Did you read the summary? Good.
If you haven't read the Arc (what there is, at least), then read the Prologue, then read what I have up of the Arc, then come back. Easy enough, right?
Backstories are just that, for Original Characters in the Arc.
Sidefics are. . . stories that happen in the Arc universe, but don't directly bear on the story-line itself.
I hope I don't have to explain the concept of a Prologue. . .
