Author's note: This story is already completed on fanfiction but due to the fact that this contains sexual content, I'm going to place it here too. This was my first multi chaptered Harry Potter story. Despite the many sleepness nights and cursing, I'm still proud of it and I hope you'll enjoy reading it!

Warning: Weasley/Dumbledore bashing, Drarry, Sirius/Remus and Lucius/Severus

Chapter 1: Draco's plan

Draco Malfoy frowned his forehead when he looked at the shelves in the Hogwarts library. Normally he wouldn't be here, since it was the summer holidays, but his father, along with Severus (his godfather) and the Headmaster, deemed it safer to stay here because the Malfoy family had switched sides, a few weeks ago. Instead of supporting the Dark Lord, they now were siding with the Light side. That didn't mean the Malfoys would let themselves treated like pawns in the game that Dumbledore played – oh, no. They were Malfoys after all.

But the family had to tolerate the old manipulative fool, because he was the only one who could provide safety for them.

When the media had spread the news that the Malfoys had switched sides, other families had took the courage to switch sides as well.

The Parks, the Zabinis and a few others were one of them. Unfortunately Draco's two bodyguards and friends, Grabbe and Goyle, were removed from school and they would attend Durmstrang in September.

His remaining friends were also staying at Hogwarts. Their parents had fled the country to make sure their children were safe.

Draco sighed when he thought of his parents. Lucius was also staying at Hogwarts, since he wouldn't be safe at the Malfoy Manor. His private chambers were close to the ones of Severus. He was currently speaking with Dumbledore about his place in the Order of the Phoenix. Draco snorted, but didn't dwell on the thought of that ridiculous order for now. His mother, Narcissa, on the other hand, was furious about Lucius' decision to change sides and had left them. Not that Draco minded. She hadn't been exactly a loving mother, so he didn't miss her. Narcissa had asked for an immediate divorce when she had not only heard the news of the switching sides, but also had heard about the fact that her now ex-husband had saved her cousin Sirius Black, when her insane sister Bellatrix Lestrange had tried to kill him by sending a curse that would push Black into a veil. If Sirius Black had fallen through that veil, then he would have died. Lucius had casted a spell to push Black off the podium with the veil, when he had noticed what Bellatrix was going to do.

Draco had been curious and had asked why Lucius had saved Black. The answer came from his godfather Severus and had left him stunning. Sirius Black was the godfather of Harry Potter.

When the two had met each other again, two years ago, they had bonded quickly. Apparently Harry saw Black as a surrogate father, along with the werewolf Remus Lupin, and would have been devastated if Black had died. Lucius had pitied the boy and had saved Black so Harry wouldn't lose another person he loved.

Now, normally, Draco couldn't have cared less if someone had died in that fight in the Department of Mystification, even if it was distant family, but he had been happy to hear that Harry's godfather had survived. You see: Draco had a crush on Harry Potter since his fourth year. He had known he preferred boys since he was thirteen, but hadn't realized how huge his crush on Harry was till the middle of his fourth year.

Even before he had this crush, he had been interested in Harry Potter. He had wanted to be the boy's friend since he first saw him by Madam Malkin and had been terribly upset when the other boy had turned his friendship down. Draco had even felt worse when he realized that a Weasley had won Harry's friendship, together with that irritating Miss Know – It – All – Granger. So, to get Harry's attention – even if it was bad – Draco had been making Harry's life a tad bit more difficult at Hogwarts. Just to get the boy's attention.

But now, he wanted more. He wanted Harry's positive attention and most of all his love. He hadn't told anybody yet of his crush. He didn't think the reactions would be good since he was a Malfoy and a Slytherin and Harry was the Golden Boy of Gryffindor.

Slytherins and Gryffindors didn't have crushes on each other. They hated each other. That was an unspoken rule.

So, Draco needed something that would help him get Harry.

If only Harry was a Slytherin, things would be so much easier, Draco thought and wandered through the aisles. Come on, there must be something that would help, he thought irritated.

He reached a dark corner and had just turned around to go back to choose another aisle when he heard something fell. Quickly he turned around and looked down.

A thick, old, dusty book lay on the floor.

Curious Draco picked it up and he carefully placed the old book on the table on his left. He brushed away the dust and the title appeared in dark golden letters in the middle of the worn out cover.

'Rituals of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry'

Written by Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff and Rowena Ravenclaw.

Now this looks interesting, Draco thought and he raised his eyebrows. What kind of rituals would they be? And why is this book hidden in such a far corner? Draco opened the book and coughed a bit when dust hit him in the face. The first page was the register.

A smile lit up his face. If this was true, then he had found the solution to his problem. Eagerly he looked at the register to search for the page of this ritual and leaved through the book to find the right page. Ah, there it is, he thought excited and read the page.

'How to change students to a different House to provide understanding'

This ritual has been invented to create understanding and peace between the different Houses. It is especially useful in times when there is much hostility between the Houses – for example: Gryffindor and Slytherin.

The founders of this school thought it would be wise if students learnt about the differences between the Houses by living and studying with them.

But since the founders didn't want to switch whole years with each other – because then the students would stick together with their own House instead of meeting other people – they decided to only switch one of each House to the other House. After all, they argued, if one person would give the other House a chance to prove themselves worthy of the friendship, others would likely support this one person and they would be more willing to get to know the other House better.

One Gryffindor would switch with one Slytherin and one Hufflepuff would switch with one Ravenclaw.

The switch will last till all the Houses have made peace with each other. Thus, the switch can last for a month, a year or even longer.

Since there is no specific time limit, the founders decided that only the years 5 till 7 can take place in the ritual. This years would likely be stronger in their believes that their House was better that the others, so this ritual would be more beneficial for them.

For the ritual you will need:

- the names and Houses of the students from year 5 till 7, written on parchment,

- the House cup to put the names in,

- and the spell to activate the cup: 'Ante amicitiam, pacem et concordiam, dimitte hanc inimicitiam'.

First, you activate the cup with the spell. When that's done, each student has to drop his name with the name of his House below the name in the cup.

After a minute, the cup will glow and he will spit out the name with the respective color of the House. For example: a student's name from Slytherin will come out with a green silver cloud.

Once the cup has spit out the name, the student must immediately go to the respective House for his stay.

One cannot switch with another student or withdrawn his or herself.

This ritual can be best performed on the first day of the school year, so that there will be no problems with the lessons.

This is perfect!, Draco thought with a huge grin. He could use this ritual. It would not only help him, but it was good for the atmosphere in the school too. God knows there are problems with union between the different Houses.

Draco closed the book and held it close to his chest. He went to Madam Pince, the school librarian, to check out his book. Then he began to walk to Dumbledore's office. He had to show this ritual to Severus and his dad. Maybe they could convince Dumbledore to perform this ritual.

After all, Draco thought grinning, the ritual will be very good for Hogwarts.

He fleetly thought of how he was supposed to get the cup to agree to spit out Harry's name, but he decided he would think about that later. Now he had people to convince to use this ritual.

AN2: So how was it? I know it's a short chapter, but it's just the set up. Later on the chapters will get longer, trust me.
