Well, I was pretty much in the groove with the fic until the latest chapter. Surprise, the United Kingdom is a foreign country. We don't graduate from high school, it's secondary school(and not sure Hogwarts uses). Thus no high school rings. Nothing like that over here. No graduation ceremonies, either. The cap and gown is university only. Military-wise, the UK does allow people 16 1/2 to join (with parental permission), but they aren't allowed to be deployed overseas. (two years in Iraq, and somehow nobody knows?)

Although the story Snarry portion is interesting the rest of it does leave one a bit confused. Just how did Harry get away from the wizarding world long enough to join the military, go through bootcamp, officers training, and then be shipped out of the country to fight, get wounded and discharged, let alone have time to form a what appears to have been a deep friendship with Daniel? This does not even cover his getting his muggle education.

While yes he could have lied about his age to join the military early (although they do require birth certificates) there was no mention of time turners or a spell that sent him back in order to achieve all of this while still attending Hogwarts, fight Voldemort, and spending summers slaving at his relatives as in canon timeline. FYI, I think this was what the other review was asking.

Just why does no one ever tell the headmaster to knock before entering a private room? Not that I can't see a gentleman raised during the Victorian era of ever doing something so rude.

YAY!!! Severus using the L word with Harry... even if it was just him saying you could grow to love him! Thanks so much for the new chapter, can't wait for the next update!

ok, don't get me wrong, i like the story but....what kind of timeline and age are we talking about for harry for all of this? in chapter 3 he went to gringotts and we know he is at least 18 because lucius said he claimed his in heritance at 18 with out having to do anything. in 6.5. he was going back to hogwarts for his final year (i'm assuming), ok cool that still pretty much falls in line with things. BUT now in the last chapter we find out that harry has a high school diploma and class ring... so when did he go to a muggle high school and graduate if he was at hogwarts as well as defeating voldermort? and he has dogtags from serving in the queens army in iraq for two years to be discharged after an injury??? i know this is fiction and i know it is a story filled with magic etc... but i hope you are going to fill in all these gaps that have been created by this last chapter. i'm not trying to be critical and mean no offense, i just hope that there is clarification as the story goes on.

Please update chapter 14 soon, I really like this story.

I want to read more of this so bad I love seeing the relationship from both sides, and we should be able to see the relationship grow. Please update soon

im think someone used the map because the map gives pass words i hope that its none of the snakes and way love happy to see a update
