Reviews for The Forever Game

bloke seems a bit wishy washy but considering the fall out he must have been okay.

well, it worked out for the best... though i doubt the muggles would ever be able to replicate the world empire thing. no, you need continuous stability for that and while a democratic system might work, immortality, i think is the only to provide true stability, though only if the rulers them selves can change, adapt and grow.
i imagine har missed his sibs when they aged and died. that's one of the down sides of immortality, every he knows and loves, bar his mate, passes on. are nagini and nev immortal to or did they also pass?

at any rate, kudos for getting this done and done well.

heh, now there's commitment for you.
if V can get more of those in magimeri's then that's one hell of a leash on them. useful little device that. want to keep your magic? don't go against the bosses. I think the approach har suggested is a wise one. the almighty dollar rules in yanky land and if you have enough of them and spin it right, there's no reason why their candidate can't sweep the poles. they'll worry about the muggles after the mage side has been collected. are magimeri's democratic as well? that might be a bit to wiggle around once reelection comes up.
looking forward to seeing how the epilogues wrap things up. ^^

Oh, get distracted again definitely. :P after all, the magi meri's will still be there to be dealt with when they surface. :P

weather wise it'd changeable here. a few days of sun and then back to cloud and raininess.

sunscreen is a good thing. last time it was very warm, i got pinked enough to peal... not doing that again, that's for sure. i don't mind getting pinked enough to keep me warm at night, just not enough to peel and that's a delicate balance.

with that tapestry, it sounds abit like doing the borders of a puzzle. super tedious but if you want to see the full thing... still, at least you only have to sew the right bit rather than find it, and it will look epic once u r done, neh?

not decadent really, if you wanna see them and that's where they're playing, that's where you go. my sisters done that a few times but generally her bands i wanna watch are in QL and she crashes with mates up there over night.

no, long, long rad trips are okay when you have all the necessary supplies (and stamina) but i think you have to cross chunks of desert to get to Adelaide and that's dangerous, not to mention exhausting, for the uninitiated. Flying is a much smarter option.

Don't get disheartened by the occasional lack of reviews... it happens to all writers, even one as prolific as lomaneerian( probably spelled that wrong, ah well) don't lose heart. you're good. review wise, i try to review every chappie on stories that i'm watching, though there are a few i've read that aren't worth the time to review or are so disturbing i'd like to forget they exist. those i don't review. i also generally don't review if i'm waiting for a story to get out of a yukky bit. rather than string myself out over it, i'll generally tell the author i'm going to wait a few chappies until that bit is all done and read and review it in one fell swoop.
Oh, oh, guess what, guess WHAT! someone noticed that i review a lot, regularly and often and they're letting me pick a hp that they'll write for me. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! i've got five potentials to pick from and while they're all good ones a bit dark for my taste, one needs lots more work to make it viable but the other three rock. i can't wait to see them or one of them anyway, as more than bare bones. *bounces.

beading wise, i'm still sorting and doing small things but most of the beads are in separate boxes now, if not separate containers so at least i know where to start looking for something. i just need to clean off my various trays so i can use em. :P

and we found the date of a covered market. just need to finalize a few details and i'll be doing my first market stall. i'm excited about that too. ^^ There's also a lady in the tourist trap town next to us that sells stuff on commission and i'm going to approach her about selling some of my stuff there. i honestly want to see if other ppl think it looks good too. ^^

okay, now I'm completely curious about what they did to him... surely the yanks don't believe V and H would let them get him back so easily otherwise... or let them get him back alive. they did give an impressive simulation of a fight though.

you come up with the best ideas. impact and internal portkeys indeed. ^^

d'awww, V still isn't very good at the empathy thing but he's trying at least. After all, he only has eternity to practice at it. ^^ I wonder how they'll honour james? a statue? a public holiday? 5 mins of silence?
At least he's willing to do so... though i don't know how he translated mourning har's father into, har isn't satisfied and would like a third in their bed... that's almost Pinky ish thought processes. *starts humming pinky and the brain theme.

that explains the various siblings partnerings very neatly. just out of curiosity, wouldn't the spouses of har's highly placed siblings in currently unconquered countries feel them traitorous for passing info to their emperor brother and his mate? especially considering their expansionist ambitions?

does V still have a dim view of all MB's or was it just Mio he objected too? *reads a several paragraphs down. well that answers that Q. Still, what did mio do to draw V's ire? If Mio is the unspeakable head, where does leave Leil? ah, i think i get it. Mio is the head of the whole dept while Leil is head or R and D? yeah?

well, that answers that question? still, how do the keep the various creature bloods from running amok? sev died before wolvesbane was invented and dementors needs souls and/or happiness to keep them going so how do they manage them? vamps would be easy enough to set up blood banks for though, or blood bars.

Leil and Calla are the only ones with out partners to date yeah?

i can fully understand why battle would get their blood pumping and who's going to tell them they can't huh? they're the most powerful pair of wizards in the world. it's a bit like that old joke about where the 200 foot gorilla sleeps... anywhere he wants too. :P only their 'height' and threat potential is measured in magical ability.

magimericans are screwed. screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwed. shoulda kept their noses out. *shrugs.

ohhhh, i feel almost envious of that poor guy, quite a show before dying, modification, whatever. :P I agree with them about their reluctant witness though. no point dragging him off and jumping through legal hooks that get nothing accomplished. i look forward to learning his fate later... mwhahahaha.

of course they have a couple of things they work on separately, even the best of partnerships need some space from each other at times. something that is theirs alone.

    anywho, laters.

what happened to your answer thread? is it inaccessible or something... or do you just prefer the more direct touch?

well, i suppose if you're immortal you need a hobby and collecting countries is at least an attention consuming one. what will they do when they have them all though? i assume they rule both muggle and magical? or do they leave the muggle infrastructure alone if it's effective and rule from the shadows?

I'm glad nev got another chance at life. his 'human' one sucked balls. a snakes existence is far less complicated and he already knows he'll be well cared for, valued and his home comes complete with companionship. does this mean he and nagini's snakelings have the potential for immortality? :P

well, damn, i always knew a dark fred and george would be scary but magical mafia? I could easily see that. *shudders.
you need a certain amount of spite to enjoy pranking people and that could easily expand to something darker. did they ever start their prank store, or junked that idea and went with the wizarding underworld instead?

speaking of which, this is only the second ff i've come across to use that idea so kudos.

btw, i think i spotted a typo. queue (line of ppl) instead of cue (signal to begin)

i'm gathering har and voldi don't much care how they get the countries, just that they do, neh? i just hope fred n george left enough of the populous to actually rule. >>

Super cute bonus material. I thoroughly enjoy this. I actually enjoy reading the background info more. That only a night has gone by in the current plot/sex is kind of disorienting.

You know i love your story and mostly when i read it i don't have time to pay a review cause I'm baking I'm my kitchen but i like what you didwith Neville. It reminds me of a story on ffn called 'A snake like Voldemort' I believe. I would love to see the annoying American wizards but down even though I'm American i can see where we are being a ass in the story. Please update soon love Darkness

    * shakes my head at luc. sloppy x 3 luc. couldn't happen to a more deserving bloke. so, this mean that draco and cissa are back to black, or is draco like a vassal or something? poor lils, even friends and family don't make up for the loss of your beloved. and she must have loved him madly to go through 16? pregnancies. :P she's got serious guts and strength to be able to go on.
not getting family time = har rage on? glad v doesn't just let that slide.

neh, as a potter herself, wouldn't Celli have had a bodyguard too? speaking of which, where were James? I guess parenting instinct is too strong and overrules lording instincts. lord instincts would say 'stand back and let the girl take the hit', parenting instincts say 'hell no! you will NOT touch my child!"
i'm interested to know what became of nev. being the 'icon of the light' is never what it's cracked up to be especially with pedo dumbles at the helm.
i'm betting luc had his aristocratic paw in james' murder and when that comes out there'll be hell to pay. did draco stay dating his potter girl?
Celli really does have her job cut out for her, but they wouldn't keep her at it if she didn't do it well, sibling or not.
is Lil's still about? james death would have hit her like a bludgeon to the gut.

well, ick! dumbles as a pedo, some how that doesn't surprise me. Guy obviously doesn't know how to treat a mate. raping a child at five... how the hells did nev survive? a kids body isn't made to withstand that sort of wear and tear. How could dumbles NOT tell that nev wasn't enjoying it or did he just not care? Worse, if V hadn't moved when he did, that could've been har. i assume he had nev's parents 'under control' either that or the kid was told he was a liar or worse yet, dumbles just silenced him. I suddenly have overwhelming sympathy for nev. Bet the papers would love that one.

And V *smacks him over the head. getting distracted like that after all the work he put into har, he was just prepared to junk him?!
still, at least they've been able to weather the difficulties as they've celebrated har's centennial. ^^
