I really enjoy 'seeing' Albus and Minerva in Severus's rooms. I think that is a really important touch, they keep him grounded or something to his past. This is a really good fic!

another great chapter. i can see though that darling severus is going to have more feeling's for hermione than even he anticipates. not only in a sexual manner. i believe he can see her as his mental equal and will find that arousing. which in all honesty it is. a conversation with some one who knows what they're talking about and can share their ideas and opinions with you is very "stimulating". anyways, great chapter. i have to question lavendars real reason for not accepting the fee. maybe it is a bit of pity mixed witha bit of thanks. but also some thanks for future events as hopefully hermione will help draco and severus get out. btw, i do hope hermione goes with them when they leave. that would totally rock! alright, get to writing hun, i'm anxious for more!

I am truly enjoying this story of yours that is unfolding before me. I would like to make a small request.
I was wondering that before you have your charater reveal that he is indeed the infamous snarky man of black and potions.
You could have the two of them involve themselves in a bit of role play for Hermione. Perhaps by her fantaziing about her Potions Professor. I was thinking of something along the lines of her perform something on herself in fornt of him, all the while he is guiding her in her self exploration, and calling out "Serverus" in an all to ilicit way.
I know this is your baby but I thought that this kind of scene could break Hermione's cycle of sexual frustration and she wouldn't physically cheat on her husband, though I have a feeling that he is seeing someone on the side(of the Moon being a guess?).

I also loved the way you tyed in Umbridge by the way of Fudge's wife, how approprieate!

Ch 18 - I like your Mrs Bigelow and hope to see her again, perhaps to employ Severus when he goes legit. Ginny seems to be unleasing her Slytherin side, and I hope she is saving her money for when she gets free of Harry (or kill Harry??). I wonder when Hermione will quit waiting for Ron the Weasel. What's this situation with Lavendar - have the boys told her yet that they are escalating their escape plans? What ARE Lavendar's plans for Hermione?? And when will you tell us about Severus' late wife?? More, please!

OMG! I've just read all 17 chapters today. I was entirely gripped. Please continue, this is great stuff. The way you write about Muggle London and the Wizarding world and the general lack of trust between people makes me consider that it is easier for magical folk to lead a double life than us. Trust is even harder to come by for them than for muggles because everyone has a magic trick up their sleeve.

I am reminded a bit of 1984 - the need to get away to a room where you can be yourself and being prepared to take enormous risks to do so. I'm so looking forward to the moment when Severus reveals himself to her - what's he going to say, just before he removes his mask?

    Oh. My. Gods.

I started this fic thinking it was going to be dreadful. I mean, think about it. Reading the Rowling books, the very idea of Snape as a gigolo is ridiculous, no?

Wow. I've only reached chapter 8 and already I'm blown away. You really know a lot about how a bad relationship makes someone feel, and I hope you don't mind my saying that this knowledge comes from friends telling you about it and not personal experience.

You also do sexual frustration well. Many, many kudos. I guess it just goes to show that a good author can make even a silly premise into a good story. Please do keep it up. It's not often that I review a story, even a story I like, and it's VERY rare that someone on here exceeds my expectations.

Best of luck to you and your family (I think you said you have kids? I have a daughter who's now 18 months...) from your fellow author, Wolvertique!

excellent chapter. i didn't really expect ron to come back so no disappointment so far there. what is ginny up to? seems she has an idea. hmmm interesting. alright, it's time to see some ss/hg action! espeially now that she's considering leaving ron. he doesn't deserve her anyway. every one is right. she deserves some one intelligent and wonderful to match her brilliant mind. either snape or lupin, take your pick. frankly i like them both. anyways, keep up the good work and update soon!

    much love

Yet another wonderful chapter! I loved the bit about Umbridge -- makes perfect sense. Good way to include some actual canon in your fanon! ;-) I liked the healer named Cheval, too. And Hermione's reviewing her relationship with Ron is so perfect. She *would* look at it analytically, almost clinically, wouldn't she? Keep up the great work!
