Prologue
If I had known then, what I know now, would I have done it? Could I have gone through with it the way I did, knowing the consequences.
I don't think so. I drink my gillywater, and I think about the past, and I wonder what I could have done differently. That's what I do now. I think. I ponder, I muse, I contemplate.
My friends call it brooding, but there's just so much to look back on, and wonder. And I do wonder. My curiousity is almost insatiable. I think that this is what triggered it all. The small flap of a butterfly's wings, my ceaseless searching. The tempest of the results...
I believe that the proper term is, the butterfly effect. The butterfly flaps its wings in the Amazon, and there is a storm in Texas.
The butterfly; I was curious.
The storm; I changed... everything.
