Very, very excellent! A really enjoyable read with suspense as well as romance. Loved it. Thanks for sharing. p

Awww, that is so sad. I was hoping that Lucius would grab him and hug him even if somewhat out of character for him. Since he had become a different man with the other child, I was hoping it would carry over, I guess. It would be a blessing if Draco never remembered some of his other life. p

Excellent story. And thank you for not having Hermione be whiny and immediately accept Ron's apology. Too little, too late. It is kind of hard to watch Ginny have someone that is adoring of her when Hermione literally gave up her whole life for she and her mother (supposedly, I think that they just knew that Ron was a wuss). Draco is just heart breaking and it is good to see that in spite of his strange behaviors, Hermione can find it in her heart to love him. It seems that is what he needs most. p

If there is a place on AFF to rate the best stories, I will nominate this one for the top slot. I loved it. One of my favorite things you did was Draco's adoptive family. Even though they minor characters, there was so much depth and description. It was great. I also enjoyed how the whole world felt realistic, even moreso than JKR's herself. I'm off to read the other fics you wrote within this universe. I hope we see what happens to Ron. All in all this was a fabulous fic. Great job.

I must admit, I've never read a novel length fic like this before. It confuses me as to why Hermione loves Draco, but the relationship still works.

    Good Fic.

Great story. Can't wait to read the two sequels, though I hope you'll return to more of Draco and Hermione's lifes too... e.g. Hermione's children starting school.
    Keep up the great work!

This is the story that you hooked me with. You have an eternal fan with this one. I haven't read the others in this series yet, but I'll get there, I promise! And I'll do better & review this time!! Maybe not every chapter, but I'll do more than once a story! Now, to finish reviewing the others I've read!!

I'm sure I read the first few chapters of this story a while back but then I must have lost track of it because I know I never finished it. Just rediscovered it and finished reading it today. I'm so glad I did. What a wonderful tale of change and redemption. To see Draco go from the depths of madness, to the heroism of destroying Voldemort on his own, to the redemption of regaining his life and his sanity was amazing. I love the man he has become by the end of your story and so happy that he and Hermione were able to find each other.
    Great job!!!!

I must say that I am just...WOW...that is all I can think to say about this story. I realize it was a challange but I think you did a wonderful job with the prompts that you were given and totally made it your own. Looking forward to reading the next story. VERY GOOD!!!

Okay, I accidentally deleted the following review. Here it is, copy and pasted from the email I recieved.

It is from someone called BlueAlquimista

Oh, please... the typical bad-boys are wonderful!!!... and Harry was a hero, but Ron is a bas*#rd... and in the end, Hermione and Ginny will be in love with Lucius and/or Snape... I'm sorry but I dont 'buy' this... for something like this chose original characters, not 'know' characters than only have the name in common with the cannon.

    bye.

And since AFF has no response system set up, here is my rebuttal:

First: If you had bothered to read the introduction to the story, you would have read that the entire premise was a response to a challenge. If you have issues with Ron being a shitehead in the story, please contact Gryffindorclutz. She is the one who wrote the premise, I simply found it intriguing.

Second: If you had bothered to read the story at all, you would have found that Hermione doesn't end up with Lucius. She ends up with Draco. In the second story, which I am writing right now, Ginny ends up with Snape, who incidentally, was a hero in canon, or haven't you read the books?

In this universe, Harry died. I certainly hope Ginny wouldn't curl and die. She's too strong a character for that.

Third: in this universe, Tonks lives. Albeit, she crawls out of a mass grave at Hogwarts from beside the body of the man she loved most. She ends up being in a forced marriage after a horrific night of torture to Lucius.

Fifth: Ron, at this juncture is an imbecile in the stories. He's suffering from PTSD and trying to hang on by his teeth and nails. I have plans for him in another story. Again, if you read this story, you would have known that.

When an author asks for reviews, please have the courtesy to actually read the story before you blast them. If you had, you wouldn't have sounded like such a whinging idiot.

Wow...that was sheer and utter genius. An undeniably addicting story, it captivates in the very first few words. I loved how you took an almost Oedipus like turn in the beginning, with the odd relationship between father, son, and Hermione, and continued throughout with the relationship dynamic in a realistic manner. As always, I am glad to see Ron as something other than yet another perfect addition to the Golden Trio, although I was sad to hear of Harry's death. Do you happen to write original stories at all, with your own original characters? If so, I would love to read them, unless you have yet to finish them of course. In that case you'll have to write faster and get published sooner, so that I can begin being an official fangirl of your work.

    Addicted to your words,

    Odi

hey tambra, I am writing for two things, firstly congratulations on finishing a brilliant piece of story that had every emotion known to man, which in turn had me riveted to the screen as I read and laughed, screamed, cried and cursed so many times. And Goodluck on the second instalment on the story the werewolf chronicles, brilliant if I do say so. I loved everything u have done in the intial story and dont think I will ever read such a magnificent and unique story of that nature again. I look forward to reading more of your works in the future.

SECONDLY AND THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT SO READ...PLZ:
I have come across a disturbing situation in that I have started reading a story and it is like some copied and pasted your ideas and into the story although it is somewhat abbreviated and rushed to maqke time to have passed longer in the story. I was shocked and befuddled by the audacity of the similarities, it is wrong when ppl steal ideas like this, and it makes it harder for writers to feel safe with their original ideas. The name of the story is "The Secrets Women Keep" by PersephoneBlck you can probably check it out and let me know. And also I dont know if the entire story is gonna be the same lines as yours its only 8chapters in, but the same outwieghs the different.
My email is scarlet_witch_extreme@hotmail.com let me what u think.

    Loyal fan
