Furious
"Just calm down, Lee," Fred said softly. It made me shake my head in frustration. Did anyone ever calm down because someone told them to 'just calm down'? I doubted it.
"Try to relax," George continued, "focus on your breathing. Breathe in… breathe out. Breathe in… breathe out."
I furiously tried to focus on my breathing, I really did, but it just wouldn't work. I was too angry, too frustrated, too… too furious, I guess. In the back of my mind, I knew that they were just trying to help me, but I had the severe urge to punch one – or both – of them in the face.
It took all my focus to not do that. They were not at fault here. They were just trying to help.
"I understand your anger." Both tried to make eye-contact with me as Fred spoke, but I refused it, knowing that I would probably hit whoever I'd make eye-contact with.
"I would be angry too. Furious even, but you can't do anything about it when you're like this. I understand you want revenge..."
Revenge. I did not just want revenge. Wanting was not a strong enough word here. I needed revenge, I longed for revenge, I. Would. Get. My. Revenge.
"...but you can't do that when you're like this. You're shaking. Please, please focus on your breathing. Breathe in... breathe out."
I was shaking, I realized. Tremors of anger went through my body, a red haze clouded my mind and the only urge I felt was to make them shut their traps. "Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP and let me go!"
"No." It was George who said that, I'm sure. "No, because if we would do that..." Fred took over from thereon. "You would do something stupid. Believe me, we want revenge as much as you do, but you first need to calm down."
Why? WHY? Why the hell can't I just stand up and punch that bastard in the face?
"I know your first urge is to go and punch him. At least, that would be mine. But if you want proper revenge... you need to think. Would a simple, single punch in the face be enough for what he has done? I doubt it."
'He is right,' I suddenly thought. 'A simple punch wouldn't be enough.' I felt myself calm down slightly. Not much, and only from sheer determination. I wanted proper revenge and they were right... I couldn't get it like this.
"You need to plan. We can plan together with you, if you'd like."
After a while, I answered.
"Yes, I would like that."

A/N: One-shot/drabble I originally wrote for the Word Limit Competition at the Harry Potter Fanfiction Challenges forum over at FFN. Published there under the same pen-name I use here, but likely will be pulling it there soon.
I know that this one-shots in pretty vague on some points - such as why Lee is angry and who he is angry with - but I was working with both a word-limit and a prompt/keyword.Reviews are, as always, very much welcome.
