Disclaimer: I do not own any of the potterverse or characters. I just like to play with the already created world and characters every now and then. I do not make any money from any of my creative works.

A/N: This is the sequel to How Did This Happen so if you haven't read that, you might want to take the time to do that now, otherwise you may not fully understand some of the things happening in this story.

warning: before you even start reading and get into the story, this story will be a lot darker than the last one. I have a lot of big plans for this story and I have a pretty clear outline. Some of the trials that they will have to undergo will be very dark and maybe scary or gruesome to some readers so please know that beforehand.

Most or all of the chapters for this story will be a lot longer than most of the ones were in How did this happen, I plan to really go in-depth and dive deeper this time. I also plan to post new chapters often. I have prewritten about 4 chapters so I am currently ahead and hope to stay that way so that the readers won't have to wait long for updates. I am hoping for a new chapter at least once a week, maybe more.

Thant's it. I hope you really enjoy this story and please please review. I love to hear feedback. Thank you all for reading and enjoy!

Things had returned to normal overall. Hermione was practically caught up in all her classes and she was finally starting to relax into a routine with her friends. She still didn’t know what to think about the curse she had been put under or if any of it was real. She knew that she was in love with Draco still but she had no idea how he felt or if he even experienced the same things.

Every now and then she would catch him staring at her during meal times, like now but she didn’t know what it meant. She tried to ignore it but deep inside all she wanted to do was walk up to him and kiss him in front of everyone.

She blushed at the thought and she stood up to leave the cafeteria.

Harry looked up at her and asked, “Where are you going? You’re not done already are you?”

She paused and smiled at him. “I’m tired, I’m gonna go read for a little before bed.”

He seemed to accept her response and nodded to her before returning to his meal. She knew that mentioning reading was always accepted as an excuse. She walked through the crowded cafeteria and just before walking out the doors she glanced back to look at Draco. He was watching her and he stood up out of his seat as she exited the room.

She felt her heart pounding in her chest and she felt flushed. She couldn’t help but feel something every time she looked at him. She started walking up the stairs towards the tower. She wanted to relax and try to take her mind off of things… and certain blonde people.

When she was about halfway up the stairs, she felt someone brush past her and quickly place something in her hand as they rushed by. It was Draco, he never looked at her or slowed down as he hurried up the stairs and out of sight.

She paused for a second and then she continued her walk all the way to the Gryffindor common room. She hurried inside and finally opened her hand to see what he had given her.

It was a note. Scribbled on it were the words, meet me in the astronomy tower at midnight.

Her breath caught and she could feel her heart beating rapidly in her chest. She couldn’t help but be excited at the thought of being alone with him. ‘He probably just wants to talk about the curse without people judging us for speaking to each other’, she thought.

Either way, she was excited and nervous at the thought of finally having alone time with him. They hadn’t spoken to each other at all since they woke up from the curse. She was too scared to approach him and she was terrified at the idea of him telling her that he experienced something different.

She just couldn’t shake the feeling that it all happened in her head and that he most likely had a completely different experience with the curse. She probably wasn’t even in his subconscious during the curse and she felt stupid for everything that happened in hers.

Either way, she figured that it was about time to figure it out, one way or the other. Then she would know for sure whether or not her feelings were crazy and misplaced.

She read for about an hour but couldn’t take the anxiety anymore. Midnight couldn’t come fast enough. She felt like her body was ready to explode and she needed a release before she went crazy.

She thankfully knew the password to the prefects bathroom and she thought that a nice hot bath would help her settle down. She grabbed her things and headed out of the Gryffindor common room.

When she entered the bathroom the soft glowing lights clicked on and the water started running. The different colors of soaps started pouring out of the multiple spouts over the large tub in the middle of the room. The mermaid in the window was brushing her hair and barely glanced at Hermione as she set her clothes down and began to undress.

The first few times she visited the prefects bathroom she felt self-conscious of the mermaid but after a while, she realized that the mermaid didn’t care one bit about what anyone did in there and paid her absolutely no attention.

She slowly lowered herself into the hot bubbling water and moaned loudly at the sensation. She eased back and relaxed fully in the steaming water.

She still felt shaky about the meeting later and couldn’t shake the thoughts of Draco from her head. After a while, she decided there was no use in fighting it and might as well enjoy the intimate thoughts of him from their cursed time together… or not together. Either way, she had some sexy memories of his body and she wasn’t about to fight with herself anymore.

She pictured him naked and sitting next to her. She remembered what his hands felt like on her skin and she tried to imagine it was him running his hands down her body.

She gently rubbed a hand across her breast and gradually moved her hand down her belly. She slowly rubbed her fingers across the sensitive skin of her lower region and she laid her head back and closed her eyes.

She imagined Draco kissing her neck and rubbing her with his strong fingers. The thought of him made her shiver. She slid two fingers into her warm wet core and started to slowly move them in and out. Her mouth opened and she gasped in pleasure.

“Draco.” She moaned softly as she sped up her motions.

She focused on him and his body as much as she could while she continued to pump her fingers in and out of herself. She jolted slightly as she started hitting the right spot inside of her.

She bit down on her lip hard and she imagined it was Draco biting her and kissing her. She bit down harder as she pictured him wet and naked and rubbing her.

She was moaning louder now and she could feel herself nearing climax. She could feel and taste blood from her lip but she didn’t care. She moved her hand faster and she pictured Draco smirking sexily at her and whispering in her ear.

The thought of his silky smooth voice and trademark smirk was enough to throw her over the edge. She moaned out loudly and screamed his name. “Draco! Ah… Draco!”

Her entire body tensed and she felt herself tighten around her fingers. Her body shook and shivered in ecstasy. She grabbed the side of the tub to steady herself as she climaxed and she pictured him holding her against his body as she came.

When she finally felt herself relax, she removed her fingers and laid back against the tub. She kept her eyes closed and whispered his name one last time. “Draco.”

She finally made it to the tower and her heart was in her throat at this point. She was so nervous that she was shaking. The bath she took earlier really helped her relax but now that she was here and about to see him, her nerves were back with a vengeance. She took a deep breath to try to calm her nerves but it didn’t do much good.

She slowly made her way up the last few stairs and walked into the open tower. She could feel the cool wind on her skin and she was thankful for the jacket she decided to put on last minute.

She walked across the room and her heart sank when she didn’t see Draco anywhere. She turned around to walk back out, mentally kicking herself for even coming, when he suddenly walked up the steps and entered the room.

“Sorry I’m late, it was harder to sneak out than I thought it would be.” His voice was silky smooth and she had to grip her jacket tightly in her hands to keep them to herself. It felt like so long since she had heard his voice.

She cleared her throat and spoke softly. “It’s okay. I’m surprised you even asked me here.”

She glanced around as if to emphasize the fact that they were alone. She wasn’t sure what to do so she kept her hands holding tightly to the bottom of her jacket and bit her lip. She was so nervous that she felt like her entire body was ready to burst.

“I wanted to give you space and time after the curse and I tried to just leave you alone for good but I need to know what happened. I need to know what you experienced during the curse.”

He took a step towards her and stopped. He looked hesitant to get any closer.

“What happened to your lip?” He asked.

She blushed bright red and covered her mouth with her hand for a second before letting it drop back down to hold tightly to her jacket again.

“Oh, um… nothing.” She looked back, embarrassed at the evidence she accidentally left from her earlier bath time.

She hesitated. She wasn’t sure what to say to him. Should she tell him the truth and possibly humiliate herself or should she lie?

She sighed, “Anyway, I’m not really sure what to say. What did you experience?”

She was hoping a change back to their original subject would distract him from her lip.

He took another hesitant step towards her and before he could respond, the room started spinning and they both fell on the floor. The room lit up so bright that it was blinding. Everything went out of focus and suddenly everything stopped and they were in a different room. It happened so fast that it left them a bit dizzy.

They didn’t recognize the room. Draco crawled over to Hermione and pulled her into his arms. As they connected, the room started spinning again and the blinding light flashed in their faces. They felt like they were being thrown around and pulled down by an invisible force.

They appeared and disappeared in and out of multiple rooms over the next few minutes. They squeezed their eyes shut and tried to block out the images that were flying past them.

Just when Hermione thought she was going to be sick, everything stopped.

They were in the tent. Their tent.

Everything was dark and it was quiet. They could hear a soft breeze blowing against the side of the tent and they could hear each other’s quick breathing. Neither of them knew what to think.

They looked around the tent and recognized it right away. This was the tent they had spent time in during the curse. This tent wasn’t real. They looked at each other and they both knew that they were somehow thrown into another curse.
