You could feel it in the air, the scent of blood and the feeling of true and utter despair. There was a battle brewing, both sides fighting to stay strong and to gain what they wanted out of this blood bath.
Though the ending was not in the favor of the dark lord Voldemort, many death eaters and evil creatures roamed . It was 1981, the end of the reign of the dark lord, but people knew he would return.
One woman watched as the blood soaked into everything it touched. So many dead, so many in agony. As she scanned the area she saw whom she was seeking. A handsome blond wizard, oh how her heart would beat if it was a living mortal heart.
Disappearing into the darkness she appeared behind him without a sound. She could hear his heart, pumping blood throughout his body.
She knew he was with Narcissa Black but that didn’t stop her. “A long time Lucius…” her voice said in a slight whisper. Lucius turned his grey-icy hues turned to see a face he hadn’t seen since he was in school.
“Raven….. Yes it has been a while..” he said a little surprised she was here in front of him. “You look the same… of course you would since your---”
“A vampire?” she smiled as she finished his sentence.
“Yes… you still look eighteen. “ Lucius’s voice seemed to trail off, this Raven was someone he was with for a period of time at Hogwarts. But after Raven had to returned to her home in Romania they lost contact. The night air was crisp and a full moon illuminated the once fierce battle ground.
It was just them now, alone. Was there still a fire between them being rekindled? Would it cause a spark or were the once strong feelings gone like a leaf in a cold breeze.
Stepping closer she touched his pale smooth skin. Her nails gently caressed his cheek. He stood at 5’11 she about 5’9. As she stood closer, she could hear his heart beat, his blood thriving in his perfect blood vessels. Her voice now spoke with the accent of her homeland, Romania. “Don’t you remember how we used to be?” her voice seductive and low.
Lucius stared at her, remembering the times she spoke of, when he was young, when his future was not yet set in stone. Raven ran her slender fingers through his hair, his perfect locks were so soft to the touch. As she looked into his grey hues, her own eyes took on a lovely crystal blue color.
Without uttering another word, she slowly kissed him, feeling his strong body once again. Lucius was surprised to say the least but he did miss her kiss and touch as he wrapped an arm around her. But the moment didn’t last too long before a name drifted on wind. ”Lucius??” A voice called, as the kiss and passion was broken. “Perhaps another time….” Raven said as Lucius turned to find the source of the voice. But when he couldn’t he looked back to find her gone. As he turned and left he felt something on his lip. As he licked his lower lip he tasted blood, a small drop. Raven had taken just a nip to taste his blood, once again that perhaps someday again they would meet under another full moon.
