Bah, right off there's a bloody need for tissues, isn't there?!! I loved Ginny and Harry's little make up scene (except for the tears). It was very heartfelt from both of them and I love his list of reasons why he loves her. (sigh) LMAO on the thought that Hermione could be in love with Snapey. (I suppose I have to line up for him too). LOL

Aww, I did want Pansy to be the one to do the breaking off first but I'm sure you have a good reason for it. I guess Draco needs a little dignity too. And I do wonder what Snape put in his letter to Narcissa. Very interesting. Of course, Narcissa will have changed too so maybe it's nothing to do with the letter at all. Funny how she started talking about Andromeda though, wonder if there's any more to that?? And good on Pansy for setting Draco straight and shaking him out of his little pity party for one. Loved that and he needed to hear it.

How sweet that she rushed to tell Hermione and Ginny her good news. And I agree with Hermione, what another barbaric old fashioned idea regarding the male side over money and status - it's ridiculous. Good thing I wasn't living in those times, I tell you. (Mind you, I doubt I'd have been around long enough to have expressed my opinion too much.)

Hmm just when I started thinking there might be a bit more to Millie she goes and mentions brats and shoe shopping. Either that's what she thinks is expected of all pureblood marriages or she is being extremely sarcastic because she's harbouring a desire for the whole marriage and babies thing too. She's not promised to anyone, is she? LMAO, given the amount of children in the Weasley family, I wonder if Pansy knows what she's in for anyway, it would probably be a tribe all over again. LOL

LMAO with the come backs Pansy gave to BOTH Hermione and Draco. At least I ended up laughing my arse off rather then end it the way I began. LOL I so wanted to see both their faces when I read those comments. hee hee hee

And LMAO - I didn't think you'd answer all my ranmblings by chapter, but I love that you did. I guess that makes me fangirly too. LOL

Oh you tease! I affected the story?? How? When? I want details. LOL Just kidding. I know what you mean though. I think it's great when a reviewer says something and it just fits or sounds even better than what you had or fixed something you didn't realise need fixing, so if I helped then yay because it happens with me too.

LMAO, oh yes, there has to be a tender but naughty side to Lucius and all those schexy Slytherins in general. ;) And yeah, a marriage like the Parkinsons have does sound rough to me but there are worse ones out there. Oh you can see Theo as a counseller too - love it. Just imagine all those snooty purebloods trying to discuss their marriage woes - they'd hate every second of it. I have faith in Blaise making his way through his own storm though - just wish he'd get on with it already. LOL

Ah, that's an old saying but I love it just the same. Just because one is married, doesn't mean they can't still enjoy the view and imagine 'what if'. I suppose not everyone would agree with that but to each their own. I agree, Ginny would have to be strong and mature and be able to stand up for herself - she'd have to with all those older brothers trying to boss her around. LOL And this Ron rocks because you let him grow up too. I think the other 'Rons' have their place but I do like to read when he's a bit more understanding too.

Are you heading over here for work again? Awesome! To you get to travel much while you're here? Hope so! I agree, being 18 doesn't make you well rounded as yet (although when I was 18 I certainly thought I was) LOL Live and learn. LOL Hmmm, I might have actually got a little something out of that gibberish after Greg's name, let's see how I go on that one. ;) And thanks, now I know what GQ stands for. LOL Totally understand why the Malfoys would have it at home. :)

That opening telephone sequence of gossip was so funny and so perfect.

I have to say I just loved Ginny's speech. So grown up. And Pansy's reaction to the Draco's news was moving. You could tell she didn't want to insult him but she was so relieved to be FREE. I have a feeling Pansy is going to be a trailblazer when it comes to breaking pureblood female traditions. You could tell just by her response to Millie that she's not one to shop, have babies and be pampered. She wants to make her mark on the world. I don't think it'll be easy with her parents but she has to find the courage to do what she feels is right and not be boxed in - not when she's tasted freedom.

The insight into Draco was so appreciated. His speech started off typical Draco and then the horrible things that he said about himself reveal how so much guilt. He really doesn't like himself, its no wonder he's lost a bit of his swagger - especially when trying to figure out how to deal with Hermione. I hope he finds it or at least gets locked in a broom closet with her. LOL

oh, hooray! Once again your brilliance with the details is what is making me happiest. Of COURSE Draco would subscribe to Gentleman's Quarterly - though I suppose he'd need some sort of smartass "some of the greatest designers are also secret wizards" justification in the background. And I love all the not-so-secret checking out that Hermione's doing. But best of all is Draco's unfounded jealousy - totally delicious! I'd like to keep that around for a few more rounds, please. SO much fun. :) Nice that you're letting Greg Goyle down easily too

I like that Hermione's "mentor" is also a muggle and has some of her own issues - though I assume you'll also give her the authority to help Hermione take on some of her insecurities. Perhaps by letting Hermione think they're discussing her own sensitivity about the telepathy/unconscious legillimancy? (sp?) I'm happy to trust you to take care of the story - you're doing a marvelous job all along - but I do like the "duh! headdesk!" moments and I'm seeing the potential for several of them here. :)

good lord I'm gone for a week or two and you write several AMAZING chapters! I'm not gonna lie.. the idea of Draco just giving in and snogging her senseless in the classroom was kind of hot... lol and I love how unbelievably realistic and good this is! You have this amazing ability to make it not just sexy smut but a really amazing story!
cannot wait to read more hun!

Harry is an IDIOT! Really, so now he's saved the world and he's become the teenage ponce he didn't get a chance to be? How could he say what he did? Its not his place to do anything for Hermione - he sees she likes him and its already got her flustered, why does he feel the need to make himself more of a nuisance. LOVED Draco's even reply - he's not with Pansy anymore. I wonder who will be more relieved: him or Pansy.

I loved it when he caught her hand - boy if that doesn't say "I like you" then what does? Come on Hermione, suck it up and dig deep for that Gryff courage - talk to the boy. As a matter of fact, go look for him in the skies.

I really like Prof Mills and wonder if she's going to play a bigger role because of her ability. She's going to be able to see the "truth" of things amongst all her students, not just our fave couple.

Blaise needs to stick his head in an ice bucket - he is going to explode from hot heated he gets over nothing. Sigh, can't wait for more.

Oooo I knew there was more to that Peyton Mills. Uncontrollable Legimens though - wow, that would really suck. I suppose it would have it's moments but something you just can't control, that's rough. And I'm so surprised at Hermione's reaction even though I understand to a degree about what she's saying. You'd think Hermione would know better than to judge someone else so quickly. Had to laugh at the 'all my life' part after finding out she's only 20. (no offense intended to anyone under 20 reading this) But I can see they will work through this initial misunderstanding and become good friends seeing as they are so close in age, Hermione is coming up to her 18th birthday after all.

Aww, good on Greg, I like the way he handled that but I can't help wondering if Millie had anything to do with his new way of thinking after that last chapter. Alright, does Theo know something we don't? Does he have someone in mind for Greg? After all he's giving the dating game an interesting cover, isn't he? LOL And look out, they're sitting together, wonder what everyone else will think of that? Darn distractions again but at least it appears as though Blaise is making some effort, slowly but surely and I love that Harry kept his mouth shut while they were arguing too, it was hard but he did it. LOL now it's Draco's turn for the butterflies - love it. And Blaise joined in on the convo, finally, instead of grumbling and carrying on. True, only to the other Slytherins but he wasn't exactly talking to them before either.

Okay, what is GQ magazine? My ignorance is showing? Must be good going by Hermione's reactions. LOL Body building perhaps? LOL Not that Draco didn't mind her checking him out either. (Made poor Harry ill though - the poor baby). LMAO Interesting that Narcissa is freeing them of the marriage contract but I sure do hope Pansy gets to tell Draco she doesn't want to marry him first before he gets to tell her the contract is off. She needs to say it more than he does, I feel. And OMG, there you go again doing something outlandish like having Hermione put her hand on Draco's thigh (how high up??) LOL Sure it would have been like when she wanted to hug him that night when she spied him up on the tower but stillllllllllll!!!! How can you finish it there??? Grabbing for her hand then both freaking out and him running off like a scared kid to go flying (yeah right ;) ) Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooo!!! And whew, I've caught up with you at last. :) Dang it!!! LMAO

Yeah, I know I have writing to do. (sigh) I've been a bad girl. Still I started on one story yesterday but probably not the one you're waiting for. Hopefully the muses will be kind and I can get stuck in again on the other one.

Chap 21 - Good to see Ginny is aware that love doesn't solve everything - always was a little more mature for her age, wasn't she? And she shouldn't have tried to change to get Harry to notice her although really he only did when she stopped trying so hard and went back to being herself (on Hermione's advice). I can understand her worrying that he might not like the real Ginny but parts of her have always been shining through. One can't hide who they really are for very long.

"The sharpest quill in the set" LMAO OMG there he goes thinking maturely again. I really like this version of Ron - and who wouldn't grow up after what they've been through. And yeah, if things didn't work out, I'd definitely feel sorry for Draco, Ron could make his life hell quite easily because it might be the one thing Draco couldn't hide behind his mask of indifference. And woah, way to put it out there Ron. Couldn't have spelt it out more clearly if he tried. Loved Harry's parting shot to Ron about trying not to hex Draco in front of witnesses.

Aww got to love there's an Aussie witch in here (even if technically she only grew up there). I liked her take on why they need the class too and how she made it seem attainable for them. More to her than meets the eye, right? Would have thought they would have worked that out long ago though, what if they'd needed to hide in the muggle world during Voldemort's reign (as I'm sure some did) it would have only been effective if they could blend completely in the muggle society. Nicely done on the whole concept. :)

Ooh she wants to touch him, LMAO How does she ever manage to resist it? I think I've forgotten what those little butterflies feel like too. :( Maybe that's a good thing though. And OMG we've made contact - well at least Draco kind of made a move, sort of, a little bit. By accident, I think. LOL And boy did they get sprung in a big way, not that Draco's aware of the fact - yet. LOL and Parvati's already offering makeover time. I don't think Hermione needs it though. Poor Greg though but that's very interesting that Millie ran after him and tried to snap him out of it. I wonder what you have planned there, if anything. Maybe Millie's not the big bad girl I thought she was, I guess there could be a softer side to her?? ;)

And I'm almost caught up again - yay and boohoo at the same time.

Chap 20 - Wahhhhhhhhh I want to be watching all those quidditch muscles in motion too. Did he have his shirt off? No? Pity! I think there should definitely be some shirt off moments. LOL And good on you Ginny, just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean you can't enjoy the scenery. It's cool to look at the menu (discreetly) as long as you eat at home, right?

Well there you go, she's admitted it, hormonal maybe and yeah, there's a lot of stuff to deal with from their pasts but if both are prepared to forgive and move on - yayness. Still a long way to go, I know. Aww and poor Pansy, it's never easy to feel alone in a crowd, that's for sure.

Oh LMAO, I can't stop laughing just picturing Blaise and Hermione being told off by the younger students. Way to go! Finally!! I knew you were going to give him a bit of a kick but I wasn't expecting that. OK wasn't expecting them to chastise Hermione so much either but what a riot. I hope it sinks in - almost having respect for Hermione - well it's not much but it's a start. He's finally aware of how his behaviour is effecting those around him - woo hoo! Falls off chair laughing.

There goes Theo into couple therapy mode. LOL At least Harry is listening to him even if it is somewhat defensively. Gawd he is channelling his feminine side telling Harry he doesn't have to 'FIX things' and you're so right - men, in general, do have that need to fix things even when there's nothing to be fixed and all we want it to be listened to when we're expressing our feelings. *cough* And LMAO for asking Harry to keep his mind off Ginny by heloping Theo get Hermione and Draco to get to know eachother better- oh this is just too much.

Okay, I'm not happy because I had a review for chap 19 done and the bloody site updated and it got deleted. That will teach me not to save it at that time of the night, won't it? :( Anyways, here I go again. Theo's sudden insights and wishes to resolvee everyone's 'couple problems' is hysterical - is he in touch with his feminine side? LOL Still, would have loved to have seen his jaw drop when he made the connection between Hermione and Draco thanks to Pansy's avid staring between the two.

LMAO on Hermione's overtime thinking once again. Yes he is looking at your butt and yes he is smelling the scent of the shampoo in your hair and neither is a negative thought process. And oi, how could you stop it there? He looks like he could what??????? Totally get that she would feel happy to see Snapey. He's the one constant thing there is considering all that they've been through - I bet he thought she was bloody mad when he saw her smiling at him.

Now Draco's overthinking everything too. You know technically he shouldn't be so hard on himself. When asked to identify the trio that night when his aunt held them captive, he wouldn't do it. Granted he didn't help them but he certainly didn't give them away either. Oooo look at Greg warning him off not to hurt her and what a defensive come back. I liked that he instantly apologised, the old Draco wouldn't have done that. (sigh) And there goes Blaise oening his mouth and sticking both feet in again. I swear, even I am beginning to lose patience with him. That kick up the arse better happen soon.

Bloody hell, how are things going to go in Potions class now. Draco and Hermione together? Ginny and Blaise trying to work together (which technically is a good idea having the two heads together and all and just who the heck is partnered with Ron????? You darn tease!!!

I loved the chapter, the interactions between Hermione and Draco keep getting better =]. Is there a certain reason he's obsessed with her scent other then the fact that he's crushing over her?

its about time Greg gets off Hermione's back lol that was a bit odd

Another wonderful chapter. And a great way to get them both out of the engagement. Goodon Draco for doing the honorable thing, and I know he will happy with the reaction he'll get from Pansy. Chap 18 - had enough of my ramblings yet? LOL Steady now Draco, don't overthink the situation - that's Hermione's job. And for goodness sake, Millie would you buggar off already?? Mentally cheating! I always wondered if that was as bad as the real thing. I suppose it depends on whether you're using it to fuel fantasies with the one you're with or not, I guess???

Hmm, Draco's turn to talk with Snapey. Can I be a wayward naughty Slytherin who need a good (cough) talking to (cough) please? LOL LMAO on his reaction to knowing that Draco's future bride prefers Weasley. Yes, yes, yes, agree that love protected Harry whether it was because of his mother or someone else's mother, something Draco and Harry have in common though I suspect they wouldn't like any comparisons to be made between them either. LOL I like what Snapey had to tell him too, it's not too late for Draco after all and he should seize his chance to make a difference.

Ah, Harry's got the girls around to help him out, it would make sense if Luna did have that particular skill, she does seem to come out with just the right thing at times and then covers it up with obscurity.

And there's Blaise not thinking things through again. You're going to give him a wake up call though, I can feel it. Just don't know exactly how you're going to do it.

Poor Pansy, that would be hard knowing her parent's marriage is such a sham like that. I guess there are probably a lot of marriages out there that are like that and I guess if they work then to each their own but she obviously doesn't want that so I'm glad she's made the decision to go ahead and break the engagement despite what her parents and indeed everyone else might think. And I love the insights she now has into other people - like Theo. It's giving her the strength to go out and be herself and daring others to make something of it too.

Darn it Hermione, follow your gut and go give him that hug!!! Yeah, I know, like it would be that easy. LOL I can dream, can't I? And aww Ron, I love that you want to protect your friend but you always go about it the wrong way and make things so much worse than they are.

And there's Parvati dishing out some good advice, if Hermione gets with it. Oh but that had nothing on what Pansy had to say, now did it? Way to go Panys, I can see Hermione's not going to take it well at all. That big river in Egypt, right? ;) Yep, hell hath no fury like an in de nile Hermione Granger. LMAO Oops on the Ron reference. LOL

Ohhh and though it's well delayed by now, Happy New Year, 'cause I don't think I said that before.

Chap 16-17 (double the fun, hey?) LOL Loving the insight we're getting into so many different characters and how the feel about what's going on around them. These are my favourite stories to read because I always want to know what everyone is thinking and how they react to things. LMAO at the tiny lovehearts with the little 'T's' in them. Such a typical romantic teen thing to do. Love their reactions when Theo asked if he could sit beside her. Ah, young love (I feel so old and jaded reading this).

Wow, similarities between Ron and Draco??? Never would have thought that. :) Maybe they are since Pansy seems to be so much more observant than others around her. LMAO catching Draco watching Hermione and how sweet of Ron to acknowledge her and yet being totally unaware that she was staring at him. Typical Ron. Is that the comparison then, both boys ignorant when it comes to knowing someone likes them??? LOL

Yay that Tonks is there and teaching, I'm glad she's still around. :) Loved the reaction between herself and Draco - I did wonder how that would go.

Aww there's Greg trying to make a not so subtle move to get Hermione's attentions again. He's obviously noticed that Draco's noticed her. No-one can call him thick anymore, can they? LMAO there goes Theo making a move and 'guiding' Parvati to a seat - those Slytherins can be so smooth. LOL Oops and there goes Greg trying to make a move and grab Hermione's hand. Luckily she caught on to that. OMG Ron caught on that Greg likes Hermione???? Well that kinda makes what I just said before all wrong, doesn't it? LOL Ah he's noticed Pansy though even though he doesn't realise it's directed at him. And there, Draco's noticed about Greg and about Theo. Still hasn't woken up to his own feelings though.

LMAO Ron was almost on to it and it slipped right underneath his nose, didn't it? Parvati picked up on it and so did Theo and there's poor old Ron still oblivious to it all. Aww but she dropped Greg right in it, didn't she? I know she didn't mean to but that was still not a nice thing to do. I suppose it gave Hermione an opportunity to say she just wanted to be friends but still, that's a bit sad. I'd hate if that happened to me. Kudos to him for admitting it though.

Uhoh, Harry and Ginny are having that talk. I can see where she's coming from. She wants to be his equal, not just the girlfriend of the boy who lived. She needs to know who she is so she feels complete enough to be a part of his life which in a way is complete. Then again, he does need to find out who he is and what his purpose is now that he's defeated Voldemort.

Wow, when did Neville get all mature and with it? LOL (Love it)

Ahhh, the conversation between Blaise and Snapey is not going the way I thought. Poor Blaise, he doesn't even know why he's angry any more, does he? All those non-reasons he gave just showed how ridiculously far his anger has taken him and he's still not prepared to see it. I wonder what will make him open up his eyes and see what's in front of him?

Love, love, love Draco and Dumbledore's little chat. It really cleared the air didn't it? And I think helped relieve a little of the guilt that Draco so obviously still feels. And of course Albus left him something cryptic to think about. LOL

Ah here's the confrontation and wow, Ron got under Draco's skin - that's a first. LOL And oh no, he blurted out that he wanted to go out with Hermione didn't he and both of them just realised the truth behind those words. And goshdarnit, just when we get that juicy bit of gossip everything spins out of control and suddenly every wizzard and his owl (except for Harry) are there butting in on the conversation. Poor Ginny, she really is out of sorts at the moment, I hope Harry can understand where she's really coming from but arrrrrggggghhhh I wanted that conversaton sorted between Ron and Draco. LOL
