Summary: Crossover
with Shugo Chara anime, though none of the characters will appear in the
story. A few students of Hogwarts wake
up to find eggs in their bed. What
happens when those eggs hatch?

Chapter 1

It isn’t Easter is
it?

It was a morning just like any other at Hogwarts school of
Witchcraft and Wizardry, except for the fact that for four students it wasn’t a
normal morning at all.

Harry stretched as he started to wake up and frowned when
his leg touched something. He reached
down and felt two solid things in his bed, warm and smooth. He pulled them up to hold in front of his
face, pulled on his glasses for a better look, and frowned when he saw two
eggs.

The first was a bit pointy at the top and had a high gloss
to it. It was mostly black but had bits
of red and yellow looking like thin whips of flame. The second was more round and had what looked
like a series of flames on it with sections cut off by white which made a sort
of star in the center. He frowned as he
looked at the eggs, a bit confused by them.
He left them on the bed and got showered and dressed, it was a weekend
but he still wanted breakfast.

He frowned down at the eggs and picked them up before
wrapping them in two of his school scarves to keep them safe before putting
them in his robe pockets.

In the girl’s dorm, Hermione was waking up and encountered
much the same as what Harry had encountered.
She picked up the smooth shape and saw that it was a purple egg with
golden swirls on it.

Her mine ran a mile a minute as she looked through her head
searching for where she had heard of this before.

“A Guardian Character Egg.”
She smiled brightly. “My would be
self” He wrapped the egg up for safety and ran down to the common room to wait
for the boys to go down to breakfast.

Ron woke up five minutes after Harry and Hermione and found
an egg himself.

“Mmm? Is it Easter
already?” He shrugged and put it in his
pocket as he made his way down to the common room.

“You two will never believe what happened this morning. I woke up with this in my bed.” Hermione pulled out the egg and Harry frowned
before pulling out his own. Ron pulled
out one as well.

“So what Hermione, it must be Easter or something.”

Hermione hit Ron upside the head.

“They are Guardian Character Eggs Ron. Honestly, do you ever listen in Defense
against the Dark Arts class?”

Draco sighed as he woke up to another egg in his bed. The first had showed up when he was eleven,
the night before he went to Hogwarts. It
had been a soft white and golden color, not this one depicted a phoenix.

“Gabriel? You have a
brother now?”

The gold egg beside his bed started to shake before a small
angel figure with golden wings and golden hair popped out and looked at the egg
with awe.

“Draco! I got a
brother! And you got another Shugo
Chara!”

Draco smiled and stood before frowning at the look of
concentration on Gabriel’s face.

“What is it Gabe?”

“I feel more Shugo Chara eggs.”

“That Ravenclaw?”

The angel shook his head.

“No, more than four.”

“I guess we will find out on our way to breakfast.”

Caleb Cross walked through the halls, a small belt on his
hip that held his four Shugo Chara eggs.

He had headphones on, having found a spell to make
electronics work at Hogwarts.

The first egg, a blue one with snowflake pattern started to
shake before it opened.

A small blue figure popped out.

“Caleb, I feel Shugo eggs!”

“Plural? Malfoy must
have gotten another.”

“I feel more than just Gabriel and his brother.”

I guess we will find out at breakfast.

Another egg started to shake, this one depicted
lightning. Then the third, this one
showing snow and a fallen leaf in a cold lake.
Then the fourth shook as well, this one showing golden spirals. The three eggs opened and the figures flew
beside him.

Harry’s eyes widened when he saw a small golden angel at
Malfoy’s shoulder. He pointed it out to
the others and Hermione smiled.

“It would seem that Malfoy has a Guardian Character as well.”

“What are they anyway Hermione?”

“They are our would be selves.”

“So Malfoy is an angel?”

“He probably is forced to be a cold heartless bastard.”

The small golden angel flew past them as it made its way to
the door and started flying around with four others.

The sound of music told them that Ravenclaw Caleb Cross had
entered the room. Caleb sat at the end
of the house table and ate by himself as he did every day. One of Caleb’s guardians came over to him and
spoke in his ear. He nodded and stood
when he had finished eating, leaving the hall.

The same character came over to their group.

“Hello, you have recently found Shugo Chara eggs
correct? Caleb is going to tell you more
about them and what it means to have a Shugo Chara. Meet him at the far side of the lake.”

The figure flew away and headed out the door. The figure had been blue, dressed in a white
winter jacket. Caleb’s other characters
stayed too far out of the way to be seen.

The group was joined by Malfoy, who took the lead. Nothing was said.

What they found shocked them. Caleb looked different. He had larger headphones over his ears and
had a guitar that he was playing.

“That is a Chara Change, when your shugo chara gives you a
bit of power and lets your would be self shine through. Right now, Caleb is sharing power with
Light. Oh, I’m Izo by the way. Light is the one with the lightning bolt on
his shirt and the ear phones. Then there
is Ai, the only girl of us, she is the protective side of Caleb. And that is Cain. The dark side of Caleb. Light is the musical side.”

“What side are you?”

Draco stepped forward.
“Izo is the innocent side.”

Caleb stopped playing his guitar and it vanished, his image
going back to normal, not that it had changed much to begin with.

“Draco, long time no talk.
Hear you got a new egg. It hatch
yet?”

Draco shook his head before pulling out the egg and looking
at it.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron pulled out their own eggs and
looked at them.

“Any news on the embryo?”

“Father says that Voldemort is after it, but he can’t see
shugo charas. Everyone in his inner
circle knows that you have four. You are
in danger Caleb.”

Caleb smirked.

“Am I really? I could
use a good fight. Maybe then I would
truly become one of my would be selves.”

Cain snickered and flew around Caleb before pulling out knives
and slashing at the air.

“Cut ‘em up, cut ‘em up, cut ‘em up!”

Gabriel quickly flew over and hit Cain in the back of the
head.

“Such bad manners, really Cain!”

Draco and Caleb burst out into laughter, as did Caleb’s
other Characters.

“So um…when do they hatch?”

Caleb and Draco looked from one another then to Ron.

“It depends; it has to be the right time.”

Footsteps sounded at a distance behind them and a shugo
chara entered their clearing first, he looked like a small version of Snape,
but with a sword strapped to his back.
Severus entered soon after.

“Professor, you have a …shugo chara?”

Severus raised an eyebrow.

“Yes, now what are you three doing hanging around my
godsons?”

That made the golden trio get more confused than they were
already.
