All this weight on my shoulders, all of this pressure to be the “golden” boy, the savior.
Can’t they see that I’m so close to breaking? Can’t they see that I just want to be Harry?

All I ever wanted was to be normal, to have a family who loved me, friends who cared.
I know that Dumbledore will never train me for the role I’ve been cursed with. That would make me too powerful for him to control. He wants to keep me as his pawn, his little martyr.
My eyes have now been opened. I see these people for who they really are. I’ll not bend to their wants any longer.
