Severus reached his orgasm but at the moment Moria and him were ripped apart and thrown in opposite directions across the clearing, but some unseen magnetic force. Moria had been thrown on to the soft grass floor of the clearing, but Severus had been thrown hard against one of the surrounding trees and was lying in a crumpled heap at it's base. As Moria's head had hit the floor she had passed out. She seemed to fall into a strange sleep where all she could see was images of Severus. Her mind became filled with worry and love for this young man she had only just met. Her mind felt hazy and oppressed like there was a storm brewing inside it, she didn't feel that her thoughts were her own. The idea that she should feel sympathetic feelings towards another creature was the strangest part of this unconscious state. Moria was a creature of Fire, she was made to only feel emotions that obeyed Fire like passion or anger.
When Moria eventually opened her eyes she felt like she had been asleep for a life time. In reality only a couple of hours had passed, it was now dark in the forest. Moria could not see anything but she could hear the sounds of the forest. The trees were whispering in the light breeze and there was the low russle of leaves where creatures were restless or hunting. Moria thought she could hear a man's voice whispering along with the trees but she dismissed it from her trouble mind.
Moria's dream had not left her head and she was soon calling out softly for Severus. The clearing was still except for Moria's low husky voice calling for him. As she called, Moria slowly began to walk around the dark clearing as her eyes adjusted to the dark. As the light returned to Mo's eyes she caught sight of where Severus's body lay. It lay under an old twisted tree, that loomed over his silent body. Moria ran quickly on her light feet to Severus's side. She bent over him and pleaded into his ear;
'Severus? Can you hear me?' The battered body remained silent 'Please answer me.' Moria grabbed Severus's arms and shook his limp body. Mo looked desperately around her looking for some kind of help, but there was none. 'Please don't do this to me, Severus.' Moria's voice shook with emotion as a few virgin tears rolled down her pale face. Moria rolled Severus's unresponding body over onto his back and when his face was revealed in the moonlight, she wept more deeply into her hands. She felt alone and frightened. The forest seemed to be whispering about her and she was sure that that mysterious voice of a man was floating in the air.
Moria sat staring at Severus through her tears for ages. She seemed untouched by the increasingly cruel wind that whipped her naked body and threw her hair over her face, sticking to her tear soaked cheeks. Moria was also unaware of the presence behind her, it was only when his deep voice broke the silence that Moria was torn from her grieving solitude;
'Hello Moria.' Moria reconized the voice as the one she had heard chanting on the wind. She could feel his shadow creeping over her as he walked towards her, 'Moria, I am your Master, do not be afraid of me. Stand up and turn to me.' Moria had heard of her Master, he was the man that a group of Veelas had given their souls to centuries ago so that they could become more powerful over wizards that the Veelas. It was rumour that he only ever seeked counsel with a Jaliea if he had an important task for them. Moria could not think why she should be choosen from all of the other creatures of Fire. Moria stood and wiped away her tears and turned round to face her Master. He was a wizard of normal height and build, he did not look like a great Fire demon or anything. He was an attractive young wizard, like any other human except for his eyes. They were like two burning rubies that drew Moria in to his world of Fire. She could feel her soul fill with passion but just as soon as it entered it drained out again.
'Moria, you have fallen in love. Your senses are softened and your Fire has been watered by your tears. You will not survive without this young man, I can see that.' The Master was motioning towards Severus's still form. 'He is dead Moria.' Mo looked from Severus to the Master with shock and grief written all over her face. Her heart was slowly and silently breaking inside her, she could feel every piece break and send shudders through her body.
The Master could see the state of Moria's heart as he looked into her soul. His plan was going just as he wanted it to go. His spell of love had worked and how in this state, Moria was putty in his hands.
'Moria, please don't cry because I can offer you his life back.' This ran through Moria's body like a flight of heavenly horses. She could feel the tingle of their white hoofs down her spine;
'His life? You could give his life back to him?'
'Yes, I have the power to breath life back into his bones.' He omitted the fact that Severus's memories of that blissful night would not return with his life. He would not reconize or dream of Moria ever again. 'I can do that, but on one condition...'
'What is that? What ever it is, I will do it without hesitation.' Moria had thrown herself on her knees before her Master.
'You will go to Hogwarts as a pupil when the new year begins this winter.'
'Be at school with Severus, oh how wonderf-,'
'Be quiet, let me finish. When you are there you will contact my Tom Riddle. He will be starting Hogwarts in winter too and he will need you to work for him.'
'What kind of work?'
'He will only be a student at first but in time he will become great in his field. He will be the most powerful wizard of his time, but he needs your help to do that. Will you do that?'
'Master, I would do anything for Severus' Moria rose from the floor, her knees damp with the already settling dew. 'Do what you must to save him.'
'Aslong as you are sure, this is what you want? There is no going back.' Moria just nodded. Inside she had the smallest sliver of doubt but she was too overcome by her emotions for Severus to pursue her doubt further. Moria closed her eyes and suddenly her voice was filled with evil thoughts and fire once again burned in her soul and all feelings for Severus were gone. When she next opened her eyes she was standing on Platform Nine Three-Quarters wearing a Hogwarts robes. The Master had kept her asleep until it was time for her to start Hogwarts and during that time he had fed information into her subconsious brain, so when she saw a young boy she knew who he was and what she had to do.
