Content Warning! This is going to contain what most call DaddyKink. The proper terms for it are ageplay and ABDL. If you don't know what they are, or what the tags I'm using on it mean, I strongly suggest you go look them up. As a friend of mine called some of what will go in here, it's 'sick shit'. I will tag it the best I can going in but anything else needed will be added on the chapters it appears in. Also, I tend to base things on canon from the books, not the movies so some things mentioned will be different if you only saw the movies.

Chapter 1
Sitting naked on the edge of his bed, Sirius was pulling on his socks. Brow furrowed as he thought, he called out to his lover, who was in the bathroom, "I'm really worried about Harry. I mean, if things go on how they are, I'm sure that he's destined to go down the same dark path as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Shite, I'm sure from what I keep hearing that he's headed there anyway! And Albus is just letting it happen. I know the old man isn't doing anything to stop it! They keep encountering each other and Albus lets it happen. Harry... well, he's so different from others his age, so much more serious. Not to mention that he unnerves people with some of what he says, does and how he goes about things." This was a discussion they had before, a few times as a matter of fact, so it wasn't coming as far out of the blue as it sounded.
"I tend to agree with you, Sirius," a voice called out from the bathroom. "Albus seems to be content to let this play out, only worrying about the 'greater good' and not seeing what's coming from it. I don't think he's seeing just what Harry is like, only that he's the one destined to end the whole thing thanks to a prophecy of some kind and turning a blind eye to it like he does so much." Stepping out, dressed only in his unzipped pants, Lucius was straightening his hair. Grabbing his shirt off the back of a chair, he slipped it on then said, "Like I said, I agree with you. Even if we do win this war, the likelihood another one is coming in the not so distant future against Harry is there. He's... intense, for lack of a better word. It's not helping that Albus is ignoring everything when it comes to him and letting it go on, counting on the whole... how did he put it... Harry had a mother's love thing." Doing up the buttons of the shirt, Lucius looked at his long-term lover then said, "Now, you realize I have nothing against Harry, right? I don't know him that well, more like just from hearing you and Severus talk about him."
Standing, Sirius slipped into his pants then said, "I understand, Lucius. It's not personal, I know that. You don't know him at all. I agree with your assessment about it if things don't change. Harry is unnerving the way he is now. And it gets worse with each passing year. There is so much anger there. Nor does he let himself get close to anyone. Shite, Hermione and Ron think he's their best friend, but I know Harry doesn't see it that way. He's said he likes them and they are friends but that's it. He tells me he doesn't have any close friends at all. The only one that might go into that category is Severus and even then it's not the same. I think he just trusts him more than he does everyone else for reasons I don't think even Severus understands."
Tucking his shirt into his pants, Lucius zipped them up then sat on the bed to pull his boots on. "I agree. Albeit I only know him from what you, Draco and Severus have said about him, but that's been enough for me to realize that there is an issue. From what I'm told, each time he comes back from that hellhole Dumbledore sends him to each summer, it gets worse. He gets angrier, distances himself from everyone and wants left alone."
"He does," Sirius told him with a nod. Grabbing his shirt, he put it on then did up the buttons. "Petunia and Vernon make the whole thing worse, there is no doubt there. He's so angry when he comes back, you can see it on his face, not to mention hear it when he talks about things. It makes it even worse that he knows there are other places he can go that he wouldn't be treated that way, but Dumbledore insists that he go back there. Then there is the fact that everyone bows to just what Dumbledore wants and doesn't seem to bother to question it, assuming it's for the best. I know that pisses him off even more. Hell, it would me!" Plopping back down on the bed, Sirius ran a hand through his hair then shook his head, "I don't know what to do, I really don't. There has to be a way to change this and get him off the path but I don't know what it is! Nor can I, alone, go against Dumbledore and win. Harry knows I care about him, but with the position I'm in, what with being an escaped convict and all, I can't do shite about anything! Dumbledore knows this too. That's something that pisses me off to no end."
Sitting up after his boots were on, Lucius leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees then looked at Sirius. "The old man wants to keep you out of it. If Harry gets attached to someone and they are looking out only for his best interests, it might mean his plans won't play out the way he wants them. He can't let that happen, Sirius. You need to remember what I've always said; Albus thinks he's smart enough that he won't make mistakes and everything will work out in the end. He also is of the opinion that he's smarter than the rest of us. The hurt of one being, no matter what it might cause in the end, is worth it if his plans don't get messed up. After all, he knows better than the rest of us. He's had almost fifteen years to plan this whole thing out. There is no way he's going to allow someone to throw a spanner into the works now, even if it means that the boy he's manipulating might end up being worse of a nightmare for our world than the one he's trying to end. No, he has to let it play out as it is, convinced that he's right and Harry will be the great hero with no problems in the end. He doesn't see what so many of us are. What he sees is Saint Harry at the end of it, not the angry young man he's manipulating him into being."
Scrubbing a hand over his face, looking tired, Sirius shook his head. "Honestly? I don't think we have long to turn this around! Harry will be fifteen this year. If something isn't done soon, there will be no turning it around! He's going to end up going further down that dark path than he already is and there will be no changing it. I just don't know what to do to stop it!"
"I'm of the opinion, like I've always said, that it would be stopped by now if Dumbledore hadn't convinced you to take off after you escaped. I still think that was all part of his plan to manipulate the young man into doing what he wanted. If you were around, this might not have been stopped but it would be changed. The danger would be less, that's for sure. Hell, he had to know you would have places to stay where you were safe and in no danger of getting caught, like here. Or, as you well know, I would have found you one. No, Albus didn't want you around, that's all there is to it. I'm sure that had more to do with Harry than it did protecting you once you were in no danger of being Kissed."
"I know, I know," Sirius told him with a weary sigh. "In hindsight, I know I should have listened to you, but I thought Albus knew what he was doing. Shite, I should have known how bad things were when Harry was willing to take off with me only an hour or so after we met. As I told Remus later, that should have been the biggest fucking warning flag there was! I ignored it, though, and let Albus convince me to do something that would keep me 'protected'. If James and Lily were around, they would have my balls for it!"
Sighing, Lucius shook his head, "I don't know what to tell you, Sirius. I really don't. However, I do agree something, somewhere, has to give or our worst nightmare will be coming after the Dark Lord is gone."
"I agree," Sirius nodded. "Harry is angry now and wants revenge. He will get it, we know that. Once the big one is gone, he's not going to stop, like others don't, he's just going to go after others that have 'wronged' him over it as well. The more he does that, the more people are going to 'wrong' him and the bigger the list will grow. Hell, I'll be surprised if the damned Dursley's make it to his eighteenth birthday as much as he despises them! Once they are gone, I'm sure Albus will be in his sights. He's told me bluntly he hates the man. It's not good, Lucius! I don't know what to do, though!"
"And I don't know what to tell you," Lucius said with a shrug. "I do agree though. In my opinion, this year will be critical to changing things. He's at the right age for it to swing one way or another. With how he already is, he's already going in one direction. I don't think you can make it swing the other way, but I think you can, if someone puts something in place quickly, make it to where he's in the middle somewhere. Just how to do that though..." Lucius trailed off then looked at Sirius.
"Yeah, just how to do that..." Sirius said, rubbing his eyes. "I have no idea on it nor do I even know where to start. The summer is just kicking off, Harry arrived at the Dursley's yesterday and I don't know even how to go about this as we don't have much time to even get it started let alone push it to where he doesn't keep going."
Hearing it laid out like that, Lucius sighed again and shook his head. "No, we don't have much time to do something. With the way the Ministry is watching him, waiting for one wrong move they can nail him on, it's a surefire bet that's going to happen as well. When they go after him full-bore, something we know is going to happen, all hell is going to break loose and I don't think there will be much anyone will be able to do after that to get him off the path he's going down."
"Which means we have to come up with something, fast," Lucius nodded. Thinking it over, he said, tone distant, "Remus will be here all day, that I know, but won't Severus as well?"
"Yeah, he will be. As long as you're here, Severus stays to make sure no one pops up unexpectedly or, if they do, I get warned so they don't see you." Sirius told him, looking at him, curious expression on his face.
Pleased with that, Lucius nodded. "That might work then. The three of you know Harry better than almost anyone. Perhaps something like a conference between the four of us can at least put a plan of action into place or give hints on how things should be handled. Well, provided no one is due to be here tonight."
"No, no one's supposed to come over tonight. The big meeting is in two days. Until then, Dumbledore has everyone doing something or other about whatever plans he's hatching." Thinking it over, Sirius nodded then said, "This isn't a bad idea, Lucius. You can stick around for it?"
“Of course. I have nothing more planned today.” Lucius told him.
“Good. I think you're needed. We might know Harry the best, but you have a neutral perspective on the whole situation and will be able to see things we can't when it comes to it. I'm sure that's something we're going to need with this.”
“Yes, that's wise,” Lucius told him. “I will stick around and, between all of us, we should be able to come up with the bare bones of something to at least start. However, I would suggest that something much firmer be put into play before long. Though I don't know what that could be.”
“I agree,” Sirius nodded. Standing, he said, “Come on, let's see what the other two are up to for the day then go from there.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sitting around the table, the four men there were looking dour. Sirius had laid the situation out, at least how he saw it, then they began to discuss it. From everything said, those gathered around the table saw things the way he and Lucius were. The issue that was coming in was that no one knew what to do about it or how to change things.
Sitting there, looking down at the old, scarred table, Remus was fiddling with his teacup, shaking his head. “I don't know what to say or even what I could suggest to help this. All I have are self recriminations over what I should have seen or paid attention to. That doesn't help things now, however. I do think that there is an issue here that needs to be dealt with before it becomes worse. Though, honestly, I’m not sure we can get him off the path he seems to be on. I hope we can, but I don't know.”
“I think we can. It's just a matter of figuring out what we can do, then how to go about it,” Severus told everyone gruffly.
“I've seen children that I know will become those that follow the dark path and will be dangerous when they are adults. Though Harry displays some of the things that make me wary, he's not so far gone that I don't think we can steer him a different way. Those others I've seen over the years had no one they were close to or that they cared about. Harry has some. Of course they're limited, that I admit, but they are there. I doubt he would let anything happen to Ron or Hermione, though he doesn't see himself as close to them. Instead of jumping in as those two would do for him, he would get them help in the form of going to someone, as he's done in the past. However, two, if not three, of those he does see himself as close to are sitting at this table. For Black, myself and, probably you, Lupin, he would do something. That is more than the others I've seen would. And, no, I don't see that he would do it for show or to look good in the eyes of others, the reason so many do such things. He would because he does care. However, the rub comes in that with each summer he spends at the home of his odious relatives, that caring is slipping further away, driving him down a similar path the Dark Lord took.” The Potions Master told them, looking around.
Looking over at Severus, Sirius thought that over. If anyone had told him before he went to Azkaban that he would be in a room with Snape, talking reasonably, he would have called them a nut. It was happening, though. No, they weren't close friends, but, thanks to Lucius, there was a truce in place. As Harry became closer to Snape, that truce shored up and they actually talked from time to time, keeping the vitriol out of things when they did. In things that dealt with his godson, Sirius was willing to take Snape's word for things, listening to him, because the man spent more time with Harry than he did and his godson actually talked to Snape more than he did most other people.
Shifting around, Sirius folded his arms over his chest and looked at the table then nodded, “Alright, that one I buy. There is at least hope here. However, I don't see that we have much of it or time to do anything. And we have no plan as how to go about this to stop it either! Any suggestions there, Snape?”
Rubbing his eyes in a tired way, Severus thought it over. Shaking his head, the Potion Master sighed, “Not really, no. And if we do what Albus wants for this summer, leaving him alone and not even talking or writing to him, what will come back to Hogwarts this fall will be what we all fear. Already, Harry is angry at being played by Dumbledore and having his life controlled by the man. To have the being he hates so much basically strip away everything that has him holding on from following the path the Dark Lord himself took will be all that's needed. If we do that, or allow it to happen, I don't think there will be any hope left for Harry at the start of term. I can assure you, that's not a statement I like to make either. It's the realism of the situation though.”
Up to this point, Lucius had basically just listened to them talking, not chiming in because the men around him knew Harry far better than he did. Taking in what Severus said, he thought it over then asked, “Why in Merlin's name would the old coot want to cut him off from contact with everyone? That makes no sense unless he wants to drive him into something. With what's going on, I can't see he would want to do that.”
“We can't figure that out either, Lucius,” Remus told him quietly. “We get the excuse it's to protect Harry from falling into something the Ministry is trying to pull to discredit or punish him. It makes no sense though. Albus has to know that Harry's contact with those that he at least talks to is the only thing that keeps him hanging on. Sirius and I speculate it might be that Albus sees it as Harry is more grateful when he returns. It's the only thing we can come up with. If that is what he's trying, it's failing and he's not seeing it. I don't think Albus gets how much Harry loathes him. Nor that Harry isn't James and doesn't see Albus as some great protector that's doing what is best for our world. I think, honestly, in Harry's eyes, Albus is no better than He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named because of what he does.”
Shaking his head, Lucius thought that over. Honestly? He could see Harry's point of view there, quite easily as a matter of fact. “Alright, that does make sense,” Lucius nodded. “Figuring out the why behind it isn't the issue, though. First we need to figure out how to stop it then we can get to the why.”
“I agree with Lucius,” Severus told them, looking around the table. “Let's worry about the why as a peripheral thing rather than as the main focus. Instead, we need to look at how to stop it. I don't think we should even attempt to get Weasley or Granger to write to him. In even trying, it's going to get back to Albus from either Arthur or Molly. No, we have to do something else.”
“I also don't think just an owl here and there is going to stop this,” Lucius added quietly. “It might assist a little, but if the young man is mostly alone with relatives that hate him, a letter here and there isn't going to make a difference one way or another. Plus, he has to know that such things can be intercepted. If Albus is having people keep an eye on the place, as you've all said is going to happen, those owls might not get through and whatever is said is going to end up in the hands of the old coot.”
Nodding, Remus spoke up, “Lucius makes a couple very good points there. There has to be another way to do this though I don't have any ideas there.”
“I'm out for anything like that,” Severus sighed, rubbing his eyes. “My contact with him is in school. With my role in this mess, not to mention that it would seem odd for me to even try something like that, it could end up catastrophic.”
“I agree, Snape is out for it,” Sirius nodded. “That leaves me and Remus.”
“I think it should be you, Padfoot.” Remus told him, looking at his old friend. “You've kept in contact with him since the whole mess his third year, I haven't. It would look decidedly odd to everyone, including Harry, if I started doing something like that. Besides, other than Severus, you're the only one he'll really open up to, even if it's just slightly. The rest of us he doesn't trust enough to do that.”
“Alright, gotcha, it's me,” Sirius nodded. “I'll do it, I have no problem with that. The question now comes to just what the hell do I do and how do I go about it? Shite, if he were here, I could talk to him every day and work with this. He's not. Nor, with the position I'm in, can I move there or something. Not only would Arabella be suspicious if I turned up, so would everyone assigned to watch him.”
“And that's the rub,” Severus admitted softly. “We have the who but now we need the how when it comes to both how to do it and go about it with Harry.” Looking around, he asked, “Any suggestions there? And I do agree that the more contact, the better. Owls here and there just aren't enough. Muggle means of communication is out as well. Not only is it not viable to try to get something like that installed here, we aren't sure Harry's relatives would allow such a thing. We all know what they are like when it comes to contact with anyone in this world and allowing the young man anything that brings him some form of pleasure.”
Silence descended as everyone thought that over. Nor, really, could anyone come up with anything. Most magical means of communication would have to be installed in the house Harry was in, something that couldn’t be done on the sly. Nor did they have the conveniences Muggles did when it came to such things.
Tapping his foot, arms crossed over his chest, Sirius tried to think. Mind dancing back over his school years, he thought about those mirrors he and James had. Those might do it. Looking at Snape, he asked, “Do you know what Harry does all summer? I know he talks to you so does he mention that?”
“From what he's said he tries to stay out of the house as much as he can. There is a play park not far from where he lives. He said he likes to go there as it's usually deserted. Beyond that, he says he likes to read or plays on that lappytip computer thing he bought last year. Why?” Severus asked.
“That might work,” Sirius nodded. “I have some two-way mirrors I can use. If I can get those to him, we can talk every day. The only thing I’m worried about is the Ministry picking up on the magic from them and reading it as him using such a thing out of school.”
“They won't,” Severus said, quietly. Looking around, he told everyone, tone firm, “I need assurances this will go no further.” When he saw all of them nod, he sighed then told them, “The Trace on him is gone. He broke it after his third year. How he managed it, I don't know and didn't ask, but he did. I cast a spell on him to detect it and it's not there.”
“That's...” Remus started, frowning. After a minute or so, he continued on quietly, “That's a NEWT level spell, at least the only ones I know that could do such a thing. How does he even know those kinds of spells?”
Looking sour, Snape looked at the table then said, “Take my word for it, that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Harry knows. I don't think any of them are classified as dark, mind you, but what he does know when it comes to such things is astounding. Most he's gotten from the library at Hogwarts. I do believe he's ordered some books where he's learned others, but the majority are from Hogwarts.”
Bewildered, Remus looked at Sirius, who appeared equally as puzzled then said, “From what we know of his grades, he's just average. I assume he had to learn quite a few things for that tournament but he wouldn't have picked that much up in the last year or so.”
“His grades don't reflect how intelligent he is or just how much he knows,” Severus sighed. “I know because I asked him and he told me that he does that on purpose so that people underestimate him. Harry is... very intimidating.” Looking at the concerned and bewildered looks thrown his way, Severus told them, “I had him duel Draco once to see what his level was, more to judge what I thought he might need to know when it comes to some things to protect himself. As we all know, Draco can hold his own against anyone. By the time I called it, Harry had completely unnerved Draco with what he knew and was throwing at him. Again, nothing he did would be considered dark, but there was enough there, with plenty of power behind it, to completely throw Draco off. Neither of us thought Harry could pull off what he did. From the grin we saw afterwards, I doubt that's all he knew either. It was my opinion that he was doing nothing more than toying with Draco as through the whole thing for a measure of fun. Trust me, Harry knows plenty.”
Glancing at Lucius, Sirius saw an astounded, yet troubled, expression there. Quietly, he asked, “Did you know that, Lucius?”
“No, I didn't,” Lucius admitted. “I do know Draco is cautious around him. I assumed that was because of Harry's relationship with Severus. This I didn't know about. However, I do know that Draco hasn't lost a duel with anyone his own age. He can even hold his own against those a couple years older than himself.” Looking at Severus, he asked, “There was nothing dark involved?”
“Nothing,” Severus told him firmly. “However, the speed at which he can throw things and the shielding he does tells me he's practiced, a lot too. He didn't come by this naturally.”
“Bloody hell,” Sirius sighed, shaking his head.
Thinking it over, rubbing his chin while he looked down at the table, Remus said, “The power is there, that I know. He learned the Patronus his third year. Now that I look back at it, the issue wasn't picking up on the spell itself, but finding a happy memory to produce it. And, as we all know, he can produce a powerful one.”
Rubbing his eyes, Sirius sighed again, not wanting to think about that part yet though he needed to. Then, to push on, he said, “Alright, the mirrors will work. I know we have a day or so before the full coverage on his house begins. Tomorrow I'll pop over that direction and see if I can't catch him alone. I'll sit and talk with him a while then give him the mirrors. After that, I'm going to see if I can't spend time with him each night. After a week or so, I say we all meet up again and talk to see what we can do or figure out to start steering him some kind of direction away from what it looks like. Does that work for everyone?” Looking around, he waited.
“It sounds workable,” Severus nodded. “I can make sure I'm around for such a thing. I'll also take it upon myself to ensure Lucius is here.”
“I have no problems with it or getting here,” Remus added.
“Alright, that's good. I'll see about getting him talking then get a feel for his interests. It might be a good idea if I pop over that direction here and there just to talk to him. If it's how Severus says, and he has a place he likes to go to get out of the house, I might be able to manage it with a ward or something up to distract people. If nothing else, it can't hurt anything.” Sirius said.
“Good plan,” Remus nodded. “I think I can get the schedule of who is watching when. When I do that, you can judge the best times to go.”
“That'll work,” Sirius nodded. “Alright, I'll find the mirrors tonight, or charm some new ones if I have to, and get them to him. If I have a problem, I'll get hold of you lot then we can meet up and talk again. Work for all of you?” Looking around, he saw them nod then said, “Good. We better break this up in case someone decides they need to show up for something or other. Molly was talking about cleaning things up here. We don't want her popping over unannounced and seeing Lucius.”
“No, that wouldn't be a good thing,” Lucius smirked. Standing, he said, “If any assist from my end is needed, contact Severus. He knows how to get a message to me in a way that no one will get suspicious about.”
Standing, Severus nodded then said, “If I think of anything that will help, I'll let you know.” After a nod everyone's direction, he left with Lucius to make sure no one saw anything if someone was coming in.
Sitting there, Remus looked at Sirius then asked after he was certain the other two had gone, “Padfoot, you think you can work with this?”
“I will work with this,” Sirius told him firmly. “I don't care what I have to do, he's not going to end up like so many others just because Dumbledore wants him to fight a war. No, my godson won't follow that path. I don't give a shite what I have to do, it's not going to happen.”
Nodding, Remus sighed then took a sip of his tea.
