Sitting on his bed, back in his room after he left Sirius and Lucius, Harry was holding onto the dragon, which was curled up on his chest, roaring softly, puffing warm smoke in his ear, staring at the final package Lucius had given him. As yet it hadn't been fully unwrapped. It was still in the plain packaging with the tear on the top, nothing more. The issue right now was coming from his end.
He wanted this more than anything in the world, he really did. Taking that step, though, was something so hard. The mere thought of opening the package then putting one on was something that had his heart pounding and him sweating. As he was no fool, he realized taking that step and making fantasy a reality meant there was probably no going back. Add on the fact that there was some serious embarrassment about even wanting to do it, something that would be perceived as so wrong or sick by a great many that didn't understand the whole concept, that he was struggling with the decision. He wanted it, though, badly. Wanting to go there as he had fantasized about so much. Just taking that step, one further than he already had, was so much easier said than done.
Shutting his eyes, he clung to the dragon and tried to calm down. As he did that, though, he reminded himself that he was clinging to a stuffed dragon that had been given to him by the person that bought the nappies. He had held it in front of both of his daddies and neither were bothered by it. In fact, he found it to be something quite soothing that helped alleviate tension. It was also something, well, not exactly the same thing, but a toy similar to one that he had wanted since he was a child. This other part wasn't much worse than that, really. If he could do one, he could do the other.
Reaching out with a shaking hand, he picked up the package, set it on his lap and tore the wrapping off with, clinging to the dragon with the other. Panting heavily as he tossed the wrapping away, trembling slightly, he looked over the package, reading the description of what it contained then the directions on how to use them. From the simple illustrations, they were similar to the Muggle incontinence products for adults. Only difference was that they had charms on them to make them look like normal y-fronts. They also had a charm that made it to where any tell-tale crinkling sounds wouldn't be heard. Reading on, in print smaller than the rest, something obviously designed for people with his 'kink' in mind, there were ways to spell them so they felt bulky, like the real thing, and to allow certain people to see what they really were.
Stopping, rubbing a shaking hand over his now sweat-beaded brow, he shut his eyes again, clinging to the dragon tighter. Oh, he wanted this, badly! He wanted to take one out, look at it then put it on before sliding his jeans back on. More than anything, he wanted to start wearing these rather than his normal y-fronts. It was just that taking that step was scary.
After several minutes of warring with himself, he reached out and tore the package open, fumbling around inside and pulling one out though keeping his eyes closed as he did. With a trembling hand, he felt it, unable to look yet. Feeling it, hearing how it sounded, he was hard. Really hard. And the want to put it on was there. In fact, it was almost driving him now, pushing him to take the step he was still reluctant to do.
Letting out a shaky breath, he opened his eyes and looked at it. As expected, it looked just like the illustrations on the box; an oversized baby's nappy. Shutting his eyes again, he shook harder, struggling with what he wanted to do versus knowing this was something he would never back away from if he did. Sighing, burying his face in the stuffed dragon's shoulder, he held the nappy in a death grip, trying hard to decide what to do. Like most things in his life, he was alone in this big decision. He had to make it himself and couldn't ask for advice. No, he was alone in this and had to work with it himself. Though Sirius would probably let him lay all his fears out for him, to talk it out, he wouldn't do that. This decision was one only he could make. He already knew what he wanted to do; it was just making the final choice.
Opening his eyes once more, he looked at what he was holding then sighed softly. For once, he was going to rush in like Ron and Hermione did and do what he wanted without thinking about the consequences of his actions or what it could lead to.
Standing quickly, the package the nappy came in tumbling to the floor, tucking the nappy under his arm, clinging to the dragon, he undid his jeans with an unsteady hand. Fumbling, he managed to get the zipper down then wiggled out of them and his y-fronts. Quickly, before he could rethink what he was going to do, he put the nappy on.
The second it wrapped around him, clinging to his skin, he let out a shaky groan. Oh, it felt amazing! Better than he thought it ever would. The way it wrapped around him and clung to his cock and balls made his flesh throb. Not only that, but there was a comforting sensation that came from it. That he couldn't explain, but it was there.
Snatching his jeans off the floor, he tugged them back on, managing to get them zipped and buttoned with one hand. Quickly, just in case, he tucked the package in his school trunk in the concealed compartment. Flopping onto the bed, he curled up with the dragon, shutting his eyes. Feeling the bulk from the nappy between his legs and how it clung to him, he groaned, feeling his cock throb. Now, well, he was sure, with what he was feeling, he didn't want to go back now that he had taken this step.
Scooting up to the head of the bed, still holding the dragon that seemed to be clinging to him, he curled up, head resting on the pillow, letting his eyes slide shut. For now, he was just going to lay here and feel, nothing more. Later he would get up and work on charming them the way the instructions said. For now, he wanted to calm down and deal with the step he just took.
Snuggling the dragon tightly, gripping onto it, he buried his nose in the soft nap of the 'fur' and kept his eyes shut. Heart still hammering, he concentrated on breathing and what he was feeling. Before long, he actually slipped into a doze as the adrenaline rush wore off.
Sitting there that night, Sirius was just talking with Harry while they waited for Lucius to join the conversation. Lucius, because he was busy, would be awhile yet. That was fine. He liked talking to his godson. It also helped to alleviate stress before they pressed into other areas. No, this was good. Harry, he assumed, was still uptight over what had gone on earlier in the day, so this would give him time to cool down, relax and not get overly stressed.
Looking at his godson, he grinned at the dragon. The stuffed animal was clinging to Harry, nuzzling him with his head and blowing smoke in his ear. Harry, despite how apprehensive he was earlier in the day, actually kept either touching or holding the creature. Lucius had done well when it came to getting the stuffed animal. Nor was it something that he would have thought to grab. Hell, he hadn’t even considered it! That shored up the fact that going to Lucius for help rather than muddling through on his own with some of this was the right thing to do. He would also keep it in mind.
After leaving Harry for the day, once he got home, Lucius had sent him a message in that book. He said he was going to use it to communicate when it came to some areas they needed to get together on. That was fine with Sirius. The more help he had with some of this, the better he was going to be. He could easily work with Harry, well, most times, depending on what it was, but help with others would be needed. Lucius told him he thought that though they should push some things, a period of not doing so might be wise. Sirius was someone the young man was comfortable with and could go there, Lucius didn't think the same would apply to him. So, like tonight, though Lucius admitted he wanted to push for something sexual, he was going to spend most of it trying to just talk to Harry. He did say that if it worked out the other way, and something sexual did take place, that was fine. However, he did tell him that he thought that Harry might be on the edge a little with all that was done and discussed. Pushing for anything sexual might not be a good idea. Talking about some would be fine, but going there? No, he didn't think they should. That Sirius could appreciate. Harry, from the look of things, was fairly relaxed, but he had seen the reaction earlier in the day. Going further might not be a good idea. This was, after all, a delicate dance anyway and stressful on his godson, making it worse by going too fast might be a bad idea and cause big problems they wouldn't know about or couldn't deal with.
Looking at Harry, he grinned again. “You like Elliot, I take it?” He asked softly.
A sheepish look on his face, Harry nodded then said, “Yeah, I do. It's rather like having a pet of some kind, though I know he's not real. Besides, it feels good.” That he shrugged at, sure Sirius would get what he was going for there.
“I get it, Harry, nothing to worry about,” Sirius said, gently. “You don't have many close to you, at all. Me? Well, I can't be there all the time. This works for that part of it. I don't see anything wrong with it, honestly. Don't worry about it. He can stay with you all the time.”
Looking at the mirror, Harry nodded, smiling a little.
Keeping an eye on Harry, Sirius looked him up and down a bit. Right now, Harry was shirtless, something understandable as it was a warm night, with just a pair of sweats on. He couldn't, honestly, tell if he was wearing the nappy or not because of how baggy the sweats were. With that, he was slightly leery of asking, not sure with as much stress that came about from having them given to him if it was a good idea or not. On the other hand, he thought it might be better if he asked rather than Lucius. After all, Harry was far more comfortable with him and might take it better if it was done without Lucius.
Not sure how to ask, really, he launched in with something else, deciding to work towards that direction, rather than dive straight in. “I used that book Lucius charmed today when I got home. It works just how he said,” he told Harry.
“It's a brilliant idea, that's for sure,” Harry told him, looking up.
“It is. He's good at that shite,” Sirius nodded. Then, quickly, he gave a little rundown of what Lucius had said so that Harry knew they weren't keeping secrets from him.
Looking at the mirror, Harry nodded slowly then said, honestly, “Yeah, I like that idea a little better. You, I'm used to by now. I can deal a bit better with that. I'm not with him yet. Really, I think I'd do better getting to know him some more. After all, some of our meetings in the past weren't the best.”
“I think, somewhere, I realized that, but it didn't quite click when it comes to some of what we're planning,” Sirius admitted. “Well, you know, Lucius and I have been going on for quite some time now. The trust is there on my end, always has been because he has proven it to me. That makes it a little hard for me to remember it's not there for you. It's going to have to be one of those things you remind me about once in a while, Harry, so I don't push you too far.”
“I'll remember that,” Harry told him, nodding. “If you're good with him and trust him, I’m leaning there. I just—part's of it are hard for me, alright? I don't trust many and don't let people close.”
“I keep forgetting that part as well,” Sirius admitted. “Just tell me. You always have the right to say no, Harry, to anything. Remember that. If we push somewhere you aren't comfortable with, tell us. If it goes too fast, tell us. All of this is going to take time to work out and mistakes will be made, by all three of us.”
“I will,” Harry told him firmly.
“Right now, I think there might be some things you will be more comfortable talking with me about, aren't there?”
Looking down, petting Elliot, Harry gave the barest of nods then said a soft, “Yeah, there are. I mean, I get what's going on and accepted it. Really, I like it and the whole idea. It's just hard right now with some of it, you know?”
“I figured,” Sirius told him gently. Thinking it over, harkening back to something Lucius said earlier in the park, he suggested, “How about this--that book—when we talk, keep it close by. That way if you have problems, even with me, you can write it out. Think that might make it a little easier on you? Some of this, especially with what comes with the whole area, might be hard to say aloud.”
Pondering that, Harry told him, slowly, “That might work. I mean--” trailing off, he looked down. Thinking it over, he then pressed on, “Some I’m having a little bit of a problem accepting on my end. Not anything to do with you two, just my end and dealing with what comes from it. I don't think I can say some of what it is. Writing I might be able to do.”
“I thought there might be some bits here and there that were causing you stress. This might work for that,” Sirius told him, making a mental note to pass that along to Lucius as well. Pressing on, he inquired, “Any of those parts you want to talk about? Or it is just something you have to hash out on your own?”
“It's my end and something I have to work with myself,” Harry shook his head, looking at the mirror. “I've got a handle on most of it, no worries there, it's just a little of a struggle is all.” Chuckling a little, he snorted, “More like the wants are warring with the logical bits of the brain and making deciding on some things a little tough. Nothing more.”
Most of that was lost on Sirius, he would admit that to himself. However, he knew that his godson was smart. Though Harry wasn't like Hermione and showed it off, he was quite intelligent. There was also the fact that Harry was one of those beings like Snape in that he was constantly alert and one that was fully in charge of himself at all times, having to be because of what he dealt with. A large chunk of what they were doing related to his godson giving up control then letting him and Lucius take over. That, more than anything, had to be hard. He was also dead certain that Harry was well aware of what taking the steps he was could mean for him and the ramifications it would have all his life. He was certain that was where Harry was coming from.
“I get it,” Sirius told him softly. “I just want you to remember something, Harry. Despite the fact that you're the one most would see as the 'bottom' in this whole relationship, with Lucius and I being in charge, that's not the case. It comes down to something very simple; you're the one with all the power here. You're the one that dictates how this goes, what you can and can't do, then if it stops completely. You are, not us. We follow your lead. Of course, though part of it is to push certain parts and go places with what we want done, you have the final say so. Not us. We follow what you want in that area. Keep that in mind.”
Taking that in, Harry looked at Sirius then said, “Alright, makes sense.”
“Remember that, Harry. Don't be afraid to say no if you can't or don't think you are ready. We're not going to push it if you can't. However, on the other hand, to get comfortable with some of it, you're going to have to push it slightly from your end. Like you did today. We can work with that part, though, like writing it down. Just don't be afraid to voice you're having problems with something or getting parts across to us. There are plenty of ways to deal with it.” Sirius imparted gently.
Nodding, Harry said nothing. Really, most of what he read was geared for the sexual arousal of the whole scenario, not the 'real' aspects of it. The whole 'scene' was more complicated than just a story he found arousing. Like the part earlier in wanting to do something but having issues with the reality of it. That he hadn't thought about going in. It made sense, no doubt there, but it wasn't a part he fully comprehended. Now he did and there were some problems. He would deal with it though. The want for this was pushing him to do so. This he wanted and craved so he would deal then press on.
Waiting a couple minutes, looking at Harry, Sirius was pleased with what he saw. He was sure there were problems on that end for several areas, but that Harry would work it out for himself. After all, he wasn't inside his godson's mind to know just what was there and had to be dealt with. So, he would take it slow and let Harry deal with whatever was there. Saying his godson's name softly, he waited for Harry to look at him then said, gently, “I have a question for you. Just—if you can't say it nod or shake your head. When I get the answer, we'll work with it from there. Can you do that?”
Nodding, Harry waited to see what the topic was.
Stopping, trying to think how to word this the best way without making it worse than what could come of it, he slowly asked, “That last package Lucius gave you today? Are you using them?” He thought, maybe, since he didn't say the actual name for them, Harry might take it better and be able to answer. He hoped so anyway. It was, after all, something his godson apparently had real issues with in the war between wanting it and embarrassment.
Flushing slightly, lowering his eyes, Harry put a hand on Elliot and stroked his back. Really, he had anticipated that question at some point tonight, but was still embarrassed to 'talk' about it. However, he was going to be honest and just nodded, not sure he could say anything if he tried.
“Alright,” Sirius told him gently. “That's all I wanted to know, nothing more. We won't go into the rest other than me saying its fine. It's something you want and everyone involved in this can accept it. Don't worry about it. That part comes with the whole thing and is nothing to worry about.” Stopping, figuring that might have something to do with what his godson mentioned before, he decided to back off and move on to something else. Let Harry get used to the change his own way then they would revisit later.
Settling back, leaning against the headboard of his bed, Sirius changed topics to something unrelated and began to talk about that, gossiping about some things he heard about a few beings.
Though still flushed slightly, clinging to the dragon, Harry looked back at the mirror and began to ask about some of what Sirius was bringing up. It would take time, he knew that, so he was going to muddle through with it then keep going.
About an hour later, Lucius was to join them. Though Harry had to be walked through how to add the third party to the mirror, it was easy enough that he got it on the first try. Sprawled on his bed, petting Elliot, he was listening to Lucius cover some things that had gone on at the Ministry. No, most of them didn't relate to him, but they were things that were worth knowing, even if you couldn't use them.
After they had been talking for about a half an hour, as the conversation had moved in the direction of the relationship between Sirius and Lucius, Sirius' head came up. Muttering a soft, 'shite', he told them to wait a minute and piled off the bed then vanished. Coming back a minute or so later, he said, “You two keep talking. We've got like a mini-Order meeting about to happen. I'll be back as quick as I can.” Seeing the two nod, he obscured the image on the mirror so no one could see what it really did if they came into his room and shrunk it back down, before walking out to join the meeting, muttering under his breath while he did.
As this had happened a couple times since they started talking, Harry wasn't bothered by it, knowing Sirius would get back when he could. Scrolling through some of the websites on his computer, he glanced at Lucius in the mirror. The man was fairly relaxed, from the look of it, lounging in a chair in his silk pajamas, sipping a drink. However, he wasn't sure how to start a conversation with him either so he was going to wait for it to happen from the other end then go with it.
Sipping his brandy, Lucius then set the snifter aside and looked at the young man sprawled on his bed. Honestly, though not anticipating time by himself with Harry, he thought it was something that might do both of them good. After all, they hadn't had a chance to talk alone yet. That was going to be needed for things to progress and the trust needed for such a relationship to build. Even once Harry was relocated to Grimmauld Place, the time together was going to be limited. So, one needed to take opportunities as they presented and work with them. Seeing the younger man playing with what he knew was the computer, he asked, tone amused, “Looking up more stories?”
Grinning, Harry said, “Yeah. Actually books right now, though. One of the sites added a bunch today so looking through those. Lovecraft is a favorite of mine and they uploaded some of his, so I’m snatching those.”
HP Lovecraft was someone he knew about so Lucius nodded, understanding what Harry was talking about. Figuring that was as good of a time as any to launch into getting more familiar with each other, he told Harry, “How about we try to get to know one another. I know past meetings have not been favorable with the two of us. Your relationship with Draco is also not one that anyone would deem good. So, the situation isn't the best. What do you say we talk over some issues and see what we can work on, hm?”
After starting a download, Harry put the computer aside the looked at the mirror nodding. “Alright. Where do you want to start?”
Shifting around to get comfortable, Lucius tried to think then imparted, tone distracted, “Let's start with the worst scenario and move on from there; the whole mess with the Chamber.”
Sighing, Harry rubbed his eyes, but nodded. That one—it still gave him nightmares. It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it was bad enough. “That diary—why did you put it in Ginny's cauldron? It was dangerous!”
Liking that the young man went right to the heart of the matter, Lucius said, “I admit I did it on purpose. However, the reasoning isn't what people thought. I did not do so to cause problems for Arthur. That was never my intent.”
As that's the only reason he heard for it being done, Harry looked at the mirror then asked, “Why did you then?”
“You know where Arthur works in the Ministry, do you not?” Seeing Harry nod, he pressed on, “That diary would be considered a Muggle artifact. I knew exactly what that thing was because the Dark Lord gave it to me to protect. The evil and malevolence that oozed from a mere schoolboy's object was something telling to me. Nor did I want it around. Especially since my son was at the age where he was curious about so much. It was my thought that Arthur or Molly would take reasonable precautions when purchasing school supplies for their children then, because they bought them used, make sure they were checked over. That is standard, even with new ones. I do that with all Draco's things as one never knows what someone else may have done to it. Though used items, even books, are checked at shops for curses and whatnot, it's always best to ensure you check them yourself before allowing your children around them. Staff can be harried and busy thus not doing as good of a job as they might. I assumed that the Weasley’s would do the same. Arthur would know something was off with that diary by just feeling the magic from it then do something about it. He didn't. Instead, it got into the school and the havoc that came from that was not something I wanted. I assure you, Harry, if I wanted to cause issues for Arthur, I have better ways of going about it than planting an object like that in his daughter's cauldron!”
Looking at Lucius, Harry thought that over. It made sense, really it did. The Weasley's bought everything used. With things like cauldrons, you would need to check them to ensure they were properly cleaned and nothing harmful was in them. Books could easily contain curses, as he knew. They should have checked. Nodding slowly, he then said, “I get that. Did you know they hadn't found the diary?”
“No,” Lucius said with a shake of his head. “It wasn't until events at the school started transpiring that I knew. By then I was caught in a conundrum as to what to do. I assumed the diary had caused it, however, I didn't know exactly what it could do. I had no way of knowing the girl could end up possessed! If I had, I would have gotten with Severus to let him know so he could do something.”
“Alright,” Harry said slowly, remembering the events. “What about Dobby, though? His whole bit with warning me not to go to Hogwarts and causing all kinds of problems?”
“Dobby--” Lucius started then sighed and rubbed his eyes. “Dobby is odd. He was always a troublesome elf with issues. I often wondered if he didn't have some kind of disorder that made him slightly more deranged than the rest. What Dobby did, he did of his own volition. I had no hand in that. None. I didn't even know that's what he was doing or I would have put a stop to it. That was not my doing, none of it.”
Taking that in, Harry nodded, “Alright. I get it.” Looking back at the mirror, he didn't know what else to ask on the topic.
“I assure you, Harry, nothing that I've done was meant to cause problems for you. None of it. Same with many other things. Draco—I do admit he is spoiled and that we are the cause of it. Narcissa miscarried seven times before Draco came. Even he was born prematurely. We didn't think he would make it nor was there going to be another chance. Since then, well, we've gone overboard. Between that and having to keep up appearances, we've made some situations worse. I will also admit to being told by Severus that the issues with you and Draco are from my son's part. I'm trying to work with that to get him to back off without telling him what is going on with your end. The issue is jealousy over your relationship with Severus. I admit it. I believe he will not be prone to such issues once school starts once more and should leave you alone.”
Liking that, though Draco wasn't a big problem he couldn't handle, Harry nodded. “I get it. 'Cause, really, all I want is to be left alone. Nothing more.”
“And I will make that clear,” Lucius told him with a firm nod. Looking intently at the younger man, he said, though tone firm, it was soft as well, “Once again, I want to assure you that I never tried to cause issues for you, Harry. From the time of Sirius' arrest, when I could get a message to him or get one from that direction, the first thing he always asked about was you. First, it was where you were. I couldn't find you to check. Dumbledore made certain you were hidden. Nor could I find a way to ferret out what family you were placed with. If I had found you and knew the circumstances of where you were living, I would have done something, though I don't know what. However, it would have been to get you out of there and safe. That I give you my word on. Once school started, I did the best I could to keep Sirius abreast of what was happening with you. Again, it's things I didn't know about that were problems for you. I just want that clear with you.”
Looking into the mirror, Harry thought it over then nodded. “I get it. 'Cause, well, in the graveyard last year—you didn't want to be there, I knew that.”
“I didn't,” Lucius sighed, looking sour and rubbing his eyes. “If I hadn't shown, the Dark Lord would have found me then both Narcissa and Draco would be in danger. I couldn't risk that. This way, though I don't like it, keeps them safe. At least until I can find a way out of this mess. Nor could I help you, something I wanted to.”
“There was nothing you could do,” Harry sighed, shaking his head.
“The Dark Lord is a madman, I know this. I knew it during the last war, but had little choice. It's not a situation I want to be in, but I assume Sirius told you about that.” Seeing the young man nod, he told him, “I wish there was a way to assist you more than I am, Harry, there just isn't. Fudge expects my stance, as does the Dark Lord because it furthers whatever plans he has. The Prophet, too, would think it odd if I tried to get them to back off.”
As Sirius had gone over this with him, Harry understood it and said nothing. Thinking, he asked, tone distracted, looking down, “If, say, you found out some information on a reporter, could you use it to get them to back off? Something that would get them in real trouble with the Ministry?”
Looking at the young man, brow furrowed, Lucius confirmed, “I could, yes. However, I have nothing like that.”
Grinning a bit, looking at the mirror while he stroked Elliot's back, Harry told him, “I do!”
“You do?” Lucius asked, eyebrow arched. “Who is it and how do you know?”
“Old Rita herself,” Harry told him, grinning bigger. “Hermione caught her last year. She's an unregistered animagus, a beetle.” Quickly, he gave Lucius the rundown of what happened and then what he knew about it.
Listening, starting to smirk, Lucius nodded, “Oh, yes! I can, indeed, use this! I'll do what I can with it, but I can't guarantee how much I'll manage. If nothing else, it may help us down the road.” That pleased him a great deal. “I will do what I can with it to see what I can get backed off of you. If nothing else, I know some people I can feed the information to that will assist. Yes, this is good.”
Pleased with himself, Harry nodded.
“Do you have any more questions for me? Or something you want to know about? I know Sirius told me he explained a great deal to you, but I’m not certain what he covered and what he didn't.”
Thinking it over, Harry shook his head, “I can't think of anything right now. The chamber bit was the big one.”
“Alright. Now, on these kinds of issues, I would ask if there is something you think of or wish to discuss, ask me. I'll explain it fully from my end. If we aren't talking like this, send me a message with the book and I'll answer when I get time. Then you can question all you like. I won't hide anything from you if you ask, Harry. In fact, I would rather discuss it with you and talk it out than have you wonder,” Lucius told him softly.
Liking that, Harry agreed. “I can do that.”
Relaxing again, taking another sip of his drink, Lucius observed the young man, smirking slightly. The dragon was a big hit, apparently. It was also apparent what Harry wanted him for. Like most magical toys, Elliot was one that, though charmed to act certain ways, adjusted slightly to the person that had him. For a child that wanted a playmate, the toy became that. When it came to one that wanted comfort, it provided that. Ones that wanted a companion, it provided that. For Harry, it appeared he wanted the toy to comfort him and to hold. The dragon was already adjusting to that want, clinging to him and snuggling. Softly, not wanting to make the young man wary or uptight, he said, “You enjoy Elliot. That's fine. I'm glad I thought of picking one up for you.” It wasn't something he had thought of going in, but saw it in the shop and bought it on impulse. It was, apparently, a good one.
As he wasn't as comfortable with Lucius as Sirius, Harry nodded, saying nothing.
Keeping his tone lowered and soft, Lucius told him gently, “Though there are things I would like to do with you, I won't when we are alone for a time. I believe it's best that Sirius is around the first few jaunts into such adventures. The same with talks about more intimate things. That will put your more at ease with me. It's not my wish to push you too far, too quickly though the want may be there. Trust is needed for all of this to work. That needs built first. With Sirius you have that. I'm not that way. I understand why and accept it. However, I would like to ask that tomorrow sometime, I be allowed to send you a message via that book about more personal areas. From my end, it's more along the lines of defining some things you may wish to pursue or are interested in. It's a safe way to do so, I believe. Sirius has filled me in on some of what I would call hard limits with you, the more rough end you said you can't. For my own personal information, I would like to clarify some things or know what I’m working with. Do you think you can do that? I will, of course, ensure that Sirius knows I am doing so and what is said, like always.”
Looking down, Harry thought that over. Honestly? He didn't see a problem there. Writing it out and answering questions that way was something he could handle. Nodding slowly, he said, “I can do that, no problem.”
“I'll message when able then. Take your time responding and go at your pace. That I have no issue with that. However, there is one thing I do want set in stone tonight. It's nothing bad or embarrassing, I assure you.” Seeing the young man nod, he pressed on, “With your reading, I'm assuming you know all of this is a subset of D/s, correct?” Again, Harry nodded so he said, “As such, I want you to think of a word that you will use if we venture somewhere you can't handle or are pushing too far. It's called a safe word and I'm sure you've heard of it.”
As he had, Harry said, “Purple. I think that's good.”
“I will remember that and will pass along to Sirius. Never be afraid to use it, Harry, ever. We won't get angry with you. It will stop what's happening, we'll back off then discuss what the issue is. Cool down time will be needed then we move on. It will always be honored, always.” Lucius told him firmly.
Liking that, Harry said, “Alright, got it. Purple works and I'll remember it.”
“Good,” Lucius told him. Deciding that was enough there, he began to ask Harry about some of his other interests to get a feel for his personality. Though, as of now, he could understand much of what had been said to him about the fears of what this young man could become, he was also seeing there was plenty of hope here. Harry was amiable enough if you weren't playing games with him. He was also willing to listen to you explain something. That was good.
Liking the subject change, Harry answered the best he could, talking about various things with Lucius.
About an hour or so later, Sirius was finally able to come back. The meeting wasn't much, just some information he really didn't give a shite about, but it would have looked odd if he hadn't shown so he was there. Settling back in then reactivating and enlarging the mirror, he was happy to see that nothing was amiss. Lucius and Harry were talking about some kind of charm for something or other. Nothing seemed stressed or off. That he was happy with. Quickly letting them know he was back, he jumped into the conversation, liking the relaxed atmosphere. This was good, going very well. That gave him hope that whatever issues might crop up they could deal with.
