I have officially renamed Chapter 28 the Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! chapter.

*I hate how you sneak little hints in your reviewer comments becasue I want to analyze them and see if I can figure them out!

*Kreacher is an evil little elf, but I find a little humor in the fact that he can't be bothered with Remus if all he's going to do is spend time with Hermione and the babies and not hop into bed.

*I can see how Sirius, crazy as he is, gets jealous of Remus with Hermione. They're getting very comfortable and close with one another. Remus casually leaning down upon arrival and giving her a kiss on the lips is very telling of his growing affection for her.

*So, so happy that Hermione has bonded and accepted both the babies. Those small, quiet moments with the girls are rather sweet. Of course, I'm all the more worried they'll be used as a bargaining chip against Hermione at some point.

*Oh Remus, did you really think Kreacher would wait a whole month before he brought her back to Bella? And we've gone from a sweet scene, to Holy Crap! In all other stories, a leering Draco Malfoy would be a great presend indeed, but here? Aaaaahhhh! (He wasn't too mean to her, was he? He's just a mere lad of 15.)

*What to say about the confession scene? Finally! Sirius beginning to realize how wrong he is was lovely to see. And he starts doubting Kreacher's influence as well. Kreacher's influence is far-reaching and scary if those two can actually stop such an important conversation and consider going back to use Hermione.

    *A pause. Then,

I say make the chapters longer. You are a good writer with a good story. Maybe not a comfortable story, but still a good story that deals with the horror of a very bad situation. There is a lot to cover and do justice to. I don't see a lot of difference between long chapters or many, many chapters, but I like the long chapters. You can really get into them.
I feel a little better about Remus after this chapter. I wasn't liking him too much in this story. I know there are circumstances but still. I thought he was smarter.
Anyhow, still reading and enjoying and hoping you're almost ready to post more.
    Thanks for writing!

I see what you mean about this being a difficult chapter to read. I almost compulsively check to see whether you've updated, but to be honest, I've reached the point where I just want it to be over. I want her out of there, and at least given the chance to recover, and I'm not sure how much more of the captivity I can read. You should take this as a compliment to your writing skills, because I just feel so wretched about the whole situation. I can

OMG! Is it possible there's hope for Sirius yet? He's already so damaged by his own madness and Kreacher's particular form of teaching that I was convinced he was beyond saving, but now I wonder if I'm seeing a dim light of reason and sanity coming on in his mind. I hope so, even though Sirius has never been my favorite character, we all know his time is limited, provided you decide to send him on through the veil, and it's rather sad to think of his going to the afterlife with his soul completely blackend. Dumbledore was great, but can he get Black to see past himself? Draco? I was sort of hoping Lucius could keep Draco out of this. Well, we'll see what the next chapter brings. In the meantime, Die Kreacher, Die! Slowly and in great mental and physical agony.

Finally, he confessed. And what I suspected a time ago, seems to be it: I think the whole thing has been orchestrated by Bella acting as Kreacher 'Master', using Sirius' Infatuation and influencing him, brainwashing him. You did a great job by showing this to be not completely Sirius' fault without exculpating him for his own mistakes.

I can see how he is not able to 'let her go'. I must think about an old calendar picture of a seagull:

"If you love something, let if free. If it comes back, its yours, if it doesn't, it never was."

But of course, his highly damaged mind will stop him from seeing it like that.

Oh you are so very evil. First you tell me that Severus will rescue Hermione, but then you say that it is not how I think. EVIL. Then you leave Hermione alone with Draco and don't even give us a glimmer into what happened to her.

Am still loving this story and all that it entails.

    Love Sonia :)

Oh I am so very happy that Hermione is bonding with both of her babies. I do wonder what Kreacher was up to in this chapter as I didn't hear much about him. Hmmm, no doubt scheming as usual.

I do so hope that Severus is able to rescue Hermione and am glad that Albus now knows what has happened to her even though he can do nothing (yet) to save her.

    Love Sonia :)

Just as I start to feel a bit more positive about Sirius he goes and ruins it all. The nerve of him denying breast milk to poor Persimmonie and insisting Adura go first. It's not as if there won't be enough milk for both of the babies and him, the greedy perverted mutt. Poor Hermione must be feeling like a cow. Maybe she should moo a few times the next time he's at her. I'm so glad Remus found a way to tell Albus what's going on, now if they can only get her and the children out of there. I'm so glad Remus is working with Hermione to get her to accept Adura. It isn't the poor baby's fault her father is so insane. Must be all the inbreeding, hopefully Adura's escaped that. I'm hoping too, that Sirius won't ruin the closeness Hermione is starting to feel towards her second daughter, it wouldn't take much for him to bring the resentment up again. Like Remus, I am worried about Kreacher. What is he plotting in that evil elf mind of his? And finally, I hope Ron and Ginny can get some kind of help and protection, but I bet it can't be too obvious or Kreacher will suspect something. The wretched elf is mad, but he's not stupid.

I have to admit, I was relieved at the relative lack of horror in this chapter. Poor Hermione has been through so much already, and I'm glad it seems to be drawing a little closer to an end. I can't help but feel things are going to get a little worse before they get any better though. I must have imagined circumstances for her escaping or being rescued or set free about a thousand times, but I don't think she'll ever really be safe until someone kills Kreature. And then, also, all those deatheaters, she'd never really feel safe in public, not knowing if one of those people walking around of the streets had sat back and laughed, or participated.

I kept thinking of portkeys, which would be tricky now, with the babies, and setting Kreature up for Sirius's anger. I wonder whether Remus telling Hermione about his brainwashing theory would help her or hurt her. It wouldn't do any good while she was trapped, but maybe after.

Thanks, this break was almost...sweet. And that tells you how brutal some other bits have been.

I have been itching to leave a review for some time, but I could not get myself to express the thoughts correctly. It was quite difficult to form emotions into words! =))

First of all: good work. Excuse me if any of the following points seem rude: I never meant them to be. I am just curious about certain things.

    1. Is there any Ultimate Plan behind Kreacher's actions? Or does he just want to turn everything into pure sex? The latter would still be okay, I think, but... well... Everything else is so logical and makes up a great system of actions and relationships none of which were formed by physiology only... and to find all this caused by a crazy elf... instead of Elf With Brains and a Big Bad Plan... well, you get the idea.
    2. The logical task Remus had to solve was just great. I just couldn't stop thinking about what would I do if I were in his shoes. Now I'll stick with the story to the end for sure!
    3. I do not really know if it's brains or talent, I just... I have never read a story which described violence in such way. And I have reasons to suppose I have read a lot of them. Everything else never managed to get into my not-anymore-sensitive head: nowadays we have all the information about all kinds of violence that can be offered, so it is not possible to tell anything new. It is all in the way of telling. Oh, it is quite difficult to explain... To put it simply: you are the only author who made me feed that violence is REALLY REALLY BAD. I could just feel the horror. And more than that, you have shown some seemingly innocent things that can lead to terrible consequences if let out of hand (like reading too much porn and actually believing what you read) - well, in our daily life, they usually don't, but it is always good to remember which potential dangers are we playing with. Never before have I learnt any kind of a valuable lesson from a fanfic - just some metaphysical stuff to entertain my brain with, but nothing of it can be compared to this. THANK YOU.
    4. To put it bluntly: oh my, how great it is for an adult-rated fic to be written by someone who does not only know what sex is, but also describes it in a believable way (for those who also know not only the theoretical part).

Oh, and sorry for my crappy English ^^ Thanks once again, I hope we'll see more of your fic soon!

You've posted another chapter! You are on a roll and quite on your way to spoiling us. :)

*Again, I continue to learn from this story. Painful contrations *after* giving birth. Did not know that. And she has to breast feed to babies. Poor girl.

*It's been mentioned a number of times, and again in this chapter, but I keep forgetting that Hermione is taken to Bella's place every day. Every day. Not only does she have to deal with all the stuff with Sirius, but daily couplings at Bella's? How is she even sane. Part of me is glad for Kreacher's teachings because I'm thinking that as awful as everything is, maybe it prepared her a bit? Every day. wow.

*"he had cried himself to sleep that night once he was returned to his room, writhing in the bed as the memories repeatedly flooded over him." Poor Remus. I'm glad he's finding some comfort in spending time with Hermione, because that poor man is hurting and being eaten away by guilt. (Poor Tonks and her mousy brown hair too.)

*'No, I'll just snack in bed.' Oh Sirius, you are so out there. And the fact that he watches how the babies feed to best help his own sucking enjoyment is a bit creepy. Okay, a lot creepy.

*And now to the little ones. Poor Persimmonie not getting her mother's milk and poor Adara being rejected by her mom. But it was good to see Hermione bond with Adara as the chapter went on.

*I'm so, so happy this chapter ended on a positive note and not with one of Kreacher's creepy observations/promises/threats.
