Title: Alice Knows Best
Author: Missi_Young (missianne)
Summary: Jacob Black hates the Cullen family without question, so why would Alice try to help him? One letter leads to a phone call, which leads to a visit. Sure, the Volturi are angry, but that's only half the problem. I screwed with the timeline here a bit...
Pairings: Will be reveled in future chapters, but some of the Cullen's will be with HP characters!

Chapter One: War Is Over...For Now
Sixteen year old Harry Potter was tired. Trying to break tradition, instead of drawing Harry away from the school or attacking him there, Voldemort instead attacked the Royal Family head on with a small army of minions. As he stared across the war torn streets of London, Harry considered the events that had led to this. Cornelius Fudge hadn't been given any choice in admitting the 'Dark Thingy' had returned once he made himself so well known at the Ministry; Sirius was vindicated, in some small way. Plus several of the most prominent members of Society were arrested, bringing the Minister almost to his knees. Lucius Malfoy was by far the worst Advisor Cornelius Fudge ever consulted; Malfoy's advice advised Fudge right out of office. Incensed, Voldemort formally declared war on the Royal Family. Since Harry was supposed to do away with the idiot at some point, Her Majesty asked for Harry's recommendations in regards to protection. He agreed to give it and learned more about the Royal Family than he'd ever imagined; they were all Squibs, trying to breed magic back into their family. Prince Harry had actually been named after him, for Merlin's sake!
Harry watched Muggle doctors and magical Healers work side by side, combining methods to save as many people as they could, not discriminating between Muggle and Wizard. This is why I fought. Harry ignored the press, but couldn't help the feeling of anger when he remembered why Voldemort had chosen this day to attack. There had been a young girl raped, beaten, and left for dead along the front fence guarding Buckingham Palace. She was being released from the hospital this afternoon, and the Royal Family had chosen to visit beforehand. At least the idiot didn't attack until we were pretty much in the hospital carpark. There had been an instinct that morning that had told the teen to gather his allies and be ready. Never one to doubt a gut feeling, Harry had done just that. When the call came just after eleven, the Army of Students was ready. Fae, Elf, Vampire, Lycan, Human, and more all stood together. Traditional enemies fought side by side, back to back, never letting harm come to the other. They worked together in groups based to skill and strength but most importantly on weakness to keep the casualties to a minimum. Unfortunately Voldemort hadn't cared that these teenagers were trying to protect-he was out to kill. Since he knew that he'd all but lost, he decided to take the Statute of Secrecy down with him.
"Harry, aren't you getting off the train?"
Hermione's voice was quiet, with a quality that reminded Harry of a person not wanting to wake a sleeping infant. She'd been that way ever since the battle, studiously avoiding any situation wherein Harry's temper my come to fore. He supposed that he couldn't really blame the witch, since it was that very temper that had done the Dark Lord in, but it still hurt that she didn't have more faith in him.
"Hermione, who am I?"
The witch blinked, clearly confused.
"Harry."
The boy smiled, there was hope for her yet.
"Point. Ok, who am I to them?"
Hermione didn't need to see where he was pointing to know he meant the world at large, a world that now sadly included the Muggle world as well.
"Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived And Offed That One Dude."
They both snickered at the title Prince Harry had given him in the last letter Harry had received from the Royal Family. The boy had apparently seen reference to it on an American News program on the television and had decided to see if he could make it stick. He'd been disturbingly successful.
"Exactly. If I go out there, I'm going to have to face half the country, all of the press from both sides, and the Dursley's. I don't want to do that!"
Hermione was not sympathetic to his plight.
