Hermione grinned as her well thought out plan had finally come to fruition.
The invisibility cloak had been easy to steal from Harry, who had a bad habit of leaving it lying around in the Gryffindor common room.
Getting the teachers schedules had also proven surprisingly easy to get. Being head girl, she occasionally had access to the staff room, and had found the list of staff meetings planned for the upcoming term on the wall. Once she had worked out when Snape would be away from his office, she simply had to sneak out and grab the ingredients she needed.
The spell on the door was tricky, but nothing that she couldn’t handle, and once inside she managed to find the correct bottles quickly and silently, and left without a trace. She spent the rest of the night preparing the potion in the Myrtles Bathroom on the first floor, before returning swiftly to her room clutching a vial of pearly pink liquid tightly in her hands.
