Okay, that casual and completely irreverent disposal of the horcrux is totally cracking me up.

Now I'm kind of wondering if Sirius might ask Hank to look at the signature of the spells on the Dursleys and that he might recognize those or at least be curious thinking they were related if he couldn't conceive of it being the same people... but would they think Hank would even have that kind of knowledge? So far we still don't know much about his magical abilities or education so they are obviously a mystery to everyone else. ;)

I have this sense of rather horrified anticipation of someone asking him to look into the Dursleys and taking him there, or just mentioning the name and I'm fascinated by the possibilities. Such as, would he hide recognition but start digging more? I'm hoping he won't just sleep with Sirius for information knowing he is probably his godson. ;)

Okay, thats a really nice change, to see Remus, Sirius and Severus getting along, and I'm curious about the description that others still saw what they expected -- do the three of them push the image that they still hate each other? If so, why? It seems like those who kind of work with the Order are hiding as much from the Order as they do the Bad Guys or Ministry. I like the bits and pieces about how Albus isn't really trusted and the idea these three probably won't tell him even if they do find Harry.

It's interesting that we don't even know yet what kind of magical skills or training Hank has acquired. I like how you explained the spell has a legitimate use and isn't just some kind of random obliviate. Just overpowered and misused it seems. How horrified are the Dursleys that he recalls them at all? I'm still puzzled about the banking and how any of this could influence Goblins......

Wow this is a really interesting intro. I like the fact that it doesn't look like we'll deal with Harry being a Horcrux and it's a really interesting twist that he's looking for his identity and they're trying to hide it. One thing I'm curious about, however, I'm so used to goblins being able to do inheritance tests, that I'm wondering if that isn't an option in this universe or if for some reason doesn't know about it or the spell on him was so powerful it doesn't work. Which woyld be a bit freaky in the idea someone was powerful enough to confound goblins or his bloodline. Since it is something that shows up so often in fiction to be almost universally accepted, it would be nice to have addressed.

Incredible story! I'm glad that Hank is too smart to get pulled into Dumbledore's manipulations. I hope that won't change when he figures out that he is really Harry Potter. Thanks to Dumbledore, Harry has no connections to Britain, except his horrid relatives, and he certainly doesn't owe anything to the "light" side. Excellent story! Can't wait to find out what you have planned for Hank next!
