Title: Restituo Vastatio (formerly Ilkeä but I decided to change that cause finnish, not a major part of the story, I just thought it sounded cool)

Summary: A collision of two dark spells makes the impossible happen and gives life to a portrait leading to one Harry Potter's descent into the dark arts.

Ilkeä - Prologue

“Avada Kedavra!”

It was one of the very few curses audible in this duel. The speed of the curses traded was so great that one could barely see the disappearance and reappearance of Dumbledore as he teleported with a swish of his cloak and reappeared about two meters away from the spot where a now blackened mark could be seen - the result of the Killing curse hitting the rotten floors of Number 12 Grimmauld Place’s gloomy main corridor. He did not waste time and send a powerful beam of pure white light at his serpentine opponent only to see it swatted away like an annoying fly by the other’s shimmering translucent shield.

The duel went on and on with neither of the two fighters showing any signs of giving up while they danced around the dusty old rooms of the Most Nobel and Ancient House of Black, whose other occupants had long ago taken cover, fled or engaged themselves in the fight as soon as the Dark Lord and his faithful lapdogs the Death Eaters had stormed the house. But the two powerful wizards didn’t acknowledge the men fighting and dieing around them as they gave all they had in a duel that could decide the destiny of not only the wizard world but the muggle one as well.

It was then, long minutes after the first spell had been shot, that the two found themselves facing each other in a rather crammed bedroom on the third floor.

"Ready to give up Dumbledore? To die like a true hero?" you could hear the disgust dripping off of the last word understated by the Dark Lord’s slight hissing way of pronunciation.

"It is time to end this Tom; it is time you face the consequences of your actions."

"As you wish old man. Die!" he screamed, spittle flying everywhere. You could almost see the dark rage pouring off of him. But Dumbledore didn’t wait for the Dark Lord to recover as he shot a curse at him. By the look on Voldemort's face, you could see he wasn't expecting the leader of the light forces to use the curse the deemed embodiment of white wizardry did.

"Tillitetgöra!" it was a bilious curse, pure black. Voldemort may have been taken aback at the use of it, but he wasn’t stupid. He apparated away before the curse could hit, and he took the chance to throw one last ‘Avada Kedavra’ at Dumbledore before he disappeared. The force of the two powerful dark spells colliding into one another caused them to ricochet into the closest portrait, which happened to be that of Phineas Nigellus Black who had been unfortunate enough to get stuck in that particular portrait . His painted face barely had the time to express his disbelief and fear as the beam smashed into the canvas.

When the dust cleared away the room was bare, both the Headmaster of Hogwarts and his enemy the Lord of Darkness gone from the demolished area. The painting too was gone, and a naked body curled in the fetal position was lying on the floor, just below the area the painting had once been in.
