Another action packed chapter! I think the MacAteers put some sort of tracking or other charm on Scorpius when they held him hostage. They used that to apparate right into his bedroom.

okies, I finally got around to catching up on this story. As I've mentioned before, while wonderfully written I'm just not a fan of all the dark, macabre stuff that was happening. And so... well even though I'd see that there had been an update I would put off reading if I felt I was not in a mind-state to Handle what I might read.

Now I'm glad I waited, as the story has reached at least another calm in the storm.

I really loved how Draco found his courage but still shows his Slytherin side. He seems very real to me. Scorpius' claiming of Hermione was adorable. Personally, I was always hoping when my son was young (and even now when he's entering his preteens) that he'll like whoever I might finally want to date.
I also never baby talked to my son, so kudos to you with raising your own. I honestly can't remember when he was speaking in full sentences, but other than mixing a few of his sounds he was speaking with relatively big words very young. I remember him asking about our schedule when he was about 2...

Wonderfully written. Although I'm tired of deaths I'm holding out for a FEW more, but hoping they will only be the kidnappers. Sick bastards.

    Thanks so much for writing.

I like all the happiness in everyone's lives in the story, now. I think the death of Alan Rickman has left us all in need of some sweetness and light. I will always hear Rickman's incomparable voice in my head whenever Snape speaks in a story.

I love this story, it just keeps getting better. And I am with you on the death of Alan Rickman, I can no longer pretend that Severus Snape is in the Wizarding Witness Protection Program. He was an amazing actor and will be deeply missed. I'm looking forward to the release of his last two films.

I love this story. And I had no problems with how well the little one talks. Not only is he three but he's from a well off family they tend to do more tutoring when it comes to children because they can afford to

Nice to have everyone safe and on the way to a loving relationship. There has been enough stress and bloodshed. I hope we can see the bad guys captured with cunning rather than a battle.

I've been reading this story from the first post I love how it's coming along. Scorpius is freaking adorable in this chapter. I also like how you have mended Harry and HermioneHermione's friendship. It felt like they were awkward in the beginning now they feel almost like brother and sister.

Scorp sounds like my two kids did at that age and like my 4 grandkids did/do at that age. Love the story. All those poor kids though. Hope someone takes out the bad guys with extreme prejudice.

As a parent myself, I found the prolonged kidnapping of these little children to be a horrible ordeal, even simply reading about it! I am so relieved they were rescued and are finally getting the care they need. Some were there so long--I can't imagine how damaged they are both physically and emotionally. I'm sure all of them are traumatized. I hope the wizard world has some way of dealing with these children's psychological issues that makes it less painful for them and for their families. I am pleased that Hermione was rescued in the nick of time, too. Now, we can watch Draco and Hermione's relationship progress without the dark worry of the kidnapped children looming over them.Obviously, I find this story gripping. More soon, please.
