this just keeps getting better and better... I didn't see it till you pointed it out... Dumbledore put on that damned ring because he recognized it as a Hallow.. and he was greedy ;wanted it. the jerk deserved what it gave him in the end then.
The Drakes are great... magical, powerful, new magic, but not super powerful.
I love Kretcher in this... I hope he stays loyal to Harry.
I hope Severus survives your story I hated that he died in Deathly Hallows- Remus too. It seemed to me that Rowling deliberately left Harry with NO connection to his parents at all... a complete orphan. I despised her hallows and refuse to accept that ending -- in my mind I am constantly rewriting it to suit me.
