  "Professor Binns, may I borrow Mr. Weasley, Miss
  Granger, and Mr. Potter?" asked McGonagall.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  The professor stopped his droning and looked up.

  "I need to see Mr. Weasley, Miss Granger and Mr.

  And within a second, he was back into his lecture. Harry,
  Ron and Hermione were all exchanging looks. When they got out into the hall,
  they were met by Ginny who was looking worried.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  "What's going on Professor?" askeasked of her.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  "Dumbledore would like to see you all" was all the
  answer they could get from her.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  Several minutes passed in silence as they walked through the
  winding corridors to the headmaster's office.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  “Jelly slugs.”

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  The gargoyle sprang to life and all five stepped onto the
  moving stairs. McGonagall entered the office, followed by the other four.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  “Please, sit down,” requested Dumbledore. After all had a
  seat he continued, “It seems that Voldemort has conducted another attack.”
  Hermione tensed immediately. “In light of the circumstances, I will be sending
  you, Ron and Ginny to headquarters until tim time that your father can join
  you. I do not wish to cause a panic, but the Burrow was attacked early this
  morning and at this point your mother is still missing.”

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  Ron had jumped out of his chair. Dumbledore held up a hand
  to stop him. “We are working tirelessly to find her.”

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  “Yeah!? What about Snape!? Why didn’t he tell you they were
  going to attack?” Ron yelled immediately.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  Snape slid out of the shadows behind them. “Unfortunately
  Mr. Weasley, the Dark Lord did not give me knowledge of this particular
  attack.”

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  Dumbledore jumped into the conversation quickly to stop an
  argument. “I would like to get you to your father as soon as possible, you’ll
  take this port key. You will both be excused from end of term exams. Mr. Potter
  and Miss Granger will be joining you at the end of the week when term ends. Now

  Harry and Hermione where excused from classes until after lunch
  and took the time to speculate the wherabouts of Molly Weasley.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  “They’ll probably hold her captive,” Harry thought out loud.
  “Ask for ransom or something like that”

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  “Harry, don’t be thick, you know that if Malfoy got hold of
  her….” Hermione didn’t want to think of what might have happened to her at the
  hands of Malfoy.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  “He said there was nothing left of the Burrow, what if she’s
  dead and just buried in the rubble. And where are they going to live?”

  “At headquarters I should guess. Where else would they go?
  It isn’t like there aren’t enough spaoomsooms. I don’t image Mr. Weasley would
  want to go back to the Burrow without Mrs. Weasley.”

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  Harry’s eyes always showed his emotions and Hermione
  realized too late what she had said. Instead of Kreacher hoarding the Black
  family heirlooms, you were likely to find several of them stashed in Harry’s
  trunk. It still bothered him greatly when he was at 12 Grimmauld Place. She
  knew he still had the nightmares.

  
  
  

   

  
  
  

  After what seemed like years, the end of the week arrived
  with the Hogwarts Express ready to take the students home. While Harry and
  Hermione were looking forward to being back with Ron and all the Weasleys,
  everyone have been growing more and more concerned the longer Molly Weasley was
