For the purpose of this fic, Harry is allowed to do magic despite not being of age.
Just a funny fic with some smut in future chapters. Rate and review please!
He had found it in the deep recesses of Hemione's bag. It was a testament to his desperation that he had even gone looking for a book and an academic book at that.
But he was after a particular spell and Hermione had accidentally let it slip that it could be found in this book.
As Harry turned yet another page on vanquishing spells-where had this been when he needed to get past a fire-breathing dragon last year?- he began to give up hope of ever locating it.
Then, as if fate were just as disgruntled by Harry's isolation as himself, he saw it, in large bold letters on the right side of the page.
'Audiet'- the incantation was to be uttered as the wand was swished in a clockwise direction.
Harry grinned as he performed it, suddenly having razor-sharp hearing that could pick up things miles away.
"Sirius!" he heard Lupin's disgruntled voice and beamed. Yes! It had worked.
He settled onto a more comfortable position on his bed and prepared to listen. Would they talk about what Voldemort was up to?
"I told you! Let me do it!" Lupin was saying. Perhaps discussing who would take the next shift?
"And what would you know about this?" Sirius asked and he heard someone who sounded suspiciously like Snape, snigger.
"I've done it before", Lupin said, his tone slightly defiant as Sirius gave a cough of disbelief and Snape began to chuckle.
There was the sound of something being torn from a wrapper and Harry gasped as he heard his godfather groan with longing.
"Would you look at that?" his voice was raspy now.
There were a few moments of quiet, then he heard Snape's voice say, "No! I like it better without the whipped cream. Allows me to taste the essence better".
Sirius groaned quietly as Lupin said, "You've got me wet".
Wait…Harry rubbed his ear, trying to clean it out. He must be hearing things! He heard Snape hiss, "You spilled it! You better make up for that Black! No resting until you do".
He heard Sirius groan again before saying, "Fine. Come over here then".
Harry was faced with silence, broken only by the occasional groan and the sounds of slurping.
"Not again!" Lupin growled and Harry had heard enough.
That was it!
He had no problem with accepting his godfather was gay but he refused to be kept in the dark about it any longer.
"Catch them in the act", he muttered to himself as he ran downstairs.
As soon as his footsteps came towards the kitchen, he could hear whispers and a bustle of activity.
Harry didn't know what to think when he opened the door to see Snape staring at him with distaste, his hands behind his back. Lupin was shifting uncomfortably and Harry noticed the wet patch on his pants in the groin region.
He gulped, feeling himself turn red.
Sirius, for his part, was staring everywhere but at Harry, his hands hidden under the kitchen table.
"And to what do we owe this disturbance, Potter?" Snape growled out and Harry was suddenly lost for words.
How could he possibly accuse any of them from keeping this from him without revealing how he knew in the first place.
"Anything the matter, Harry?" Lupin asked, his face full of concern and he noticed Sirius was peeking a glance at him too.
"Ah…n…no. I..uh…just needed to get a…glass of water", he quickly improvised, reaching for the nearest glass and filling it.
He ran out of the kitchen as fast as his legs would carry him, only stopping once he had locked the bedroom door and crashed onto his bed. Maybe that spell wasn't the best thing to do, after all!
"The coast is clear", Sirius muttered as soon as he heard Harry's door close, "Thank Merlin. I wasn't going to be able to keep the secret much longer!"
Snape sighed in relief.
"Good", he muttered, taking another sip from the mug of hot cocoa he had concealed behind his back, "I couldn't bear for Potter to know I actually enjoy this Muggle beverage!"
"And you owe me an apology", Lupin added to Sirius, "I don't have a spare pair of pants here".
"Not to mention you spilled half my drink!" Snape threw in and Sirius sighed again.
"I'll make us another batch. Where's the instant cocoa sachets you brought, Lupin?" Sirius grumbled as he stood up, placing his own empty mug on the table.
This time, thankfully, Harry didn't hear their groans as they drank another rich cup of the most delicious drink they had ever tasted.
He was too busy trying to erase the mental picture of the three of them in another kind of act, altogether!
