All right! A marriage proposal, and that led to harry revolting! lol Of all of them I never thought of him as being the one to get upset about one of the guys proposing to their girl. Someone had to be first, right? And Wonderful Ron is winning me over as having a great personality. (Harry is in my dog house) I really can't wait for Wednesday. Still giving wonder to Greg... Ta Ta !!!

couldn't remember if I gave a review for this chapter, so I re-read it, Smirking here and waiting patiently to see who will be Gregs luckey lady. And Blaise with Luna? I can see that... Thanks , I enjoyed the kill! Don't kill me, but I sent Tom Felton your story, version HPFF. Believe it or not, he does read fan fiction once in awhile. This story was the first thing that popped into my head, so I did. I recomend your writings all the time, why not Tom Felton? lol.

LMAO Ron counting the number of times Pansy brushed up against him - like it wasn't deliberate on both sides. And of all the people to run into while they were trying to sneak off in such a terrible hurry. Poor Snapey, I think he rather enjoys spoiling couples' fun. Do I need to take care of him too? Dare we think of a fitting name for a Slytherin groupie? LMAO

And I feel sorry for Parvati now. How can Theo not enjoy dancing? Seriously? Doesn't he know what he's missing out on? I love how easily they talk to one another though and LMAO - talk about slow not getting why Hermione didn't want him to hurry back to his room. (Bring on chapter 42 *cough*) And oh dear, a family curse against pre-marital sex??? OUCH!!! Actually that would work out well for Parvati because I believe their culture has strict rules on that sort of thing too. Not the most romantic proposal either but you certainly can't argue that it was a heartfelt one and very real to both of them. And I'm glad she stopped him from saying too much, I can well imagine what a magical binding could do.

Loved the guys standing around discussing being engaged but Humph as if we all want to get married just because one of our girlfriends gets hitched. I must have a word to Blaise about such a silly statement. We all get caught up in the excitment, absolutely, but that doesn't mean we want to hitch our wagons to that particular train either. (sigh) Must admit at that age though, the girls probably would think exactly like Blaise said. Would serve Harry right if Ginny didn't show any interest in marriage - she's still finding herself after all. LOL Good on Draco for telling him to pull his head in - it's not about Harry at all.

Blaise certainly has had a big turn around, making jokes, offering sincere congratulations - finally. :) And I love Ron and Draco's little conversation too, nice exchange. I wonder what the girls were all saying (as if I didn't know - LOL). And finally what a lovely moment between Ron and Pansy - that got one big old heart filled sigh from me - lovely stuff. :)

LMAO - I don't mind sharing Blaise with Margaritama. On my 'off' days, I will just have to pursue Draco, Lucius and Severus - hence my reference to being a Slytherin groupie earlier. LMAO ;) Not sure about the jello wrestling though. LOL And yeah, Millie and Greg weren't right for eachother for all the reasons you said. I wonder who you're going to find for him??? Between you and LadyBlueEyes, Luna is just perfect, I love how you both write for her. :) You haven't danced on tables - my goodness woman, we'll really have to sort that out. LOL Oh and I like the idea of being a Slyvenpuff too - just tack groupie on the end. ROFL at own sad, silly joke.

I liked this chapter....Lots of understated things happened here.

But first the most obvious was Theo asking Vati to marry him....so sweet! So perfect and so totally unplanned. I love this couple...even though its a draco/hermione story, Theo and Parvati were the first couple to really show everyone else that relationships between the houses (especially Slyhterin and Gryffindor) were possible.

    Understatement #1
Harry turns Theo's proposal to Parvati around so that its about him and Ginny (not on purpose) and Draco corrects him. No one turns it into an argument and Harry even acknowledges that Draco was right.....it was a moment, small but significant between Harry and Draco. No they might not be best friends, but there's hope that things will improve between them.

    Understatement #2
Ron tells Draco that with the right guy Hermione would want the whole package. Its not said, but it is clearly implied that Draco IS that guy. Kudos to Ron for being the mature one when so many of us dramione shippers write him as the immature one. LOL

    Understatement #3
Ron and Pansy declaring their LIKE for one another. LOL they already harbor deeper feelings than that but it will be interesting to see how long it takes and who says I love you first.

    Understatement #4
Blaise cracking jokes at the table with everyone else?? Luna must have said some interestings while they danced...LOL Ok so no Luna and Blaise but I think I may have an idea who you have for him. We'll see if I am right as the story progresses =)

As I said the happenings in this chapter were understated but so very important because they represent a turning point in a lot of the relationships (friendship and romantic) in this story! Brilliantly done!!

    Love and Hugs!

Blaise and Luna - yes I can see that. LOL, he's nutty and her cosmic uniqueness would be a good balance for him. They probably make a striking couple too.

Oh, that was so funny with the boys waiting for the girls. It just seemed like fun. You really know how to put us there with your characters. I felt like one of the guys a bit. I think they needed a bit of levity.

Sigh, Greg is single but holy cow did Millie move fast huh? She's a woman on a mission and she doesn't second guess herself. I like that. Greg seemed fine as well, that's good though I do just adore him.

Drum roll, Hermione is ready. Draco must have been stunned. I think this will change everything for him. Her is a given but it will affect him so deeply to have a girl who hated him give something so precious to him. I hope the first time is sweet and lovely then let's get diiiirrrttty! LOL

Again, great story, I never ever get tired of saying it.

The dresses were all lovely and the girls were undoubtedly very beautiful. And I'm sure the blokes looked hot too! I must admit I liked the sound of Hermine's dress the best. :) I love how the guys were sitting around waiting for their girlfriends and having their own little reflections etc. I hope I'm not pre-empting but when I saw the mention of Ron remembering how long the girls took to get ready for the Yule Ball, I did wonder if you were going to show Draco remembering how Hermione looked that night too. Of course, I got a big smile out of Hermione telling him that he could completely mess her up later. LOL

Poor Greg, even if he's not too upset, it's no fun to break up at a formal event but I know you will continue to be very nice to him. :) As for Blaise, aww, he's trying so much harder now, that was so sad that he only got a date because the Ravenclaw 'lost' the 'bet' and had to dance with him. Maybe Dreamweaver needs to make another appearance and sweep him off his feet? LMAO ;) ;)

I LOVE Luna! I love how she just says what she thinks, tells the truth no matter what and then turns around and makes a person laugh or feel good about themselves again without so much as batting an eyelash. I think she'll do a good job of looking after Blaise.

That was a very reflective chapter and very sweet and far too short because I want to know what happens when Draco whisks Hermione away. LOL And if I knew how to apparate I would have whisked you away to the party with me. We would have had a blast. :) You like dancing on tables, don't you? LMAO And singing, we did a lot of singing! Seriously though, we did have a good night and be grateful I left my review until after I could type properly once more. LOL I like the idea of a Ravenpuff - I think I'd be one of those too - but with a cheeky streak fitting of a Slytherin. What a pity I can't say I'm brave as well. LMAO

Okay I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few chapters..but chapter 40 was definitely the break from all the serious emotion these characters are dealing with!

I was glad to see all the wizards waiting for their respective witch, even Blaise was there, which was important because even though he didn't have a girl he is still a part of the group!

LMAO at "Merlin!" "No, I'm Hermione!" that was cute and sweet! And Oh My! She is ready to take the next step....Poor Draco now he must spend the rest of the dance counting down the minutes until he can get his witch alone!

I;m glad to see that Millicent and Greg have parted ways, though they were good for each other's ego and confidence. Please don't tell me you are going to leave my Greg alone! He needs someone too! (Sorry...LOL thats the hopeless romantic in me!) And Luna...I just adore her character....and I love that she had Blaise dance with her...is that a bit of foreshadowing, my dear? Are we to see a relationship eventually arise between Blaise and Luna? I think that would be sweet =)

Wonderful writing!! Can't wait for more!!!

The dresses sounded just gorgeous. Loved that Luna finally took pity on Blaise. Sounds like she'd be good for him. Can't wait for the rest, too. I love how you've drawn all of them. They're really alive. :D

"Together, they were like a fine potion; a lot of volatile ingredients that when put together and nurtured correctly, could produce something perfect." What a perfect line and perfect way to describe the two protagonists. Just lovely writing.

Okay, wow - alot of introspection in this chapter huh? Alot of loneliness rising to the surface mixed with sorting of many feelings yet with a measure of resolution. Greg is just a wonderful character. He really understands himself and has an insight into others around him that no one else full comprehends. He seems pleased with Mil but I think he's still searching. I hope he realizes that he doesn't need to find it all right now - that he should just enjoy the time he has and create memories he'll always treasure. I think part of him feels a bit guilty about Millie like he's using her (that was my sense). It seems to me he honestly likes her and just enjoys her company and that's okay. He doesn't need to love her, not everyone finds love so quickly but he does need to be respectful and kind which he seems to be living up too. I think Greg will grow into a formidable man with one of the biggest hearts ever.

Blaise, Blaise, Blaise - oh baby, I want to be your girl. He needs warmth and this brick wall is beginning to have chinks. I wonder what he was thinking witnessing the Patil twins father spewing such horrible things about his friend? I'm sure he wanted to do what Draco did but he has to find his courage. Blaise is clearly sorting through everything despite his volatile nature that flares on occasion. Again, I'm here to offer comfort. LOL! :-)

Thank you for the fantastic insight into Dumbledore. That was so necessary. He looms quietly in every nook of that school and offering him a chance at peace by reconciling with his three most memorable Gryffindors must have been a salve for his weary soul. I'm sure he was stunned by Hermione's temper and Ron's moment with him was heartbreaking. It's not often we see Ron's insecurities so well verbalized but the hurt and confusion came through clear as a bell.

Loved the funny scene with Harry and Ginny. Poor Harry, I think he needed a bit of a release! LOL

Yummy Draco and naughty Hermione. SO SMEXY!
