Ohdearlord, I freaking loved this one! It was amazing from start to finish, and I wish there was more, but I aslo really love how you ended it. T_T
Besides a few grammar or spelling errors, it was written really well, and I loved how you portrayed the pair of them. I also really liked your rendition of post-fred George. Also, loved the way that until the moment George said there was nothing dodgy going on between them, how there were twincest undertones to add a bit of underlying humor and intrigue.

I really love their tradition of lying under the tree and staring up. I've never heard of anything like it, and it's facinating. I also had to look up a few of the food and drinks you mentioned, and it made me really hungry while reading, so thanks for that, too. Everything in this was warm and fuzzy interpersed with the proper amount sof tension and angst. <3

Some people have an annual tradition this time of year to watch The Grinch, or Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer or It's a Wonderful Life.... but I have this story. Just had to re-read it again because it is soooooo good! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season and great new year :)

Noooo it can't be over!!! Not that the ending wasn't brilliant, but it can't be over? I've spent my last two days reading this fic. Now what am I supposed to do???

Thank you so much for telling me about this story. I absolutely and totally loved it! I started reading it yesterday morning, but had to leave it for a while. But I picked it up again when I got home at night and stayed up till 4 am reading it. Today I have done nothing but read this story and it suddenly struck me how long it was. Damn, woman you can write!!! I couldn't stop reading once I'd started. You know how much I love these two, and since they work so well together and I don't want to break them up, I really want to marry George after reading this...lol

You were absolutely right in telling me about this fic so that I could be convinced that these two work well together. They really needed each other, didn't they? I loved how their relationship developed during the fic :D

LOL I've always liked Ron and Hermione in canon but not anymore. Godric she's a bitch! roflmao

You're bloody brilliant as usual! *envyenvyenvy*

Absolutely fabulous. You know you've written a successful story when someone not remotely interested in the pairing becomes absolutely enchanted. To be honest, I never had any interest in Snape/Ron, primarily because Ron just never really held any real appeal for me (I've nothing against him and think he's cute, but he's been ever the sidekick for me, never the star).

Still, it came highly recommended to me as a great read, and I'm rather picky, so I thought 'what the hell. Worst case, I don't like it.' Well, color me pleasantly surprised. You've had me from the beginning, and even though it's longer than most of the fics I'm willing to settle down and read (long fics cut too deeply into my writing time, no matter how much i love a good, well-developed plot), you got me well and hooked.

Wonderfully written. Maybe I won't look on Snape/Ron fics with my usual degree of trepidation in the future because of it. So thanks for opening my eyes to a new pairing that never blipped on my radar before.

    What a lovely story!

I really, REALLY love the way you wrote Ron! I have always liked Ron and I so loathe the way he's generally portrayed in fanfic, generally as pussy-whipped to death by Hermione, a bumbling buffoon, or as Harry's clueless sidekick. Finally we have a Ron who is not only mature, but intelligent and compassionate as well, yet is still possessed of his good humour and loyalty. You just wrote him so well and so likeable, and I think I felt more for Ron in this story than I did for Severus, who is my favourite character in the Potterverse. And, I have to say, that although I also loathe everything about Hermione in general, in this story, I loved the way you wrote her because I can so easily see how she could be such a bitch; its pretty much how I've always pictured her anyway. I'm so glad that you had Harry choose Ron over her. I've always thought that he would.

I'm not sure if you've converted me to an actual Snape/Ron fan yet, but I've certainly become a fan of your writing, and I look forward to reading all your other stories. Thanks for a particularly enjoyable read!

That was the loveliest ending. It left a nice warm feeling and full of hope for all involved including George. Awww the Christmas tree tradition and lol at the fairy. A very solid story from start to finish with the a good dose of angst and suspense.

Very bittersweet ending -- sweet for the pair, bitter for the readers. Thanks so much for sharing.

And the end is here - I truly am sorry to see it end, you know. Severus has grown quite a bit this year as a human being, and has become more tolerant of others - there is no way he would have decorated his house like that for just anyone. Or think about maybe returning to the wizarding world. He is, also, more or less healed, which is something I am sure Ron is elated about. And his interaction with the healers also shows that he is more relaxed and content.

I'm happy for George, too. He has had such a hard time, and seems to want to return to his life, to try and be happy. His mischievous nature has come back - starting by the rings.

Severus defiling the poor fairy - and George thinking on benefitting form it for his shop! Too good.

All in all, another of my favourite fics.

    Davinci

PS: I always say the same. But. Please, more?

PS2: You *have* started a Severus/Ron fanclub, you know. It's such an underappreciated pairing...

oh my goodness!!! I loved this story!! It was so freaking awesome and funny and sweet and smexy and just so Ron and Severus. Le sigh at the happy ending!!! It was wonderful (and left me with a desire to see the party Ron would throw for Severus on his 50th)

What do you mean darker then Invitation? Eeekers!!!! But I'll read it and be blown away by your talent!

*scampers to buy super industrial strength Kleenex and some really strong whiskey to prepare*

Once again awesome job and thanks for sharing with us :)

Aw, I'm going to miss this story. I loved it so much. I like how you made them come full circle, without the attempted murder of the Christmas tree. I would love to see them in ten years. Thanks for sharing this lovely story with us.

Oohh. . . (happy contented sigh). This is one I'm definitely pulling out during the holidays for a nice "get me in the mood" read. I will now admit that I am greedy to a fault and want more. I want to see Severus at the Weasley's. I want to see him get a new wand. I wonder if Ollivander will be surprised to see him come in. I want Minerva to see him, scream and then faint dead away. I want to see George bring his new girlfriend home, tatoos and all. Didn't the fortune telling cracker promise Molly she'd be buying a new hat for a wedding? I'm sure it didn't mean Hermione's. I want, well, more. ;-) And, if I haven't said it before, I am deeply grateful for every word you have typed.
