Summary:� We all have
our secrets, like how Draco�s mother was actually an American muggle who saved his
father�s life on a visit to the states.�
Or how Lily Evans was actually adopted after her superhero parents were
murdered.� Now Draco and Harry find out
just how odd they really are when their true powers awaken.

Set after the fifth year and after the first film.� Sophomore year for Will and his crew, but
Warren is a junior.

Chapter 1

Awakening

Draco sat before the fire place, shaking softly.� Surely his father would kill him for being a
freak.� Surely he would be skinned alive
and hung from meat hooks until he died from blood loss or infection.

�Draco, you wanted to speak with me.�

Draco gave a soft nod before looking at his hands.� He couldn�t bring himself to look into his
father�s eyes.

�I�I was in the woods earlier today, I had promised Uncle
Severus that I would go find some potion ingredients for him.� I didn�t bring my wand because there are no
magical creatures in the forest out back.�
But there was�a wolf.� I�I didn�t
know what to do.� I didn�t have a wand; I
only had the basket I was collecting ingredients in.� It attacked and I�I��

Lucius� eyes widened.

�Did it hurt you Draco?��
He started looking over his son�s body, touching to see if it made the
boy wince, it didn�t.

�No, I killed the wolf.�
I�I made it explode by sending a jet of light at it.� I...don�t know how it happened�I just�I��

Lucius smiled fondly at his son and wrapped his arms around
him.

�It is time I told you a family secret.� Narcissia is not your mother.�

Draco looked up with wide eyes.

�What?�

�Your mother is American, her name is�was�Eva Tanner.� I was visiting the states when a fight broke
out.� A super villain was trying to
destroy the city, and a super hero came to stop him.� She saved my life and in turn I saved
hers.� We spent one night together and
then�she found me a few months later, told me that I was going to be a
father.� She was killed when you were
two.� That is when I met Narcissia and
she agreed to be your new mother.� Your
real mother had the ability to blow things up.�
She told me that you may inherit it if my magic didn�t interfere.� But most get their power before their teen
years.� I had thought that it wouldn�t
manifest in you.�

Lucius stood and pulled his son with me.

�I will contact a school in America, the school your mother
went to.� They will help you with your
powers and to learn about heroes and villains.�
The school is called Sky High.�

�But what about Hogwarts.�

�It is best that you are away from that school.� I do not trust it to remain safe with
Voldemort trying to rise to power.�

Vernon, Petunia, and Dudley Dursley looked at Harry with
wide eyes.� Aunt Marge was crying as she
looked at the now lifeless body of her beloved dog.

�What have you done?�
What have you done to him you freak!?��
Marge held her bleeding dog and Harry backed up.�

He hadn�t meant to, but that dog was mean and vicious.� Harry had simply walked into the room to
serve dinner and the thing had attacked his leg.� Somehow Harry�s very bad wound had healed
quickly, and as the dog had gone to attack again, well, let�s just say that icicles
could be very dangerous if they came flying at you.� Especially if they were shaped like knives.

�Get out!� Get out of
my house you freak and if you ever return I will kill you!� You have five minutes!� Get out!�

Harry backed up and ran up the stairs to get his most
important items before running from Number 4 Privet Drive.� He ran as far and as fast as he could until
he found himself in a denser part of town, the same area that held the bank
which was currently being robbed.� A man
in a strange outfit was holding a large bag of money and shooting a ray gun
which another man dressed just as strangely was dodging.

It looked like the hero was losing the battle though as his
shoulder was bleeding badly from being shot with the gun.

Harry concentrated and held out his hand, causing ice to
form around the gun so that it could not be fired, yet it was also frozen to
the villain�s arm.� He then set out ice
spikes that pinned the man to the wall.�
Harry fell to his knees after using so much of his new power, panting
softly.

The hero walked over to him an smiled.

�Well�looks like we got a hero in the making.� Where do you live kid?�

�I don�t have a home.�
Just got�kicked out.�

�Then you will be staying with me in America and I�ll get
you into Sky High.� You�ll learn to
better control your powers there.�
