A/N: Just an idea that I had. The warnings are for later chapters.
Harry Potter chose to sacrifice himself to save the Wizarding world. Unfortunately, the choice was moot.
Hermione looked to her best friend, who had slumped to the ground minutes before. Neither Harry nor Voldemort showed any signs of life. She crept closer, and noticed Harry’s scar start to disappear. She frantically motioned for Ron Weasley to join her, missing the small changes in her best friend.
When Harry finally opened his eyes, the bright blue orbs stared straight at Hermione and grinned. Raising the Elder Wand, he grabbed Hermione’s arm and Apparated away, not before she gasped recognizing her best friend as their dead enemy, Lord Voldemort.
He hated back up plans. As a general rule, less thought is put into them, mainly because his originally plan is a stroke of genius. However, once you cheat death, you become quite adept on staying that way.
Consequently, he spent a year connecting with the Horcrux in that bloody Potter boy and giving it awareness and abilities just in case they blasted boy was so self-sacrificing. Dumbledore could not have picked a better pawn.
Tom Riddle sighed, and walked over to the horribly ornate mirror on his bureau at Malfoy Manor. He was glad to see his nose was back, although his boyish good looks could prove a problem. Having an awareness that is over three times older than its body does have its advantages.
His major advantage was currently in an enchanted sleep. Unruly brown hair overwhelmed the slight frame on the giant king-size bed. Hermione Granger was his new plan. If his calculations were correct, he would have at most 4 hours of control with the Elder Wand before the girl overthrew the Imperious. However, he just resurrected himself from his unintentional Horcrux. He sidled up next to the girl and let himself fall asleep.
"Imperio.
“The problem we will face is witch-based,” Riddle intoned, pacing in front of Hermione’s work table. “It is well known within the Pureblood circles a few truths. Firstly, in order to procreate, both the witch and wizard involved must want the child. Secondly, if the witch does not … enjoy herself, there can be no procreation. Once conceived, the soon to be mother and father are both irrationally drawn to protect each other and the unborn child.”
Riddle turned to face the Muggleborn carefully notating on a long scroll of parchment.
“Fourthly, nothing can be done to force fertility or conception. Wizards and witches alike have tried in vain to find a charm or potion with no avail. However, there has been documentation of potions and charms that can help,” Riddle said, turning away from her. “I command you to find a solution to the breeding problem. If you manage to break free of the Imperious, I will be alerted. I expect results.”
Riddle strode confidently out of the room. The girl was already gathering a multitude of tomes from the shelves and settling into the research. Hopefully, she will find a solution within the week, until then, he had a lot of work to do.

The first edict I am enacting is a call to end the violence. There is no tangible proof of superiority of magic based on a witch’s or wizard’s lineage beyond that of those with Wizarding families grows up within our culture. As such, any person found to be continuing any feud or the like will be punished harshly.
I shall have my second and most important edict within the next moon.
