Gringotts. While there, Hagrid took something out of a vault that he said was top secret. I didn’t think much of it that day as I was busy looking at all the magic around me. Then Dumbledore, at the opening feast, said about the 3rd-floor corridor and dying a most painful death. I thought about the package Hagrid got, but I still didn’t know what it was.” Jasmine started to explain.
“A few days after the opening feast, Hagrid asked me down for tea which I brought Ron with me. On his table was an article about Gringotts being robbed. The vault was emptied earlier that day; it was the same vault number that Hagrid and I visited.
Then Malfoy challenged me to a wizards duel. Something that I knew nothing about, Ron accepted it on my behalf, I learned after the fact. So later that night, we went to the prearranged location for the duel, with Hermione coming along as she got locked outside the common room when she tried to talk us out of going to the duel. Draco had told Filch that we would be in the room at night to get us caught.” Jasmine said, still annoyed at Draco. That makes sense; not showing up to a wizard’s duel is a big slight.
“We ended up on the 3rd floor and found out what was in the room was a giant three-headed dog. Once we ran away and got back to the common room, Hermione said that the dog was sitting on top of a trap door and was guarding something, so I found out where the package was being hidden.” Jasmine said, taking a deep breath.
“While talking to Hagrid, he let slip that the thing that the dog was guarding was between Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel, which was our next big clue...”
“Wait, Nicolas Flamel, it was guarding the Philosopher's Stone??” Daphne cut Jasmine off.
“What err ya… don’t ruin my story”, Jasmine pouted.
“Sorry, continue, Jasmine,” Daphne said, kissing her neck.
“So that was our next big clue, but no matter how much we looked, we couldn’t find anything about him as anything about him was from 600 years ago, and we were looking at recent events. For Christmas, Dumbledore gave me my family invisibility cloak back, which I tried to use to sneak into the restricted section of the library. Still, the first book I opened screamed.” Jasmine explained.
“When escaping from the library, I ended up in a room with the Mirror of Erised. I hate that mirror. It shows you your deepest and most desperate desire, which was for me was my family. I had never seen them before, and the mirror had me ensnared immediately.” Jasmine said sadly.
“There is nothing wrong with knowing your desire as long as you don’t get lost in it.” Daphne comforted Jasmine. “I am sure the mirror has gotten a lot of people much older than you.”
“Anyway, the mirror had its claws in me for three days before the headmaster snapped me out of it and moved the mirror. After Christmas, when everyone had returned, Hermione remembered that she had read a book that mentioned Nicolas Flamel. That is when we knew what was hidden in the school.
Near the end of the school year, we were sure that Snape was trying to steal the stone. I know it sounds stupid now, but we were eleven, and we tried to tell a teacher, but they just brushed us off. So we thought we had no choice but to stop Snape ourselves. We had learned from Hagrid that the three-headed dog, which he called Fluffy, would fall asleep as long as you played music to it, so that is how we got past the dog.
Dropping through the trap door was Devil’s Snare, which we got past thanks to Hermione remembering that it hates sunlight. The next challenge after that was to catch a key while on a broomstick which was really easy. After that, we had to do a chess game which, thanks to Ron, was super easy due to all the chess he plays. The next obstacle was a Troll, but it was already beaten by whoever came before us; we didn’t have to do anything with that.
The last test was a riddle with potions with the way forward blocked by fire. I couldn’t work it out, but I had the brightest witch of our age on my side. It took Hermione maybe three or four minutes to work out which potion I needed to drink to go forward.” Jasmine said, taking a breath to calm herself.
“It was there I met who was trying to steal the stone. Hmm, want to make a bet?” Jasmine asked me.
“Oh, and what would we be betting?” Daphne asked back.
“Err, hmm well, I mean you can technically order me to do anything but how about getting piercings?” Jasmine offered.
“Well, I was going to get them for you regardless. How about a tattoo? I was going to wait much longer to have one done for you.” Daphne offered back.
“Err, well okay, sure nothing too big or anything though, right?” Jasmine asked hesitantly.
“Nope, I promise it won’t be big, and most people will never even see it,” Daphne promised.
“Okay, deal, the bet is to guess who was after the stone,” Jasmine asked.
“Well, only one teacher went missing or left, so it was Quirrell,” Daphne told her.
Jasmine blushed and looked away. Daphne wondered if she made a bet on purpose. “We will get your tattoo and your piercings next time we go to Diagon Alley. Remember to bring your invisibility cloak. We will go at the same time. I am meant to pick up my monthly potions, which is in three days.”
“Yes, mistress. It was Quirrell. He was looking into the Mirror of Erised. He could see what he wanted but not how to get it, which is why I guess Dumbledore picked the mirror. As he was looking into the mirror, a second voice told him to use the girl, so he made me look into the mirror. At the time, I thought that I needed to find the stone to hide it. When I looked into the mirror, I saw myself holding the stone and then putting it into my pocket and then I felt the actual stone in my pocket.
I tried to lie and say that I saw my parents as I was sure that he would buy that, which he did. He pushed me away from the mirror, and I thought that I had tricked him, but the voice from before said ‘She lies She lies’ and said that he would face me.
Quirrell turned around and took off his turban, and he had Voldemort’s face on the back of his head. He demanded the Stone, or he would kill me like my parents. I tried to run away, but he made fire cover the exit, so I was stuck there. I am not sure what happened, but he burned on contact when he tried to touch me, so I grabbed onto him, following my gut instinct. I don’t remember what exactly happened as I passed out shortly after.” Jasmine finished.
“That was my first year,” Jasmine said with a shrug.
“You should be glad I wasn’t your mistress back then, or you would have earned a lot of spanks for getting into so much trouble,” Daphne warned her, annoyed she put herself in so much danger.
“Yes, mistress, sorry, mistress. Jasmine replied, sulking.
“Okay, what about the second year,” Daphne asked.
“Well, can I just give the short version that happened?” Jasmine asked.
“Hmm, sure, but I will ask questions if I want more information.”
“Okay, well, a house-elf told me that I am not allowed to return to Hogwarts; when I said that it was my home. He used magic to get me in trouble which caused my Aunt and Uncle to lock me in my room and bar the windows so I couldn’t escape.
The Weasleys, Ron and the twins came and broke me out, and I spent summer with them. When we tried to get on the train, the House-elf blocked the entrance, so we couldn’t get on the train in the hope that we wouldn’t be able to go if we missed the train.
So we stole the car and flew to Hogwarts as we didn’t think. Then everything was quiet till Halloween when I heard a voice, and following it, we got to the place with the blood on the walls about the chamber. I didn’t tell anyone about the voice I heard, as hearing voices is terrible in the muggle world. I didn’t think it would be a good idea, not that it stopped people from thinking I was the Heir of Slytherin.
After a few more attacks, we were sure that Malfoy had something to do with it or at least knew something, so Hermione made some polyjuice potion so we could ask him while being Crabbe and Goyle.
Hermione was meant to take the potion, but she had picked some cat hair so couldn’t come with us. In the end, he knew nothing. It wasn’t too much longer till Hermione was attacked. I had found a dairy that would talk back to whoever wrote in it, and it showed me that Hagrid had opened the Chamber of Secrets fifty years ago. Jasmine explained.
“Wait, you found a magic book that could think for its self and just kept using it,” Daphne asked, her eyebrow twitching.
“I was muggle raised; no one ever told me what not to trust in the magic world,” Jasmine said, pouting at Daphne.
Taking a deep breath to calm her self “Okay, continue”, Daphne said.
“Right, so we went to ask Hagrid about it as it made no sense for him to have opened the Chamber of Secrets when we got there. Before we could ask him, someone knocked at his door, and it turned out to be the Minister of Magic who had come to take Hagrid to Azkaban for reopening the chamber.
As he was leaving, he said to follow the spider, clearly talking to Ron and me, so that’s what we did a few days later, which lead us into the forbidden forest where we came across Aragog who..” Jasmine tried to carry on.
“Wait, WAIT!! Who the hell is Aragog, and why was he living in the forest.” Daphne asked.
“Well, err he Hagrids friend”, Jasmine tried to skip over.
“Ya got that? Why does he live in the forest? What sort of person lives in the forbidden forest.” Daphne pressed Jasmine.
“Well, he’s not a person… he’s sort of a big spider….” Jasmine replied while trying to look innocent.
“Sort of a spider…. Jasmine, don’t tell me you walked into an Acromantula den….” Daphne said with a scary calm voice.
Jasmine said nothing and avoided looking at Daphne.
“Jasmine!!” Daphne asked angrily.
“You said don’t tell you….” Jasmine said quietly.
“I am adding 10 Spanks to your punishment tonight. Continue your story,” Daphne said.
Jasmine blushed and wriggled a bit. “Well, the spider said that it wasn’t the creature in the chamber, so we left and….” Jasmine tried to hurry on.
“Somehow, I doubt the Acromantula just left you to leave. They like the taste of human flesh,” Daphne said, her eye twitching.
“Well, anyway, after that, we were in the hospital wing. I can’t remember why exactly, but we were talking to Hermione, and that’s when I noticed some paper in her hand which gave away what was in the chamber and how it was getting around via the pipes.”
“And what was in the chamber? You left it out,” Daphne asked while narrowing her eyes.
“It would ruin the surprise. Anyway, we left to go show the teachers what Hermione found. Still, as we did, we overheard them talking about a girl being taken into the chamber of the secrets. We learned that it was Ginny, so we went to Gilderoy. Yes, it was stupid. But we were only 12, and he was the DADA teacher.
We learned that the person who died 50 years ago was Moaning Myrtle, so we went to ask what happened to her, and we knew that the sinks in her bathroom were the entrance into the chamber of secrets. Jumping down with the teacher when we got to the bottom, he pretended to faint and stole Ron’s wand.
He then confessed that everything he did in his books was fake and that he used memory charms to steal other people’s work after tracking them down. He said that this will make a fantastic book and say goodbye to our memories, but Ron’s wand has been broken for ages, so when he tried to do the charm, the wand exploded and caused a cave-in.
Which split us up, so I had to go ahead alone. When I entered the chamber, Ginny was in the middle. I ran over to check her and dropped my wand as I tried to check if she was okay, which is when a boy call Tom Riddle came out and revealed that he opened the chamber and was Voldemort, the son of a squib and a muggle.
He called the monster a giant snake….” Jasmine tried to gloss over it.
“Oh, and what animal was this giant snake…. Jasmine, and if you lie, you’re getting 10 more spanks,” Daphne threatened her.
“It was a Basilisk. Anyway, Fawkes came to my rescue and blinded the Basilisk allowing me to look around without worrying that I would die. I managed to pull the sword of Gryffindor out of the sorting hat. Using that, I stabbed the basilisk through the mouth, but I got stabbed with a fang. Fawkes used his tears to heal me, and I stabbed the diary with the fang which destroyed Voldy, and that was the end of the 2nd year.” Jasmine finished up.
“I feel like you glossed over a ton of things, and we will be going to the medical wing tomorrow, and you will be checked out. For now, we need to go meet Hermione for your swimming lesson.
