I had once wanted to write something each month (I know, stupid idea) and last month was somehow almost over until I got the idea for this little text.

"When the night is deep black, I come to you.
When the wind blows angryly, I am with you.
When the lights of dawn break in your blonde strands, I'm lying next to you.
When the angry voices rise, I stand beside you.
When they chase you away, I go with you.
When you ask me for eternity, I promise it to you. "
Pale fingers follow freckle sprinkled cheeks and light is caught in rust-red hair.
Gray looks into green. A pleasant silence dances through the air.
"Happy Anniversary."
A kiss on the forehead, closed eyes, a warm sigh.
