While \"The Lion and the Veela\" takes place before \"My Mate\", it is not necessary to read it first. This story will not be updated as often because it is a backstory and \"My Mate\" will take precedence over this story. That being said, I will try to upload a new chapter at least once a week.
This story begins during the last few months of the War against Voldemort. Michelle Delacour is a scientist and a veela. When her job becomes dangerous, Bill Weasley is assigned to protect her. Sparks fly and tempers heat up and veela instincts surface.
